  Perfect Wedding

  Our wedding was PERFECT at the Ardmore Mansion at Mountain View Manor. My husband and I chose the whole weekend option for our wedding. This included the rehearsal dinner, 9 rooms in the mansion for 2 nights, a breakfast the morning of our wedding, the cocktail hour, reception, and an after party. It was perfect to have our bridal party and family stay night with us at our venue. It was a fun and unique weekend wedding event.
  
  The entire planning process with Tim-the chef and manager of the property, was easy and stress free. He took care of everything. We knew that this was the place for us when Tim mentioned that none of our guests would leave hungry and this was 100% true. Tim listened to what we wanted and made it happen. We used Tim’s recommended flower vendor-Floral Cottage and our experience was amazing. We also used Krissy for our cake who Tim recommended and our cake was both delicious and beautiful. We rented some items and he was able to incorporate them with no issue and gave the items back to us in perfect condition to be returned. Tim kept any items that we brought (i.e. guest book, champagne glasses, decorations, etc.) organized and ready for us to take home on Sunday. He took care of absolutely everything so we could just enjoy our weekend.
  
  The Mansion was just breathtakingly beautiful and an elegant setting for a wedding reception. Guests could not stop talking about how beautiful it was. We also want to emphasize the food. The food was amazing. We got so many compliments on how delicious everything was. The staff was polite and attentive to our guests and we had the most magical time.

  Wedding of our Dreams!

  My husband and I had our reception at Mountain View Manor on December 4, 2021, and we cannot rave enough about this venue! Tim's customer service is unmatched, and all of the recommended vendors are outstanding! I cannot stress how EASY Tim made the planning process. He was always calm and collected, and was willing to incorporate our specific details with ease. I was blown away when I walked into MVM after our ceremony (we were married at a local church) and saw the stunning holiday decor and organization that Sue from Floral Cottage arranged in coordination with Tim. Our guests were beyond impressed with the food, decor, and flow of the evening. We could not have asked for a better night. Thank you for everything MVM! It was the wedding of our dreams!

  Best wedding venue ever!

  We legitimately considered having an event every year because our wedding was so amazing here! Every time we go to another event at a different venue we are reminded of how much we loved Mountain View! From initial meetings to contract signing to the weekend of our wedding, Tim was responsive, detail oriented, accommodating, reassuring and executed a perfect event for us! We knew Tim had our best interest at heart and this made wedding planning much less stressful. We chose this venue because we wanted a weekend getaway wedding a little outside of Northern New Jersey and the location, manor, food, and staff made everything about the weekend (despite rain and cold that weekend) the best day we could have asked for. We especially recommend DJ Ralph!

  Everything was so easy

  We were married here in August of 2019. The journey leading up to our wedding at Mountain View Manor began with extensive internet searches for potential venues. We knew that we wanted a unique location that allowed for nature’s beauty to shine on the day with a bill that wouldn’t force us to move in with our parents. Tim was a giant reason why we chose Ardmore mansion and had such a wonderful experience here. He showed us the venue, then showed my parents the venue, then showed both sets of my in-laws the venue all separately. He was extremely accommodating and understanding of the pressure we felt to make this day perfect.
  
  We knew we had found the right place after exploring the grounds and mansion and talking to Tim about the menu. When we told him we wants to have chicken parmigiana on the menu, he immediately said “I’ve got a great sauce!”. Though we wanted fairly traditional ceremony and reception, the ability to let our personalities shine through and to customize the details was huge. None of our vendors put us into a box, insisted that we did something in a particular way or pressured us. They advised us, gave us honest pricing, answered our questions and allowed us to think about what was important to us.
  
  Our wedding day was beautiful. All of the vendors that Tim recommended were true professionals. Lauren, our day of coordinator, knew when it was time to get everyone in line and took control of the day so that we didn’t have to. She worked with our DJ (Stylez Entertainment) so that the music was tailored to each upcoming moment and that the announcements were made at exactly the right time. We trusted Tim and the vendors that he recommended to read the room and really cater to the mood of our guests. Everybody went above and beyond. We have no regrets, only special moments that we will relive again and again.

