I do not have enough words in my vocabulary to describe what an AMAZING experience we had with River Terrace for our October 14th wedding! From the moment we walked in, we knew that it was the perfect place for us to say “I Do”. We booked a year before our wedding, and in that year the hotel and restaurant underwent the most beautiful renovation. The grounds have so many great spots for photos, the ceremony area is gorgeously maintained, and their ballroom was perfect for our intimate 80 person wedding. The food was absolutely fantastic, and was so consistent with what we had at our tasting, which was such an amazing experience in itself. The service staff was so kind and genuine, and they really went above and beyond for us!
For a year straight, Audrey and Danielle (The catering and event supervisors) answered every e-mail and every question thoroughly, and I truly owe such a huge thank you to them. The recent fires that were in Napa and Sonoma broke out five days before our wedding, and they were so responsive and helpful - - despite one of them being evacuated themselves! If there was a bump in the road (which believe me, there were many!), they had a solution to it before they even called to tell me. They were so professional and caring, and they really went out of their way to help us in every single way possible. My wife and I had our wedding here a little under a month ago at The River Terrace Inn and I couldn't have been more happy with all the help Audrey Hardy (Sales and Marketing Director), her right-hand woman Danielle Davidson (Sales and Catering Coordinator), Jermaine, Billy and Dawn provided! Their collective experience really helped with the seamless execution of everything from our wedding day, from the hors d'oeuvres to the ceremony, to the dinner and after dinner reception! The food (as well as its presentation) provided by the hotel was fantastic and the serving staff was very attentive to our guests needs!
We held the entire wedding in the Terrace Court building which is actually a separate building from the main hotel, making it very convenient for our guests who stayed at the hotel (with a discount!) to wander back over after celebrating with us. Audrey was very accommodating, as we had previously discussed the possibility of inclement weather (January wedding issues), so when it did end up raining the morning of she let us use an extra indoor space within the building for our event although it didn't rain during our scheduled time! The Terrace Court is really a beautiful venue in of itself, providing plenty of great backdrops for photos!
I feel as though there is more that I am missing in this review but I cannot recommend The River Terrace Inn enough for future weddings!
FYI we did have a fun, intimate wedding with 16 people but there is more then enough space for several dozen guests!

We used the River Terrace Inn for our hotel block for guests our wedding weekend, and had our rehearsal dinner at the Terrace Court event space. I had the hardest time finding a rehearsal dinner venue since I wanted a beautiful space, but not a restaurant setting where everyone would be bound to their designated seat. We looked at the River Terrace Inn primarily because of the hotel block, but once I walked into the terrace court I knew we had to choose it - hotel or not.
The space is beautiful and well-laid out for a cocktail/dinner party and the outdoor fireplace (and the s'mores station!) made for a great post-dinner environment. Chante was so great to work with on each little detail, from negotiating hotel rates, to distribution of welcome baskets, to rehearsal dinner menu. We had two wedding-related events at the Cuvee at River Terrace Inn - a pre-wedding cocktail reception and a post-wedding brunch. We also had a large room block at the hotel. Chante Limosnero (manager) was extremely professional, reliable, and responsive throughout and was a joy to work with. The Cuvee venue is great as it is beautifu (nice firepit and lighting at night), convenient (across the street from River Terrrace Inn with free parking, 10 minutes walking from downtown Napa), and very flexible (can use different parts of the space to meet your group size). In particular, we really loved their combination of indoor-outdoor space since it was a little cooler than expected at our events. All of the events went extremely well and we were very happy to have picked this vendor!
