Dream Wedding in a Not-So Dreamy Time
The PowerHouse was our first choice for our big, music-festival style wedding. Then COVID happened. It turns out, the PowerHouse would also be our first choice for our intimate, livestreamed wedding with close family and friends. The staff were a dream to work with and we had a fabulous time in the beautiful buildings. 10/10 recommend this versatile space. It works with any wedding vision and offers beautiful views of the Chattahoochee River. Gorgeous Venue
The venue is unlike anything Columbus has to offer as far as event venues- I would even go as far to say unlike anything you’ll find in Georgia. The views are unmatched, it’s spacious, clean, and steps away from all the nightlife in downtown (Uptown as they call it!). Couldn’t be a better location or more gorgeous venue. I attended an event a few weeks ago and was blown away! The venue is unlike anything Columbus has to offer as far as event venues- I would even go as far to say unlike anything you’ll find in Georgia. Unique Event Venue
The PowerHouse is the most unique venue in Columbus, Georgia! The Upper and Lower PowerHouses retain the feeling and association with their industrial past, while providing a blank canvas that can be adapted to fit any vision you may have. The forebay is a large, flexible space that provides the most amazing views of the Chattahoochee River. My favorite location is probably the Lower PowerHouse’s covered terrace overlooking the breathtaking river. This is the perfect spot for a cocktail hour. The PowerHouse’s location is adjacent to two brand new hotels and multiple dining and entertainment options for your guests to enjoy. I would definitely recommend hosting your next event at The PowerHouses!

Event Rental
Outdoor Events is the preferred rental vendor for the PowerHouse venue. We have worked with the PowerHouse Staff on many weddings, corporate and non-profit events. The staff is very accommodating to your needs as well as going above and beyond to meet all expectations. The PowerHouse showcases Columbus, Ga in the perfect way by utilizing a building filled with so much history and turning it into a private event venue. PowerHouse Wedding
I had to move my wedding in August of 2020 with only a month to plan. Kaitlin at PowerHouse was SO great to work with and so helpful and accommodating since we had to plan everything in just a month. PowerHouse had perfect indoor and outdoor spaces and was so beautiful in pictures. I still have guests talk about how awesome our venue was. Overall we were very happy with our event and would highly recommend Kaitlin and PowerHouse to others!I had to move my wedding in August of 2020 with only a month to plan. Attentive staff and great venue for customizing your wedding
My husband and I are native to California and currently live in Columbus, Georgia. We were reluctant to host or wedding out here because the vast majority of our guests would be traveling from the west coast and, to be blunt, we assumed nothing out here could compare to the California coastline. Cut to us discovering Powerhouse on one of our many walks along the Chattahoochee and our minds were changed. The view of the rapids was lovely, very serene actually - just what the bride wants on her wedding day.
We rented the Upperhouse, which is the smaller of the two spaces, and only used it for bathroom access and staging on the day before. Our wedding and cocktail reception took place on the Forebay (the grass and concrete patio areas), where the only major thing we added was a tent. We had a fairly small wedding, around 40 guests (including 5 kids) and it the venue didn't feel too big, though I know it can accommodate another hundred people, easily. The coordinating staff at the parent company, WC Bradley, was responsive, helpful, and readily available. Powerhouse does have a short list of preferred vendors, but I found that they were flexible when we wanted to do something different. Something to keep in mind is that this venue is a shell of a space - no tables, chairs, or even garbage cans were provided (except in the bathrooms). I highly recommend using Jamie Keating as your caterer - he owns Epic Restaurant right next door, and was able to provide a large portion of our rented items. We would have used him for everything, but I had reserved items through another company before we committed to him and would have been out our deposit with the rental company. My husband and I are native to California and currently live in Columbus, Georgia. Daughter's Wedding
The PowerHouse was a beautiful venue for our daughter's wedding. Kaitlyn was a joy to work with and very helpful. We especially liked having access to the venue for the entire weekend so we had plenty of time for setup and take down. The setting on the river was beautiful and we could not have asked for a more amazing day!The PowerHouse was a beautiful venue for our daughter's wedding. Nature Now Cultural Arts Festival
You cannot beat this location for view & as a super unique venue. Our film festival is able to activate both buildings and the lawn with different activity options. I didn't work with the sound/audio vendor, so not sure what he would say about load in, etc. We had it decorated with rafts & kayaks, and the audience took lots of photo ops & enjoyed themselves. You cannot beat this location for view & as a super unique venue.
