    The best decision for my wedding day

    Premier Events just did my wedding and I think the best way to sum up my experience with them is this... one of my bridesmaids, whom I call 27 dresses because shes been a bridesmaid in 27 weddings, described me as the calmest bride shes ever met. Why was I such a calm bride? It's all because of the amazing team at Premier Events! I didn't have to panic or worry on my wedding day because to put things simply, I knew my wedding was in the perfect and most capable hands I could ever hope for. Everything was perfect and far exceeded my expectations. Our friends and family said this was the most gorgeous wedding they've been to. Thank you to Patty, Lional, MJ, Tony, Bethany and the entire Premier Events staff! I've known and worked with you all for so many years and I am so thankful you all were there for my special day. I love you all dearly. Wonderful job!

    I had to do the rehearsal dinner! Premier Events went above and beyond! The decorations and atmosphere was extraordinary! Every little detail was absolutely perfect!! They are definitely my "go to" people for ANYTHING I ever have to decorate for in the future!

    Unreliable

    I recently got married at Fair Winds Farm in Virginia Beach. The venue was absolutely perfect and I couldn’t see myself getting married anywhere else. The owners are awesome and were very nice to talk to! However, going to this venue, you are required to pay for day of coordination service/planning, which is typical and we were excited to have some help with our big day. That being said, we were extremely disappointed in the service we received over all from Premier Events. From the very beginning, the coordinator was late to every single meeting we had with her and constantly got details (such as the day of the week I was having my wedding!) wrong. I was told the coordinator would be handling certain things for me and then I was told no, they wouldn’t do that and back and forth, multiple times, even up until the week of the wedding, I was constantly confused. Any time I asked about doing something, it was an additional cost and you can definitely get it cheaper elsewhere. It was extremely hard to reach the coordinator and after months of no replies, I finally learned she had gone on maternity leave. Totally understandable, but I felt like I was completely forgotten about and should’ve been told that was going to happen or someone should’ve reached out to me on her behalf. Especially with the pandemic and people all over the country having to cancel their weddings or change them up, I was extremely worried as I wasn’t hearing from my venue/event planner. Once a new coordinator stepped in (about a month or two before the wedding), I felt much better and she assured me everything would be fine. On the wedding day, the staff was great in helping get everything set up, except all of my personal decorations I did myself with my bridesmaids. The florist had said my coordinator would put the flower bouquets in the vases but instead they were all left in a box inside the house and started to wilt before we got to the ceremony, not sure if that was lack of communication or not. Other than that, coordinator was helpful throughout the ceremony and every thing I rented through them was set up nicely, it all looked amazing, exactly how I wanted it. The ceremony was perfect! However, my husband and I were completely forgotten about after we finished our pictures. We went to the house because we weren’t told anything else and couldn’t find the coordinator. He had to go find my maid of honor for me so I could get my dress bustled. I was told the coordinator would get us food during this waiting period, but she was no where to be found and neither of us got the opportunity to eat the cocktail food. Turns out, they had lined up all the wedding party but didn’t tell the bride and groom. So we finally figured it out, thanks to my bridesmaids and headed to the barn. After dinner, our coordinator was no where to be found again. My other vendors were excellent in helping keep us on schedule and to enjoy the night, which is what I was paying Premier Events to do. Myself and my bridesmaids personally arranged to get the cake cutting started which was supposed to be led by the coordinator. I also had several guests, wedding party members and even other vendors complain about how rude and unenthusiastic the coordinator was at the rehearsal as well as the day of the wedding, which is so disappointing. Shoutout to MJ though, for helping my mom out when she needed it and for being fun and friendly. Besides MJ, we were extremely disappointed in the overall experience of working with Premier Events.