  A literal dream come true

  I could not have picked a better venue than MountainView Manor, and I mean that with everything in me. I worked with Tim leading up to the day, he reassured me constantly about the big day, made sure the smallest details were taken care of and really out did himself since the day we met with him. My wedding was planned for April 2020, meaning it had to be rescheduled due to COVID, and Tim made sure we had a new date planned and all my vendors were on the same page within the hour of that decision. The day of, I worked with Lauren, the maître d'. Being able to feel like it was a friend helping me through rehearsal, the ceremony and the reception was a huge blessing. Through the commotion of the reception ending and clean up, I had the chance to let them know as a group that they are such a huge reason this day went PERFECTLY. I also had the chance to talk with some wait staff and bartenders and let them know how much it meant to me. From early planning, to rescheduling, the FOOD (the food was amazing, shout out to Tim and Rob), the ceremony, the reception, the after party, the day after, there is not one thing I could think of on MountainView Manors end that wasn't absolutely incredible. You get so much included with a wedding here, and it goes so much deeper than the day of. I will forever be grateful for this team, the memories they helped create and I hope I get to attend weddings here in the future!

  This is the venue that you deserve!

  My wedding was on October 13th of this year and it was magical. The view was gorgeous, my guests commented on how lovely the location was, how delicious the food was and the how gracious the service was. We are from NYC and I was skeptical about the distance of the manor and whether or not my guests would mind traveling but once we met Tim who is the house manager and chef of the manor and when we saw the staircase in the front we knew that this is where our wedding should be. Tim is honest, straightforward, accommodating and precise. He made my husband and I feel at ease and stress free. Lauren, our maitre'd was the best. She kept us on point when it came to timing, anything pressing we needed, she was awesome! Our bartender was awesome! He was willing to stay for our afterparty which we were clearly too tired for, I hope he left with a hefty tip!. I truly enjoyed Mountainview Manor and I am pretty sure you will too!

  MountainView Manor is a beautiful venue that all of my guests loved! It was so nice to be the only wedding on the property and there is so much space outside that kids enjoyed running around and my guests enjoyed playing games on the lawn. The garden is a romantic place to have a ceremony and begin your life as a married couple! Tim made absolutely delicious food and the service to my guests was very quick- no one was waiting for their meal! He also answers any questions you have via email very quick- which is a relief for a first time bride! The bartenders not only served my guests, they also joined us on the dance floor and taught us how to move to some of the songs- it was so much fun! Lauren, the day of coordinator, was fantastic and made my day as the bride so easy! The best part is that you and some guests can stay the night in the mansion and have an after party or a relaxed sleepover! We had 100 guests in the main mansion with a full bar and the cost was only $110 per plate- which is great for a reasonable wedding! If I could do it all again- I absolutely would -at the exact same venue!
  
  Ellie from Elliegant Cakes makes delicious desserts! We decided to have cupcakes instead of a cake and we received many compliments and there were none left!
  
  DJ Productions in Milford, PA was reasonably priced and made our wedding fun! They were easy to communicate with leading up to the day!
  
  Quality Bus Service is great to help bring your guests to and from a hotel- we chose the Best Western Inn in Matamoras, PA. It was a great price and they delivered my guests to my venue with plenty of time to spare!

  Better than we ever dreamed!!

  Our wedding at Mountain View Manor was spectacular!! MVM is an old, beautifully restored mansion with a gorgeous outdoor ceremony space, old-fashioned reception room, and stunning views… And it even has guests rooms on the second floor for family and friends to stay. Throughout the entire planning process, we dealt exclusively with Tim. Since I live on Long Island and the venue is about 3 hours away from me, we did most of our communicating through email and by phone. Tim was very responsive and always got back to me with answers to my questions very quickly, often in the same day. I had made several suggestions / requests in the months leading up to my wedding, and Tim was receptive to all of them and he made sure that everything was absolutely perfect for me and my guests. In addition to handling the business end of things, Tim is also the chef! He promised large portion sizes of high quality gourmet meals for our guests, and when the wedding weekend came, that is exactly what he prepared.
  
