    Would 100% recommend!

We were so happy with our wedding at the NC Botanical Garden. It was a beautiful venue, with lots of green! It was also very reasonably priced. The staff were very responsive when we had any questions. Would highly recommend!

    Amazing Venue

I am so happy I chose to this location for my wedding. The staff were all friendly and easy to work with. The location and parking was great. The gardens themselves are BEAUTIFUL. It was a steal for the price, too!

    Beautiful Venue, Flexible

My husband and I very much enjoyed having our vow renewal at this venue. The blooming flowers, covered outdoor area, indoor reception area, and easy access to parking were all major factors in our choice for this venue. The AC went out the day of the event, however the staff worked with us to open the windows and let cool night air inside. Our contact was also very nice and communicative.

to be totally honest, i didn't even really consider the garden as a wedding venue.

until we went to visit. and it was perfect.
there are so many options, indoors and outdoors, and they are all fantastic. there is so much flexibility depending on what kind of wedding you want to have and all the people we worked with from the NCBG were beyond helpful and accommodating. they answered our many questions and gave great suggestions. it felt good to support a local business and even though our weather was less than stellar, we had a really beautiful event that felt like us. it was effortless and gorgeous and the garden will always hold a special place in our hearts.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Botanical Gardens, and they were lovely! It was a hot day but all of the guests were thrilled by how beautiful the grounds were. Aislinn and her team are very professional; I had replies right away whenever I asked her anything. They have had a number of weddings here and can give a lot of good advice based on this.

A couple of minor things to note -- the reception venue (if you use the auditorium) only has florescent overhead lights. So, if you want different lighting (as seen in a lot of the photos of other events there), you'll need to factor that into your cost. In addition, they do have a sound system, but they recommend either hiring a DJ or renting additional speakers to make sure the music is the right volume. We did both of these things and our wedding was 100% a success, but it is something to consider, cost-wise.

Overall I would definitely recommend the botanical gardens--both for the beautiful gardens and the friendly and responsive staff!

I loved having our wedding at the North Carolina Botanical Garden. We had an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception. The garden provided a beautiful backdrop for our ceremony and photos. Lauren and the staff there were very helpful in making sure everything went off perfectly! All our guests raved about our venue and how unique and beautiful it was!

I had a fall wedding ceremony under the breezeway and our reception was in Reeves Auditorium. I absolutely loved our day and this venue was perfect for us. Lauren Deal was so quick to respond (and I emailed her a ton) to all of my inquiries. It is a bit expensive in light of the fact that you will have to dress up the room quite a bit which makes rentals add up. I also had some anxiety about the annual sculpture show- each fall the sculptures change and there might be something new (if you have a fall wedding) at your ceremony site that you did not plan on. I wish they would not add the sculptures right in the ceremony sites.

We are so happy that we chose the NC Botanical Garden as our wedding venue. We really wanted to get married in the Forest Theatre because my husband and I met doing a show in college that we performed there, but they wouldn't schedule a wedding there during football season. We were able to pop over there for our "first look" so that it could still be a part of our special day, and then we went to the botanical gardens for the wedding and reception which was just perfect.

We picked a spot in the gardens that had a built-in arbor-like thing and beautiful foliage. There wasn't a lot of choices of areas that could fit a lot of chairs, but we decided to just have a very short ceremony and have people stand. We brought some seats for guests that were elderly or disabled but since the whole thing from walking in to "you may kiss the bride" was like 10-15 minutes nobody minded standing.

The reception area was great with a very beautiful patio area. I planned to put some fake flowers along the railings, but there were already some real plants hanging over so it was beautiful as-is! We didn't have a lot of time allotted for set-up so we didn't hang any lights and chose instead to have lighted trees on the table.

Lauren was so great to work with, and since she had just gotten married their recently she had lots of useful tips and recommendations.

She told us that using a laptop would probably get us louder music than using our ipod. We tested out the ipod though and thought it was plenty loud. MISTAKE! We forgot to account for the fact that there would be lots of people! Talking and laughing! The music was waaaaay too quiet and I wish we'd taken her advice to try a laptop instead! It was fine for the first dance and the father-daughter dance though, because everyone is watching instead of talking, so it wasn't a terrible disaster.

I recommend this as a venue for your ceremony and reception!
