  Modern Bride is the best!

  Rachel was AMAZING! I told her the style I had in mind and the budget and all the dresses she pulled met the criteria. I didn't feel pressured or rushed and everyone else was very kind and friendly. I would recommend this bridal shop over and over again! Thank you ladies!

  Modern Bride- Hanna is the best!

  I bought my dress from Modern Bride on 9/25/23. Hanna was my consultant and she was so wonderful. I had an hour and a half appointment starting at 11:00, but didn’t leave until 2:00 because I was trying to make sure my dress was really the one! Hanna never rushed me, let me think out loud what my worries were, and really helped me focus in on the vision of my dress that was in my head. I brought in pictures and Hanna pulled several dresses that exactly fit the pictures. Turns out once they were on me, I wanted something completely different! Hanna didn’t skip a beat, went back to the drawing board and found several new dresses that hit on what I was looking for. She made me feel comfortable while trying on dress after dress, and was so knowledgeable, knowing what questions to ask to truly get at what I liked on one dress compared to another. She remembered what I had said from dress to dress, and picked up on details like when she noticed, “You said you LOVED this one,” or “You said you wished that one had more sparkle.” What finally made me say yes was when she had me close my eyes and said, “Ok, now picture yourself walking down the aisle to your fiancé…” and then the happy tears came– I said, “I guess this is my dress!” Lastly, the dress I finally chose had something I wanted altered, and Hanna confidently knew just who to suggest for that work to get done. (Modern Bride does alterations, but for the specific alteration I wanted, it wasn’t in their realm). Thank you to Modern Bride, and thank you so much to Hanna. My first and only bridal shop I went to, and I can’t wait for my dress to arrive in February!

  Wonderful Experience

  I had an amazing experience with Hanna my consultant. She helped me find my dress which I was excited to say yes to my dress!! But also had wonderful suggestions for accessories as well as picked out the perfect dress for my daughter who is my maid of honor. I highly recommend Hanna at Modern Bride & Formal Shop.

  Perfect Experience!

  Such a wonderful experience!!! My attendant Courtney was the best! She listened to exactly what style I wanted, but could tell I hadn't fallen in love with any of them like I should have. She then brought me in a "wild card" dress and from the moment I put it on, I couldn't imagine a more perfect dress for me.
  I felt confident with the seamstress's knowledge and Courtney's advice on what size to get and what hem to order. ( I am a petite bride, 5ft tall.) They had no problem accommodating my stature which was a huge relief to me.
  I felt all the staff there was incredibly professional and supportive. They have a huge dress selection which is exactly what you want when looking for the perfect dress.
  Thank you Modern Bride and Courtney for a perfect experience I will never forget!

  Best Bridal Shop in New Hampshire!

  My family and I can't rave enough about our experience with Deb! After a poor experience in the morning with another local shop, Deb went above and beyond the moment we walked into Modern Bride! Deb was so genuine and knowledgeable with the dresses in stock and was sure to inquire about my look I wanted to achieve, and budget for my wedding dress. She was quick to pull more than 10 gowns and listened to my feedback as I tried them on, helping me find the dress of my dreams. Even though they were busy, the staff that day was also so kind in coming over to congratulate me when I said "yes!" Brides, put Modern Bride first on your list to find your wedding gown - trust me it's the best experience in New Hampshire handsdown!

  Hands down, best around

  I recently purchased by dress at Modern Bride and I honestly cannot say enough good things. They squeezed me in with very little notice given and were incredibly flexible working around my schedule. The dress selection was amazing and had so many varieties. I worked with Kassie who was absolutely amazing!! It took her just 4 dresses for find the perfect one for me. She was very honest, caring, and made the entire experience so easy! She was very responsive to the things I did and did not like about each dress I tried on and each dress was better than the one before. There were 3 other brides in the store at the same time but it was not crowded or chaotic at all. I would not recommend anywhere else!

  The best wedding dress experience

  The folks at Modern Bride were flexible and supportive as I tried on many different styles of dresses, and were happy to grab all sorts of styles for me to see. They are so friendly and welcoming, I would highly recommend paying them a visit!