  We chose to turn our wedding into a weekend long celebration. On Friday night, we held a buffet dinner for our closest family members that were sleeping at the mansion with us for the weekend. After dinner, MVM put out additional appetizers and snacks and we had the rest of our guests join us for a “Welcome Gathering.” It was so much fun! Saturday was our actual wedding. As Tim promised, the day went very smoothly. His staff handled everything for us and we didn’t have to think about a thing! The meals provided were out of this world. Everything was fresh, delicious, and, as promised, the portions were huge! On Sunday morning, we hosted a brunch for our family. Tim prepared this as well, and it was the perfect way to wrap up the best weekend of our lives.
  
  Our wedding would not have been complete without our key vendors, who we hired based off of Tim’s recommendations. DJ Ralph, who was wonderful and allowed us to customize our entire playlist. Ellie from Elliegant Cakes made us a mouthwatering wedding day breakfast as well as the most amazing wedding cake! And Sue from Floral Cottage Weddings blew us away with her gorgeous arrangements!
  
  Overall, our wedding at MVM was better than we ever could have imagined. Friends of ours have even said that it is by far the best wedding they have ever been to. Tim helped us plan out three major events and everything was wonderful. He made sure to offer varied menu options throughout the weekend so that our guests weren’t getting repeat dishes, he customized everything to meet our needs, and he even lightheartedly told me that he wasn’t going to cook for me if I wouldn’t smile, as he could see I was getting nervous. Our advice to future couples is to follow Tim’s input and don’t worry about a thing - he won’t steer you wrong and you will not be disappointed with what he delivers!

  We love mvm!

  Rest assured you will be well taken care of at Mountain View Manor. Tim was awesome to work with and made everything very easy! Our Day was perfect! No issues what so ever. The food + Drinks were fantastic, everything ran on schedule and we were able to fully enjoy our day!   Amazing wedding at MVM

  We had an amazing wedding experience at MVM. Tim and his staff made us feel right at home. It was everything we wanted in our wedding weekend and more. The food was incredible and the accommodations were perfect. It was nice that we were able to have the entire mansion to ourselves for the weekend. Our maitre d, Lauren was extremely helpful and made our wedding everything that we could have imagined.
  It was nice to have our rehearsal dinner at the mansion the night before and stay in the mansion with our close friends and family. So many of our guests told us they had a great time and loved the food at the wedding.
  We highly recommend the MVM for your wedding!

  Mountain View Manor truly is a hidden gem just 2 hours from New York City. My wife and I spend a lot of time in the area during the summers and were thrilled to find this hidden gem while looking for wedding venues. Immediately we fell in love with the venue space and the wedding coordinator/ chef Tim. The space is absolutely beautiful and extremely flexible no matter the size of your wedding. Tim sold us the moment he spoke about the food. The options are endless and highly customizable. The day after the wedding all our guest couldn't stop raving about the food.
  Mountain View Manor does a great job of making your day special and treating you like you're their only customer. They are the opposite of a wedding factory venue. They are continuously in contact and highly flexible when it comes to special request. If you're are looking to have a wedding in this area we strongly recommend considering Mountain View Manor as the place to host your special day.

  Wedding of a lifetime

  Our wedding was this past May 2019, the day was beautiful and the people at Mountain View Manor was amazing. Anything we needed they did, even things we didn't know we needed they had read for us. They worked with us right from the beginning to when we left the next day after our wedding.

  Guests raved about such a unique experience!

