I was very pleased with how my flowers turned out for my wedding. I requested red flowers in various varieties (with some deep purple in my bouquet) and gold leaves for my bridesmaids. The flowers turned out even better than I imagined – the flowers were sprinkled with gold dust that really made them pop! I had two appointments during the planning process, and both went very smoothly. I worked with John and he was great about telling me what would work and look great. I would definitely use them again! -

The florist took the time to sit down with us and go over different flower types and costs. He really made sure he knew what we were looking for and designed them perfectly. We used them for our bouquets and boutonnieres and they turned out beautifully. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a florist. -

AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! My flowers were absolutely gorgeous and we got compliments ALL day for them. Also, the alter arrangements for the church lasted about 2 weeks!! We left them in the church and they lasted a very long time! The staff was helpful and definitely knew their stuff. Couldn't have picked a better florist! -

I would recommend Rolling Meadows Florist to anyone...small shop, but they do so much. Price/Value was exceptional. They are great to work with, have great recommendations and the final product is fabulous. We received comments all night on our centerpieces and bridal party bouquets. -

I can't say much more about these folks other than they listened to me, they demonstrated that they were listening by mirroring back what they thought my expectations were, and they allowed me to participate in their process by providing custom elements (exotic floral items, high end ribbon, etc) and working with it all so I could get exactly what I wanted.
And this was all at a value. I highly recommend this business. They know what they are doing, and they want to get it right for your special day. I would use them again for an event IN A HEARTBEAT. -

We found them at the bridal expo in Rosemont and when we met with the, they were very helpful and willing to work with our budget and our ideas. The flowers turned out beautiful and for the price we did not expect the great quality they provided. Highly recommended! -

I went here because I recieved a brochure from a 2006 bridal show about their wedding package that was $549. It included the bridal and toss bouquet, MOH and 2 BM bouquets, mothers' corsages, dads' boutonniere, groom boutonniere and 3 other boutonniere for the best man and GMs. There would also be two altar arrangements and we could choose whatever flowers we wanted.
Of course I had to order 2 additional BM bouquets and 2 GM boutonnieres, plus I had 4 sponsors and a flower girl and ring bearer to buy for. I also selected centerpieces for the guest tables, and my choice of a fishbowl with 12 red roses (since my own bouquet was just all red roses, and the girls/mom corsages have white ones) I ws then looking at a total of about $1700. The centerpieces came to about $60 each for such a simple arrangement. I know I could have done the same thing myself for much cheaper but I knew I wouldn't have time the night before the wedding nor have to coordinate with friends and family on who could set it all up.
The good thing was even though I booked in 2007 where the package price had gone up to $599, the owner still honored it. He was also nice when I told him I didn't want a unity candle arrangement and an aisle runner, even though during the initial consultation I said I wanted it. He didn't try to convince me otherwise to keep them.
I think I could have spent less with some other florist since my flowers weren't complicated, but the quality of roses used were so beautiful, fresh and the red color definitely popped in the pictures. Plus they delivered on time and everything was in order. I guess if you want peace of mind for the wedding then I'd say hiring a pro to do your flowers is worth it. -

Originally meeting with Rolling Meadows Florist's Cathy threw me off gaurd when she wasn't as supportive with the creative process or ideas I had in mind, but working with the other coordinator, Joe (I think was his name) was great! He was so much more helpful and the flowers turned out to be exactly what I wanted! They actually suprised me with the great selection of flowers and colors, I was very pleased and they were very prompt with set up and delivery. -

My bridesmaid's bouquets were beautiful. My bouquet (the bride's) was so so. It did not show up looking anything like what we had discussed and was MUCH smaller than I had expected. Of course at that point in the game there isn't much that you can do. Fortunately I had a crafty bridesmaid that took some scissors to some ugly flowers that shot out inches above the bouquet (and were hot glued in). After those were removed the bouquet was more bearable but still not what I had in mind or had requested. Also, the centerpieces were much smaller and had less flowers than originally discussed. Oh well. -

She calls me 2 days before my wedding telling me they ran out of ribbon that I was supplying. I said that's impossible I gave you extra. Because I am extremely organized, I had another emergency roll at home. I said I would drop it off. When I walked into the shop I saw the bows she was making for the candlesticks that will be 3 feet into the air above the pew. These bows were the size of basketballs! I said no wonder you ran out of ribbon! They're too big. I want it like half that size! The women working said to call the owner in the morning she had nothing to do with it. So I called the owner the next day and she argued with me! She said she didn't want to make them smaller because you won't see them. She said that she had been doing flowers for 25 years and has never had a bride ask for bows to be made smaller. I said I don't care what you've seen, I don't want basketball sized bows hanging 3 feet in the air where my guests can't see! Since I didn't trust her and the fact that she was arguing with me...a bride I said I will be in the store in the afternoon. I want to see the new size so I can approve it. She was so offended by my request! I show up later in the day and she made 3 sizes of bows. I picked the smallest one that was the size of a soft ball. She was offended again because I chose the smallest one. I'm SO glad I went in to double check what they were doing otherwise I would have seen it only as I was walking down the aisle and it would have been too late! The last thing you want to do is to babysit your florist. Do not go to them. You get what you pay for. My husband's boutonniere was not what we wanted either. He did not look special that he was the groom. The guys had better ones than the groom! Skip Rolling Meadows Florist! -

My mom saw their ad for $599 wedding package. Since it was the cheapest around, I decided to go for it. I should have known that going cheap meant the service would mirror that. When I originally went in, the woman I'd spoken with was very nice and gave me extra boutonnieres, bouquets, and corsages for free since I wasn't doing altar arrangements. When I went in a month before the wedding, I dealt with the owner. One of the first things he says when he looks at my contract was that he'd never have given me that much for this price. Um, excuse me??? You already did so too bad. And then he adds in the vases and changes my boutonnieres to roses instead of calla lilies because he says otherwise they'd be extra! I should have spoken up louder and said that originally they WERE Calla lilies but I didn't feel like arguing anymore and just wanted to get out of there. So for my wedding, the guys all had these burnt orange roses and the girls had calla lilies. My groom's calla looked tiny in comparison to the girls which was crappy and my bouquet wasn't really at all what I had anticipated. The calla lillies that WERE in my bouquet were buried by roses. All in all, it wasn't what I had expected or really wanted for my wedding. I was extremely put aback by the owner's lack of professionalism when dealing with a bride who had already signed a contract months earlier. Ugh. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone because I was appalled. Skip this place. Spend your money elsewhere. -
