We found Wayne online from a friend who recommended him to be our officiating pastor. He was very professional, respectable, and extremely helpful. He sent us passages from the Bible and other quotes that he researched for us that he thought we like or that would be appropriate for our ceremony and vows. He was such a joy to talk to and Zoom call with and it was an absolute pleasure and honor having him perform our ceremony. He was a great sport too as we all had to take off our shoes and walk barefoot on the beach and in the ocean to get to the spot where we decided to have the ceremony in Avila Beach, CA. I highly recommend him as he was very flexible with our schedules and available when we needed him and just such an awesome guy! He even took photos of the 4 of us and they came out wonderful! I would include a video of our wedding but since we wrote our own vows and they were personal about us I didn't want to post it but it went exactly as we had discussed and we were very happy with our decision to hire Wayne. :)One Spirit Ministries's reply:
This was a magic time for us on Avila Beach. Also the first time in over 15 years of officiating that I've taken off my shoes and socks, rolled up my pantlegs and walked to the desired location on the beach - a real blast! Debbie and Neal were gracious, friendly, and full of love - it showed every step of the way, through our co-created ceremony. I am honored they chose me to officiate them. -

Wayne Edmiston was awesome! He was kind, patient, and reassuring, especially with all my questions. Unfortunately, we had to postpone our wedding date. When I phoned Wayne to let him know, he was understanding, compassionate, and encouraging - exactly what I needed to get through that minor setback. The big day finally arrived, and he kept everything in line with professionalism, kindness, and a smile.

Wayne from One Spirit Ministries did an amazing job officiating our ceremony! He really spent the time getting to know us and our full story, and incorporated that into a very personal ceremony. Our vows and his reading went together seamlessly! We had only really talked on the phone once or twice before the ceremony, as it was a destination wedding for us. But come rehearsal, he was so kind and acted like we had known each other for years. Highly recommend Wayne!One Spirit Ministries's reply:

It was great working with Wayne!
Wayne was so easy to work with, he gave us many options so we were able to craft our ceremony to the passages that resonated with us as a couple. He was patient with us and facilitated our rehearsal wonderfully. Our ceremony was beautiful and heartfelt, exactly what we wanted!One Spirit Ministries's reply:

We were in a bind trying to find a replacement officiant for our Wedding with only a week to go! Luckily through various referrals and research, we were able to find Wayne! From the start, we could tell Wayne had a very warm personality and was easy to communicate with. As we emailed back and forth finalizing our ceremony, Wayne really let us tailor the fine details and create our ideal experience through his sermon. And on our wedding day, he arrived early and was extremely personable. He had a great sense of humor, was fun yet professional and was very well-received by our guests and family! We hired Wayne for our wedding in Nipomo and rehearsal and all I can say is I am SO thankful we hired Wayne. During the wedding planning process he would check in, send us drafts for our ceremony, email back right away. He is and was so nice and kind to work with and easy to work with! We loved how he added a sense of humor to our ceremony, he felt like a friend and eased us from any nerves. He was always there for recommendations, for any chances to the ceremony speech. Special Day in Cambria
From our first interaction with Wayne we appreciated his attention to detail and interest in wanting to learn more about us and our journey. He gave us various ideas on what to include in our Wedding Ceremony to encapsulate our story. Wayne is very responsive and on our wedding day showed up early to ensure everything went according to plan. We are very happy that Wayne officiated our wedding. We would highly recommend him. Wonderful Personal Heartfelt Officiant
We came across Wayne after a quick Google search for an officiant in the area. We planned a spontaneous elopement in a few day's time and needed someone within a month's time. His bio drew us to his page right away and he was actually the first profile we checked out and we were convinced right away that we didn't look any further! We wanted our ceremony to reflect us as a couple, our life story together, and to be told and shared by someone who could learn this in a short time and embody it to the best of their ability. We reached out to Wayne via email and he responded promptly on a Sunday morning no less! We were surprised with the quick response and eagerness on his end to work with us. It seemed too good to be true! Since we live abroad, we had to coordinate everything through email and had our first meeting via Zoom. Wayne was even more charming and warm in "person" and we were even more convinced with our choice. It felt like we had known him for years. It was so easy to share personal things with him and the cresting of our ceremony felt effortless. We felt bad for so many back and forth emails but he never complained about reading our pages long of story and information and desires and he accommodated and condensed everything into a perfect length ceremony. We had no fears for the wedding day regarding the ceremony as we trusted Wayne completely. The day of the ceremony everything unfolded beautifully. He annunciated everything clearly over the roar of the waves in the background. He gave enough oomph and humour to the ceremony to add interest without it being overdone. We couldn't have asked for a better person to be a part of our special day and make it as memorable as it was.One Spirit Ministries's reply:
