  I wish I could put into words what a blessing it was to find this park... it is a GORGEOUS setting, especially for our sunset/evening wedding and reception. I have to start by saying that Mike Herman was an incredible help... he put up with all of my questions and emails and site visits... he was so understanding, professional, patient, and accommodating. He even understood when I had my "week of the wedding" mini-meltdown after realizing we had made a couple of mistakes in our planning. I can't thank Mike enough for being so responsive and kind with our DIY wedding... the park provided tables and the perfect setting - we provided the linens, decor, caterer, etc. It was so wonderful to be able to make everything truly "ours." The park was just perfect. We decorated with a lot of warm string lighting, which really enhanced the area. So many people remarked on the intimate, naturally beautiful atmosphere and out-of-town guests were wishing they had something similar back home. We couldn't be happier with our choice to use Richardson! Thank you, again, Mike!

  Just what we were looking for

  My one stipulation when looking for a venue is I didn’t want a hotel or hall rental. But I also didn’t want a rustic barn house type venue either. It was a lot harder than I anticipated. The Richardson is a hidden gem in the middle of Wilton Manors. Within 5min of being there I knew it was exactly what I was looking for. The grounds are perfect for an outdoor ceremony & reception. We used the gazebo for the ceremony, and the carriage house and pavilion for the reception and cocktail hour. The pavilion was huge and fit 100 guests, dessert table, food stations, dj, and dance floor without a problem. The best part is how reasonable the price is for a wedding venue. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for the perfect outdoor/indoor space.
