Rev. Jay was the absolute best! From the first time we met him we were made to feel special and very confident on how our day would go. You could tell this is not just a way to make a living for him, he cares deeply and wants to express your love in the best way. He connected with us and felt like family. He has a great sense of humor but also perfect sensitivity in those touching moments. He elegantly guided the ceremony making things light with humor when emotions ran high and gracefully transitioned back to capturing the importance of the moment. What to say??? I am at a loss to put into the perfect words to describe our experience on our magical day with Rev. Jay and I am never at a loss for words. I'll do my best. Jay brought an authentic care from the get go. Through all the emails, the phone calls, the ceremony, Jay was attentive and guided us into the perfect evening with just the right elements that were personable mixed with a little humor to bring us the most unforgettable, perfect wedding I never knew I wanted. You, sir, are hands down an incredible officiant/person that we'll never forget. One of a kind Officiant!
We are so happy we chose Rev Jay to perform our ceremony! He was both professional and lots of fun! He guided us through the process from beginning to end with ease!! Our families loved him too. He was the perfect choice for our perfect day! We would highly recommend him❤😊

If I had a few words that I could use to describe Jay it would be, confident, compassionate, trustworthy, and energetic. We chose to get married at the Outer Banks because it’s our favorite place in the world. And we wanted someone we could trust into making our expectations a reality. And that’s exactly what Jay did for us. He made us feel comfortable, and we felt completely confident with putting our day into his hands. And he made it magical. I still have family members who attended expressing how it was one of the best ceremonies they’ve gone to. There was never a single moment where anyone felt bored, or unamused. We shared so many laughs, and memories, and heartwarming moments I will never forget. Including an extremely high tide with some pretty angry waves! Jay made our wedding day THAT much better! His delivery of the ceremony was sincere and true to who my husband and I are as a couple. If you're on the fence about hiring him for the rehearsal, DO IT! He helped my husband and I visualize everything for the big day and helped put us at ease knowing we'd be taken care of. Jay made everything about our ceremony special and fun. Rev Jay was absolutely amazing to work with. We were able to set up an introductory meeting before our big day and he helped us create a plan for our ceremony. He was very kind and answered all of our questions. He was able to give us advice and help incorporate our children into the ceremony. The words he spoke during the ceremony were personalized to how we met and helped make our big day that much greater. If you are looking for someone who will be patient, knowledgeable, and encouraging Jay is the man!
