  Picture Perfect

  Nicole was an absolute dream to work with. My husband and I could not have asked for a better wedding photographer. She listened to us and understood our personalities, making our entire day run so smoothly. Everything from the fine details, to the formal pictures, to those beautiful intimate and candid moments, Nicole exceeded our expectations in every way!

  Stunning photos

  Hiring Nicole was one of the best decisions we could have made for our wedding. Right from the very beginning, Nicole was friendly, communicative, and energetic. We were so happy we opted for the package which included an engagement shoot. Nicole didn't hesitate to travel to our city to take photos that were meaningful to us, even though it was over an hour from where she lives. Our engagement photos were everything we could've hoped for and it gave us the opportunity to get to know Nicole. When it came time for the wedding, Nicole created a timeline which allowed the day to flow exactly how we wanted it to. Leading up to the wedding, we touched base and went through every detail of the day and Nicole was flexible when we wanted to make certain changes. On the day of our wedding, Nicole took charge of the day in the best way. She and her assistant, Kelly, captured every photo we wanted and then some. Nicole was careful to stick to the timeline, our shot list, and eased my nerves throughout the entire day. Our wedding pictures are absolutely stunning. We cried as we looked through them and we were SO happy we chose Nicole to capture our wedding day. Each picture was so beautiful and she captured the essence of our day completely. Nicole is truly amazing at what she does and we are so lucky to have found her!!

  It was so great working with Nicole on our wedding! Our venue did not come equipped with a planner or coordinator so it was important to us that we found a day-of coordinator that we could trust. We had a fairly large wedding that required a lot of planning and attention to detail - my husband, I and our families spent a ton of time and energy over the course of the year doing just that. Nicole was so crucial in pulling the pieces together from working with our many vendors (especially the couple weeks leading up), making suggestions to and following our schedule, to making sure the day went off without a hitch. She directed and kept things moving so smoothly during our rehearsal and the day of - making sure the caterer, bar, band, photographers/videographers, buses, wedding party, families, officiant, guests, florist and more (!!) were all in the right place at the right time and that my husband and I didn't have to worry about one single thing! To me, that is so valuable. With our venue being a blank slate, we added many decoration details which our families were able to design and set-up the week before, and Nicole understood our vision and added the final touches perfectly where they needed to be. We had a beautiful day and couldn't have done it without her.

  My husband and I got married at The Hill in Hudson, NY which is a complicated venue where I had to bring everything in from decor, to tables and silverware. I had hired Nicole just to be a day of coordinator for my wedding day since the venue had no one there to run the show. I was attracted to her business based off pictures of her own wedding that she planned and fully decorated etc. Nicole and I touched base about a year before my wedding. She did way more than coordinate the day of the wedding. She helped my mom and bridesmaids with my bridal shower and had a secret meeting with them without me knowing about how they were going to setup, games to play, what to make, etc. The day of my shower she came and took all the jobs from my family so they can enjoy the party and she even helped clean up afterwards!!!! The days leading up to my wedding and weeks before she collected a list of all my vendors and their info so she could confirm things with them the week of my wedding. What a relief that was. She also met with me so we could discuss where I was in my planning and she brought up some good points to help my day run smoother. Throughout the process I sent Nicole pics of what I was making and the week before my wedding she went out and made signs for the kegs just because!!!! She even came to my rehearsal dinner to meet with the officiant and go over all of the details so that she knew the run down for the day of!!! The day of the wedding Nicole handled all the vendors and made sure everything ran smooth. She stayed after and cleaned and packed up all the decor items I had made and was the last one to leave with her assistant. I highly recommend anyone to Nicole no matter what venue you choose she will be a huge help and go above and beyond!! She is super sweet, talented, professional and helpful. You will not go wrong with choosing Nicole!

  Pick another photographer...

  Unfortunately we did not have a good experience with Nicole. From the start it was unclear who our actual photographer would be, as Nicole treats herself as a "studio". Contracts and conversations were never specific, and we were shown two obscure galleries before signing. One we liked, one we didn't. We were told the one we didn't like was based on the clients, meaning...the photos were a result of the clients being uncomfortable photographed. Fairly lame explanation. We met our photographer for an engagement shoot, who was lovely, but when we received our gallery the photos didn't feel like us at all. We were told to do some very strange things during the photo shoot, and the discomfort showed in our faces and awkward poses. I specifically asked to not be photographed from certain angles, and we were. I specifically asked for pictures of my engagement ring, which I did not get. We were very unhappy with our end result, which at the end of the day felt like the work of a beginner (while we were paying for a pro). We emailed Nicole immediately upon receiving our proofs and she didn't bother to respond to our concerns at all. I saw her active on social media and also noticed changes to our gallery (pictures deleted), but emails were not responded to until we had our Wedding Coordinator intervene more than once. When Nicole did respond, there was no empathy or remorse in correcting the issues or making us feel comfortable. In fact, the whole experience left us feeling neglected and as though Nicole had no interest in servicing us as clients. 2 months before our wedding, we terminated our contract and found a new photographer in the height of wedding season. NOT an easy thing to do. Nicole was uncommunicative, unprofessional, and added unnecessary stress to our wedding planning. I would definitely not recommend her or her services.

Per our email conversation, hearing that you were unhappy with what we provided, you we promptly refunded your wedding day balance as asked. We’d hoped that after carefully taking a look back at your full session and sending new edits that we could have changed your minds. Your session did meet our specific style that many couples are very pleased with. After sending you two sample galleries stating who would be your wedding day photographer you showed no concerns when we spoke over the phone. Choosing a photographer that meets your style is important and we try to do everything we can to make you feel your best during the time we are working together. We are sorry that we weren’t a good fit for you.
