  A true pro !

  Ray came highly recommended and we are so happy he fell into our lap. The level of professionalism and care he gave to our special day is something we will always be grateful for. Ray provided us with the best resources possible to create and bring to life the words and meaning of our love. Several of our guests are still talking about how meaningful the ceremony was. You can not go wrong when choosing Ray Van Winkle to officiate your special day.

  Wonderful officiant!

  Rev. William Wood officiated our wedding in July 2022. He was very professional and courteous throughout our time working with him. From our first meeting, Rev. Wood took the time to understand our background and help us craft the kind of ceremony that felt true to us. He has officiated hundreds of both religious and non-religious ceremonies and had many template options available to help guide us. He did a great job helping us seamlessly incorporate some of our cultural traditions into the ceremony. During the wedding rehearsal, he kept everyone on track and helped organize both our families. At our outdoor ceremony, Rev. Wood spoke in a clear and loud voice that carried despite the windy weather. We are grateful to Rev. Wood for making our day so special and we highly recommend working with Rev. Van Winkle and Associates for your wedding.

  Rev. Ray ensured we got a personalized ceremony despite not being able to meet prior to our wedding day! While video chatting, we got to know and become comfortable with each other. He sent us his personal ceremony book filled with ENDLESS traditional, non-traditional, and customizable options. His warm and confident personality truly set the loving tone for our ceremony, and we'd recommend him to ALL couples!

  Amazing officiant - you want him!

  From the moment we met Ray we felt super comfortable and were ready to put a deposit down on his services for our wedding. The book he provides to help provide inspiration for writing your ceremony is incredible. The words we spoke on our wedding day were so special - and so real - and I can't imagine our ceremony would have been even half as beautiful without his help. He was awesome day of at gently helping us remember what we were supposed to be doing and he brought the right amount of serious and levity to the ceremony. We would absolutely recommend him to anyone - including my brother and his fiancée who are using his services, too!

  Say "I do" to Rev Ray!

  Rev Ray was awesome to work with and came highly recommended by my wedding planner (he married her and her husband, too!). His easygoing demeanor, along with the willingness to make some last minute changes, made me feel super calm. The ceremony was full of happy tears, laughter, and barking (our dogs were in the ceremony) and I credit its perfection to him. I would recommend Rev Ray to anyone, religious or not - he is the best!

  Choose Ray Van Winkle

  HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
  So finding an officiant was one of the more stressful parts of my wedding planning. I have a family that extends from very religious to not-at-all, and I wanted to find a ceremony that would be respectful for the family attending (and then more importantly -- meaningful for us!) I asked my venue for recommendations and they recommended Ray Van Winkle. BEST DECISION.
  
  Ray was highly responsive and met with us quickly after reaching out. My husband (fiance at the time) was unsure about what he wanted in an officiant, but asked Ray on the spot to be our officiant after meeting him because "he had it so together". My fiance and I looked over the book that Ray provided us to choose our perfect wedding ceremony (short, sweet, focused on us, meaningful)
  
  The wedding day went off without a hitch. Ray knows exactly what he is doing! It's so awesome to have someone up there with you who knows whats going on (because actually getting married was all new to me). He led the ceremony along, he made us feel comfortable and also knew when to duck and move for us to get the best photos. Basically, he made it so easy, we just were able to stand up there and smile at each other all starry eyed.
  
  All in all - a very good officiant and I was happy with the experience!!! Thank you Ray.

  Great officiant!

  Rev. Ray delivered the short and sweet wedding ceremony we had hoped for, with ease. The initial meet-and-greet was friendly and informative, follow-up communication was quick and easy, and the ceremony itself was a breeze (even in the rain!). Several of our guests commented that we had found a great officiant - and we agree! And his rate is SO reasonable compared to other local options we had considered.