  We were told by so many of our guests this was the most unique experience they've had for a wedding venue and raved about it's magical vibe and amazing food! We had the time of our life and Tim knocked the food out of the park! He was willing to let us chose the menu and he cooked various worldwide cuisines and with perfection! Was a huge highlight to the wedding, perfect choice if you're foodies and not a fan of typical wedding food.
  
  We had 175 guests and it seemed like the perfect amount for the Barn. We used the Ukranian church, St Volodymyr, across the street for the ceremony and had our guests walk between the three buildings. The walkways are tree lined next to a large open lawn and everyone loved the experience of taking the brief walks to the next part of the party. We stayed in the Manor's 8 bedrooms for the weekend and had a great time being able to hang with all of our friends each night on the big elevated porch. They have the florist and cake baker ready for you and both are also highly recommended. Sue, the Florist also knocked it out of the park.
  
  MVM is highly recommended by us and our guests for a sincere hard working team that knows how to run a nice unique wedding experience. The property is serene so for us, as a Brooklyn couple it was exactly what we were looking for out of the city.

  MVM is Excellent

  This was the perfect venue for my sons wedding. It is everything him and his bride wanted in a venue. The staff was great. We had an amazing weekend. Staying at the manor made the celebration an entire weekend of celebrating.

  Best Decision we Made!

  Mountain View Manor provided my wife and I with our dream wedding. From the moment we first stepped in and met Tim we knew we had found a truly special venue. Tim was patient and so incredibly kind, he allowed us to visit multiple times so that we could plan our special day. Orest got involved and made sure every detail was taken into account. They helped us every step of the way, their correspondence was swift and comprehensive. They took away so much of our stress.
  
  On the day of our wedding, Lauren the matradee was an absolute rockstar. The entire staff was incredible, the bartenders even went out onto the dance floor and danced during some of the songs which was AMAZING. The enthusiasm of the staff and the fact that they were having fun made the night even more special.
  
  The food is out of this world. Tim is a master, we had so many compliments about the food. I can’t emphasize this enough, the food is INCREDIBLE! This venue offered us a tasting where they served us EVERYTHING so we could make an informed decision on our menu.
  
  There is no venue like this in the world, everyone there cares about what they do and they will be there for you every step of the way. Everyone at our wedding told us it was one of if not the best weddings they attended.
  
  If you are considering this venue I guarantee you cannot go wrong. They are the best people I have ever had the pleasure of working with.   Pandemic Wedding

  With all the chaos going on in the world MVM was so great with helping us still have the wedding of our dream Lauren was amazing and so nice! Tim did an excellent job with the food everyone loved it! And I can't forget the wonderful staff and our dancing bartender Johnathan who was soooo cool highly recommend and thank you so much for everything you guys did!

  Had our wedding on October 21st 2017 and highly recommend this venue. To be concise:
  1) The venue is beautiful and unique- The grounds are amazing and inside the mansion the antique furnishings and stairway make the inside extremely photogenic. The outside patios are also perfect for the cocktail hour. I had at least 20 people ask me how I had found this place
  2) You can customize so many things. From the ceremony to the food- we were able to really customize our wedding due to the flexibility the venue offers. Tim, the chef, even made a custom vegetarian meal for us as well as accommodating several guest allergies.
  3) It can be a one stop shop for the lazy bride.
  MVM has a preferred vendors list that all work together like a finely tuned machine.
  We picked our own DJ but we used Floral Cottage, Elliegant Cakes, and their transportation company. It was so easy to book everyone and since we lived far away, they would coordinate to all be there on our visits up so we wouldn't have to make multiple trips.
  4) The MVM staff and vendors are great. Orest is no nonsense, organized and efficient and I had no worries going into the day as I knew everything was under control. Ellie from Elliegant Cakes and Sue from Floral Cottage are amazingly sweet and made beautiful flowers and delicious cakes ( i ate my cake topper the next day as I couldn't resist eating more of the cake!) But the real amazing part of the staff for me was when the glitches did eventually happen,they went out of their way to help- including me forgetting to get someone a boquet and Sue making a last minute arrangement to Orest, the day of the wedding offered to personally go pick up some guests that were stuck at the train station after they couldn't get a taxi.