  The team at Modern Bride was so helpful every time I went in. I brought four girls with me for shopping and the team made sure to pull dresses that I liked as well as mixed in some styles that my girls mentioned. From shopping to my first and final fitting, they were always so positive and happy to see me smiling! My husband and his groomsmen also rented their tux’s through Jim’s Formal Wear at Modern Bride. My husband and I met with Brian, the Jim’s representative, and he was very attentive to detail. Brian was able to see the dress that I had ordered and made sure to color match everything. Brian helped with measurements up until the week prior and helped navigate ordering with our out of state groomsmen. One shirt was much too large for a groomsmen and Brian got a new shirt ordered and shipped next day for pick up. The shirt fit much better and no other ordering issues were had. I could not recommend Modern Bride any more for all of your wedding party attire!

  The best place to find a dress!

  I went to Modern Bride to look at wedding dresses with my mom and sisters this weekend and had such a great experience! The staff was so friendly and the facility was very organized and clean. I had the pleasure of working with Hanna and she so sweet and attentive the entire time. I highly recommend this bridal shop to any bride looking for their dress!

  Best place to find a dress!

  I had the best experience at Modern Bride. My attendant was Jules and she was AMAZING. She was so sweet and helpful. She did such a great job finding dresses that fit my vision (and also some unexpected dresses that I loved too). The experience was so fun and low pressure! They were so accommodating to let me come back the next day to try on the two dresses I was deciding between. Jules brought a few other dresses out and ended up surprising me with what was the perfect dress. I could not be happier with my experience and highly recommend Modern Bride!

  My experience at Modern Bride was absolutely fantastic. I had Danielle assisting me and she was spot-on in picking out dresses that flattered me and were the style and material that I wanted. I was on a budget and nervous that I wouldn't be able to find anything that I liked within my price range, but she was so knowledgeable and I found the perfect dress only 4 dresses into my appointment. I highly recommend Modern Bride!

  Incredible personal service!!!

  I am getting married next year and just wanted to simply pop in to look at some dresses and start getting an idea of what I liked. Due to COVID, the store was not allowing brides to peruse the dresses….but I got so much more! Hanna was at the front desk and she took me in for an impromptu appointment. She was friendly and attentive, asked great questions to get at my interests. She was incredibly nice and very knowledgeable-we had a lot of fun! I am an older bride to be and cannot express enough how much I appreciated her time and how she made the process not feel intimidating at all. If you want caring and personal service, plus a great selection of dresses, definitely check this place out!!!

  Professional, Responsive, Receptive to Feedback, Beautiful Selection of Dresses

  Everyone at Modern Bride was such a joy to work with, especially Renee. Like most brides, I walked in thinking I wanted one thing, but said I was "open to trying other styles". Renee brought me something that was the opposite of what I thought I wanted, and when I put it on - It was THE dress. The dress required a lot of alterations in the shoulders and hemming due to the length and her work is absolute perfection. I felt like such a princess on my wedding day, which is a feeling I never thought I'd had. They have such a large selection of dresses and what meant the most to me is that Renee was willing to work in the budget I provided and was so respectful about it. Every time I went in for a fitting, Renee made me feel so confident and happy in the dress and it was such a positive experience! I will recommend Modern Bride to anyone looking for THE dress!

  What a wonderful spot! Taylor was so patient with me since I must have tried on over 20+ dresses over 2 appts and she was so thoughtful and caring through it all. The alterations were done seamlessly and I loved everything about my experience with them! I would recommend them to anyone getting married near NH!

  This place is truly amazing, I can't recommend it enough! I went to a few places to browse for wedding dresses, but Modern Bride was not only the place where I bought my wedding dress from, but it was where I felt most comfortable. I went on two separate occasions & had the pleasure of working with Hanna! By the time I bought my dress, I felt like Hanna was part of my bride squad. I don't know how to thank her

  My mom was not able to go with me because she lives in Puerto Rico, so I ended up going to my second fitting by myself.
  Hanna actually held my phone while I face-timed my mom, so she could show her the dresses I tried on. She also waited for me to translate my mom's questions, and at one point, brought the main seamstress out (who is AMAZING) to further answer questions about my dress before I officially bought it!
  Again, such a wonderful experience! I am eternally grateful to Hanna and the team for helping me fine the perfect dress ❤️