  Best officiant

  Rev. Ray Van Winkle was so amazing for our wedding in June. Not knowing what to do or how to go about things during the ceremony Ray was such an amazing support and had all the answers. He even took his time to come to us to get things started. We even were able to have our own book to help us prior to the wedding.   Rev Ray was absolutely wonderful at his job. He was very patient and calm during the rehearsal and wedding day. I had lots of questions leading up to the wedding day and he answered them in a timely manner (email & phone). On the wedding day, I had forgotten to hug my dad and a couple other things, which Rev Ray nicely (and quietly) reminded me so the audience would not hear. I appreciated the reminders and the fact that Rev Ray was experienced at his job. He knew what to say to make the ceremony run smoothly and when to step out of the way for the photographer.   Ray was wonderful. He made the whole process very easy. If you don't have a coordinator to help with the rehearsal, Ray takes charges and leads it. He is a very experienced officiant and great at what he does.

  Rev. Ray Van Winkle was the officiant at our daughter's wedding this weekend and we were so thrilled with the meaningful, well crafted ceremony he conducted. So many of our guests commented about how much they enjoyed the wedding and how special the ceremony felt. Rev. Ray worked with the bride and groom and responsively guided the process of creating a ceremony that reflected the true desires of the couple and their future together. Besides that he was organized, efficient and had a great sense of humor without being a "showman." We highly recommend this professional!

  We had the pleasure of having Rev. Ray Van Winkle officiate our elopement in Tacoma, WA in January. We called him with a week's notice (our original courthouse plans fell through) and were thrilled that he was available and flexible on our location/time on such short notice. He did a great job officiating our little ceremony - we trusted that he would be able to say the right words that felt true to US, and we weren't disappointed! Thanks again, Rev. Ray!

  He did a great job at the wedding, and was very professional. He let us create our ceremony however we wanted, and he had the lowest cost. Overall he did a great job!

  Ray was wonderful & professional right from the start!   We were referred to Reverend Ray through a coworker and knew right away after our meeting that we had found our officiant. He is the utmost professional and absolutely knows what he is doing and is able to help guide you through the ceremony with no hiccups.
  
  Using Ray’s method, the process of designing the ceremony could not have been easier. He provides you a document with everything you need to design your perfect ceremony, and is flexible when you want to add any additional personal touches to the ceremony. I would note that Ray is very busy and is very quick and efficient with his time. So in our experience, he didn't necessarily get invested in our love story as other vendors did. However, we added our personal touches to the ceremony so it worked out. He also worked well with our wedding coordinator during the rehearsal and wedding ceremony.   We hired Reverend Ray for our wedding and were very impressed! He was professional and helpful in our initial meeting.   Rev. Ray was great. He was easy to work with and prepared a ceremony which was everything we wanted. We received so many compliments from guests about how fun and cool it was. He could have doubled his fee and it would have been worth it.

  He was amazing! We have a three year old and he was very flexible with knowing that our ceremony may adjust pending whether our son was standing with us or not! We also opted to change the vows the day of and he went with it with no issues! Would highly highly recommend him to anybody!!

  Ray was awesome! He had a ceremony book for us to pick and chose material from. He also allowed us to make edits wherever we'd like or bring any of our own material. We sent him the ceremony pieced together the way we wanted it about two weeks before the ceremony and on the day of the wedding he had it entirely remembered. He spoke the edits we'd made as well as the few pieces we'd added ourselves. He also met with us during rehearsal and walked us through the steps of the ceremony. In addition to his professional abilities, he is a very personable guy. Lastly, he had a great rate in comparison to others we'd met with that didn't have as much experience. I would definitely recommend Reverend Ray!

For us, the officiant was an extremely important part of our wedding and we needed to find someone who would be willing to honor our hope for a spiritual, but non-religious ceremony. In addition, we needed some of our ceremony done in Spanish. We had tough requests to fulfill, but Rev. Ray fulfilled them beautifully. It meant a lot to us that he was willing to meet with us several times to practice his Spanish and in the end he conducted the ceremony beautifully! He is a seasoned professional and one that is guaranteed to meet and exceed your expectations.

We were able to use some of his stock wedding wording plus add in our own special verbiage. He was very flexible in working with us even when our coordinator had not communicated with him the change of date she had made to our rehearsal. He worked with his schedule to make sure it happened for us.