We chose to stay at the manor the night before the wedding, and we are so glad we did! I can't stress enough how happy we were with this choice...The manor truly felt like we were at home, which made the morning wedding preparations essentially stress-free. I was really able to enjoy the whole morning leading up to the ceremony, and take in every minute. Everything just fell into place (thanks to the professional, amazing staff and vendors). Let me just say, Orest's list of associated vendors is amazing! Tim (the executive chef) made an endless flow of hors d'oeuvres, and delicious menu options that every guest loved. We used DJ Flow...and received countless complements from our guests! Our wedding cake by Ellie, and morning breakfast spread was not only delicious, but everything I wanted it to be! She was even sweet enough to keep an eye on my rowdier guests to keep them out of trouble (including my father! haha)...and Sue at Floral Cottage made me feel comfortable day 1! She knew exactly what I wanted, even if I couldn't explain myself properly. She even set up complementary center pieces for my rehearsal dinner, just because!! If I had to plan my wedding all over again, I would choose Mountain View Manor EVERY time!! Anyone currently planning a wedding, please do yourself a favor, and choose Mountain View Manor!! You will have such a unique wedding experience, that you and your guests will never forget! I was told by several people that the filet mignon was the best they'd ever had. The maitre D, Lauren, is amazing at her job. She made sure the whole day ran smoothly and took care of all the day-of details for us. The bartenders and servers were quick and professional. My guests never waited long for a drink at the bar. The grounds are beautiful and meticulously maintained, and the indoor spaces we're clean and comfortable. I recommend this venue for anyone planning a wedding or other event!

  My husband and I had our wedding there Sept 2, 2017 and I could not have asked for more. Lauren helped keep everything organized and flow beautifully--she was AMAZING. Tim was the cook and he made everything so delicious and was great with any menu alterations I requested. The servers were all nice and respectful. It was so nice not to have to worry about anything.
  And the place is BEAUTIFUL.

  I just had the most amazing wedding at MountainView Manor! Planning every detail of a 180+ person wedding has been one of the most stressful things I've had to do yet. With that said, anything and everything revolved around MountainView and their preferred vendor list was not one of them!
  The moment we got there we were greeted by not only Orest but our maitre d' Lauren, who got us that much needed first glass of water (followed by anything else I needed). She seemed to always find me right when I needed her and I truly appreciate having her there. All of the staff were above and beyond. You could tell that the entire place was a "well oiled machine"
  Tim is a magician in the kitchen. All of the food was to die for from the moment we got there until the moment we left the after party. You could tell that only the best ingredients were used and the love and pride he has for his work. Also they were on top of their game! In under 30 minutes the entire ballroom of people had their food.
  Ralph our DJ kept the party going all night. I had so many compliments of how good the music was. Every song flowed seamlessly into the next, and a bit of everything was played.
  Susan at floral cottage is a mind reader. I love flowers but am not an expert or decisive when it comes to any of the types and designs. I told her a color palette of colors to work with and she somehow made exactly what I had envisioned and more. She made sure flowers were dropped off to me early enough so that when my photographer showed up we had the bouquets.
  Ellie at Elliegant Cakes was phenomenal, she made baskets for the bathrooms which was a lifesaver because walking to the ballroom my bustle broke from being stepped on. There were a ton of safety pins to come to my rescue (as well as anything else you could think of). She made sure I had goodie bags of dessert sent home

  "Best wedding ever been to-" we had read this in other reviews of Moutain View Manor & then were told this by many of our guests; including ones with their own successful event hall/restaurant/catering business of many years!
  Everyone has remarked on how good the food was, the beauty of the mansion, including surrounding area & how enjoyable the day was in general-absolutely perfect!
  It is truly an enchanting place which still feels more like an elegant family estate rather than just another "event hall/venue".
  Being that they dedicate their entire attention & grounds to only one event per day means your wedding will be memorable.
  Communication with Orest, the owner, was always prompt, professional and courteous. My husband and I appreciated very much Orest's attention to detail and helpful suggestions for wonderful vendors!
  We would absolutely use Mountain View Manor again and highly recommend this unique place- it absolutely must be seen in person.