  I had Debbie as a consultant. She came highly recommended by my cousin who got her wedding dress here. I am so happy that she was available! She made me feel everything I think a bride should feel when picking out a dress! I was concerned that I was going to feel rushed or pressured into just buying a dress even if it wasn’t what I wanted, Debbie never, not once, made me feel that way. Every dress I put on she asked what I liked or didn’t and went and found the most perfect dress that I couldn’t say no to! It was such a fun experience, and to be able to say “YES” felt incredible!
  If you are in the market for a dress or tux I highly recommend Modern Bride & Formal Shop. I’m sure all the consultants are fantastic, but Debbie was professional, fun, and super knowledgeable and I highly recommend having her.

I was concerned that I was going to feel rushed or pressured into just buying a dress even if it wasn’t what I wanted, Debbie never, not once, made me feel that way. Every dress I put on she asked what I liked or didn’t and went and found the most perfect dress that I couldn’t say no to! It was such a fun experience, and to be able to say “YES” felt incredible!
  If you are in the market for a dress or tux I highly recommend Modern Bride & Formal Shop. I’m sure all the consultants are fantastic, but Debbie was professional, fun, and super knowledgeable and I highly recommend having her.

  The absolute best!

  From the minute I walked in Michayla’s energy and professionalism made me feel so comfortable! She was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what I was looking for! She made me feel at ease even when I was so indecisive and LOVED mostly all the dresses I tried on. I decided to go back for another appointment and specifically requested Michayla. I was able to say yes to the dress last night and I couldn’t be happier!

  Modern Bride was my first appointment of the wedding dress shopping weekend and I am SO glad they were the first, they set the bar very high! They were timely on opening and were so friendly and welcoming and the entire store was so clean! Courtney was assigned to me and I will never be able to say enough good things about her, I absolutely LOVED her. She put my anxiety at ease and truly listened to my thoughts on what I liked and what I didn't like and offered her thoughts on where to start. After leaving for the day and going to the other appointments, no other shop measured up to Modern Bride. I ended up going back on Monday to try them on again. When I went back to try on the bottom two Courtney let me know she wouldn't be there but Michayla helped me and she was another AMAZING staff member and had everything ready to try on when I arrived and answered all my little questions about the dresses. I absolutely loved the one I chose and I would recommend every bride look no further for a bridal shop as Modern Bride is the absolute best out there! Thank you thank you thank you to the staff at Modern Bride for such a wonderful experience!!!!

By only asking me a few questions, she knew exactly the kind of style I was going for. She picked out several incredible dresses and made me feel so comfortable the entire time. When I tried on my dream dress, there were tears all around the room. We all knew it! I decided to think on it overnight and came back the next day and said YES! Not only was the dress perfect, Machayla made the experience so special and I am extremely grateful for everything she did. I would HIGHLY recommend Modern Bride to anyone who wants to find their dream wedding dress and if you want to have a blast, I suggest requesting Machayla to be your bridal sylist!!

  Amazing experience

  Recently purchased my wedding dress from Modern Bride in Bedford NH and the experience was nothing but amazing! Michayla Hernden was great! From the moment we met her she made me feel comfortable! She did not pressure me into anything and truly listened to what I wanted! Would highly recommend Modern Bridal!

  Dream Dress!

  My time at Modern Bride was a dream come true. Very smooth, all options where brought to me with very little wait time. Everything was very organized, everyone was very complimentary and the options were endless. My whole wedding experience was made that day. I was able to find the dress of my dreams and search further into my wedding as I looked for suits and brides maid dresses. I felt so comfortable and haven't stopped smiling since finding my dream dress! So excited to see the final product!

  I had an amazing experience with Modern Bride. They did an incredible job helping me find a dress on a very short timeline, and also helping with alterations to fit a growing baby bump (no easy feat!). At my first appointment the consultant was so attentive to what I was looking for and pulled so many beautiful dresses. I knew as soon as I put on "the one". The follow-up alteration appointments all went smooth and they really went above and beyond to fit me in to their schedule and make sure everything was perfect for my big day. I did shop around at other bridal dress shops and they didn't compare in the slightest to the service and value received at Modern Bride.
