  Modern Entertainment came at a high recommendation from several of the vendors we used for our wedding. And we were not disappointed. After the wedding we received numerous compliments from our guests on how great the DJ was. Modern Entertainment made the transitions throughout the ceremony and reception go smooth and made sure that we knew that they had everything covered so we had no need to worry about anything. Even when we had one hiccup before the wedding date they were extremely flexible and made sure that everything went according to plan. As for the music itself, we gave the DJ free reign as to what to play and he did a wonderful job reading the crowding and using some fun ways to get people on the dance floor.

  Super awesome DJ, did everything that I asked for. Announced all events (dances, toasts, dinner, ect.) Was energetic and friendly. Really happy!

  We decided to book this DJ when we attended a friends wedding and liked everything that they did. The contract we were given was large and intensive but worth it! I was not required to have it all completed before our meeting as we went through all points of it. The DJ we worked with mostly was Tim Updyke, and he made me feel comfortable and taken care of. If there was a song I wanted to hear during the reception, I went and asked, it was played. There were many people at our reception that I never saw dance before and they danced at my wedding! The music was on point and they made sure to keep the reception flowing along. They are worth the booking and will make sure to take care of you!

  Modern Entertainment was a DJ and wedding planner all in one! The expertise our vendor had with the location of our wedding helped us tremendously. He was able to tell us which layout worked best based on our seating arrangement and what had worked well with past weddings. I didn't realize how important a DJ was for the pace of the day until our wedding. Our DJ was great at keeping things on track, keeping us on time and making sure there were no lulls. He was organized, professional and fun! The dance floor was full the whole night and he was able to play everything that was requested on a whim. I would highly, highly recommend Modern Entertainment!

  This is a great company who provided exceptional service! We were beyond happy that we chose them as our DJ for our wedding. They were able to keep our guests dancing and having a good time. I would definitely recommend them for your DJ service!

  I am not married yet but attended a wedding Modern Entertainment worked in May of 2015, and the DJ was awesome!! Planning my wedding will be easy with Modern Entertainment as they work closely with a photography company (Wildflower Studios)! I have also been to other events hosted by Modern Entertainment and they always do a phenomenal job.

  Justin (the DJ) was very professional, and provided excellent entertainment for the guests. He was also flexible when my dad mentioned (while we were at the reception) doing the anniversary dance , and he managed to make it work!

  Tim from Modern Entertainment was awesome!!! He was our DJ for our wedding on the west side of the state (we are from the east side of the state). He has everything ready and organized before we got there with zero stress on me through the whole thing!!! I got to dance the night away just like I wanted to. Not once did I leave the dance floor because of the awesome music that Tim kept playing!

  These DJ's never had an empty dance floor....they played a great mix of music that made everyone happy! We would use them again in a heart beat!!

  Modern Entertainment was awesome to work with!! Very professional and nice! Nick L the owner was very nice about helping us switch our dates around and working with us! At the reception they kept the party going all night and everybody was dancing and having a great time!! They were awesome dj's and I would hire them again if I needed to!!! :)

They kept our reception running so smoothly. They had people out on the floor who haven't danced in YEARS! Very interactive with our guests, friends and families!   WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! The first thing we wanted for our wedding was a Dj that could keep things going and ENTERTAIN the guests and us. We wanted a Master of Ceremonies/ DJ combo essentially. ME was amazing from the moment we got in contact with them. Very professional, kept in touch, and knowledgeable with how to handle your wedding or event. Once you book them you just have to meet a week before to go everything ( don't get worried, they handle everything so smoothly. ). We spent almost 1.5 hrs going through the type of night we wanted from our DJ. TOM was our DJ, and simply amazing. My husband and I wanted a PAARRRTYY at our wedding and Tom truly delivered, but I have a feeling he would be perfect for any type of atmosphere. He had everyone's music request (even a last minute GRiZ introduction song that was JUST released), kept us on track for the whole night, and had great suggestions for us. I couldn't say enough good things. THANK YOU!!!
