We booked this venue for our private ceremony and intimate private reserved dinning room, 3 course dinner for a group of 25. The venue fee includes, the ceremony set up, chairs, food which includes; cocktails, 3 types of hors d'oeuvres, salad, main course & cake. This venue offered us several perks a beach location with a covered awning with direct view of the beach but not the worry of toes in sand or the possibility of El Nino dampening things in December and direct access to the restaurant following the ceremony as well as plenty of photo opps on the property as well as the pier. The GM of the restaurant Sea180 has been beyond accommodating every step of the way and has made the process a breeze.

Pier South provided the most amazing location for our wedding. I stumbled across the hotel when I was actually waiting to tour another venue and flipping through a bridal magazine. I've lived in San Diego my entire life and never had heard of it. There wasn't much information on the website, so I set up an appointment to tour the venue. It very newly became a Marriott and they did not have a wedding coordinator, so we did all of our wedding plans with the Sale's manager Kelsey and the Sea 180 Restaurant Manager Sheehan. We met with them many times and they worked around our busy schedules and as well as with one another amazingly, they helped us make up our minds and organize our dream wedding! We are the largest wedding they have had at their venue to date, and I cannot tell you how beautiful everything turned out. I have gotten endless complements on how well everything was done, from set up, to a welcome cocktail, to all of the food for 165 people seamlessly going out at the same time, to the cake being maintained after the wedding, to gift bags being handed to guests as the checked in. The entire hotel was so friendly and helpful and energetic they really made our wedding day something special! I would HIGHLY recommend this location to anyone planning a San Diego beach wedding, not only was it the most beautiful location where you could actually have your toes in the sand on the beach for the ceremony, then turn around and have an elegant reception, but they had very competitive prices, and delivered everything from the small to large details.