  "Best wedding ever been to-" we had read this in other reviews of Moutain View Manor & then were told this by many of our guests; including ones with their own successful event hall/restaurant/catering business of many years!
  Everyone has remarked on how good the food was, the beauty of the mansion, including surrounding area & how enjoyable the day was in general-absolutely perfect!
  It is truly an enchanting place which still feels more like an elegant family estate rather than just another "event hall/venue".
  Being that they dedicate their entire attention & grounds to only one event per day means your wedding will be memorable.
  Communication with Orest, the owner, was always prompt, professional and courteous. My husband and I appreciated very much Orest's attention to detail and helpful suggestions for wonderful vendors!
  We would absolutely use Mountain View Manor again and highly recommend this unique place- it absolutely must be seen in person.

  I'm just going to start off by saying thank you. Thank you Orest for working with me on absolutely every aspect of our wedding and being so incredibly kind and professional. Tim, your food was heaven. There was absolutely not a single thing I would change about anything you cooked. You are a complete master of your craft. Oksana, you are a saint. You were so patient with our groomsmen who I know are crazy. Whatever you get paid, it should be double.
  
  Ok, so for the review. Get. Married. Here. I am extremely detail oriented and the staff at Mountainview Manor was unbelievable with making sure everything was set up just as I pictured it. I can't say enough good things about this venue. I had prepared myself for something to go wrong, as it does with most weddings, but nothing did. Our wedding was perfect. I still can't believe that. The staff made sure we didn't worry about anything.

If you are looking to have an unforgettable wedding, or any other event, this is absolutely where I would go. I can't say enough good things about Mountainview Manor. I'm still floating on cloud nine about everything. The staff is just unbelievable. We will never forget how hard everyone worked to make our day special and you all have such a special place in our hearts for everything you did to make our first day as husband and wife perfect.   Thank you Orest and everyone else! Our wedding day couldn't have been more relaxed and beautiful. Orest and his staff took complete care of us from start to finish. We knew from the moment we visited it was the place for us. Our wedding and ceremony were at the Ardmore Mansion, not the ballroom. We also had our ceremony at the stone walls, instead of on the stairs. The interior is classic without being overbearingly ornate. Orest answered every one of my emails with patience and clear instruction. This is a family owned business and you can tell they truly love what they do.
  
  Tim, the head chef, set up a call with us to go over our menu. Some of our bridal party and guests are vegetarian and he worked with us to make some apps and the caesar dressing edible for them. All of the food is fresh made. No outside catering. We heard from so many of our guests how great the food was. The filet of sole stuffed with crabmeat is actually what my husband and I both ordered for ourselves, instead of maybe sharing two different things, it was that good. Our package had a sundae bar to go along with the cake for desert. The cake is made by Elliegant Cakes. Ellie was a joy to work with, and the finished cake was delicious. She also set up non-alcoholic drinks for our guests, as well as made food for the bridal party while we were getting ready.
  
  Every vendor we used was recommended by Orest. Sue at Floral Cottage did a wonderful job, as well as Ralph: DJ Flow. We also used The Studio for our Photo Booth and Jennifer Manzi for photography. All of the vendors, Mountain View Manor included, work together so much that it's like you are dealing with a family.
  
  I highly recommend this venue. It's beautiful, classic, and laid back all at once. You will not be treated like a number. Nor will you feel pressured at any time. I had a few people tell me it was the most fun they had at a wedding, and I'm pretty sure they meant it.
