I went in with my (at the time) boyfriend to pick out a Montana sapphire together. The experience was warm, low pressure, and they had a great selection. The woman helping us was excited and knowledgeable. After we purchased a stone, he worked with them to select a fitting. He said that was also a very easy experience for him, and that he really felt like he could make the best choice based on what he thought I'd like. They even remembered him when he came in even though it was a few months later! I absolutely love my ring, it's perfect.

    Horrendous Customer Sevice

Unfortunately I would not recommend this jewelry store to anyone. We have been a customer at Millers for the last few years. The service was okay the first few times when we worked with two different nice ladies, however the last year I have had terrible service. I took my families’ heirloom sapphire ring to them that they had “rebuilt” a year prior. The stone was loose and it was my something blue that I planned to wear for my Wedding. I signed it over to them 7 weeks prior to my wedding and asked for them to just tighten the prongs. I went to pick up my ring two days prior to my wedding and they had ruined the setting by stretching it and turning the stone to the opposite orientation. I was in shock. It looked so different I thought it was someone else’s ring. I handed it back to her and explained the mistake and asked if they would fix it before the wedding. The manager and jeweler both came to look at my ring. They told me it was impossible my stone was ever turned the other direction and there was nothing they would or could do. The jeweler actually called me a liar. I have worn that ring everyday for ten years as it is a precious gift from my Mom.

During all of this I decided I needed a break as it’s against my beliefs to be ugly and I had maintained my composure. I was at lunch crying which upset my sister. She went to talk to them and came back with my ring. It was oriented correctly, however the setting was ruined.

Mistakes happen and that is okay. Calling a customer a liar and never apologizing for a mistake is not okay. Especially when your business is nonessential and a luxury.

All I wanted was an apology for the mistake and a correction. Instead I was called a liar with no apology. I was also told I was just emotional because of my wedding. I was emotional at the fact that they ruined something that has immeasurable value to me. The setting is ruined and is having to be placed in a new setting. I’m still not even sure if it is my original stone or what happened to the little diamonds that were on the side that are gone. My ring will never be the same. I just don’t want this to happen to another family.
