We had an outdoor wedding with the ceremony on the grass adjacent to the creek, the cocktail hour on the lovely brick patio, and the reception in the awesome outdoor pavilion. 7 hours total from 4:00 to 11:00. The venue was beautiful, the food was great, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The entire wedding went off flawlessly and our daughter has told us it was the wedding of her dreams. Not a single bad thing to say about this venue; I highly recommend it. We especially thank Michael, Brandon, Saul, Rorary, Linda, Brian, Nick and all the staff who made this such a great event for us.Sent on 08/26/2015

Not only my husband and I, but our friends and family were EXTREMELY impressed by the Millennium staff. From the beginning to end Laurie was super helpful in answering all of my questions and addressing any concerns. She had a solution or suggestion for everything I threw her way and her great attitude always kept us laughing. On our big day we met even more of the great staff. Just to throw out a couple examples:Sent on 09/29/2011
They ensured my panicked mother was able to get an early check in to her room to get ready for the big day.
The bartender and head waiter knew within minutes that there was an "uninvited guest" at the wedding and they were quick to move him along.
The groom noticed half way through the night that the staff members were making special visits to a completely different bar on site to ensure he was getting his drink of choice (not offered at our bar.).
I could go on but all in all I highly recommend!

I searched forever for a venue that was expensive. Everything was so over priced but when I stumbled across the Millennium and spoke with Laurie, she made it a no brainer decision. The Millennium was so easy to work with, request were met, very professional, lots of options and I didn't feel like they were just doing it for the money. Laurie exceeded my expectation on our special day. We almost had "run of the place" they opened things up to use and wre so flexible for whatever we needed or wanted. Venue was a great price, food was AMAZING and I got so many compliments. If your looking for a venue with a great location, beautiful view, great price, ease and that extra flare, this is perfect.Sent on 09/29/2011

Again, great. I really took my time picking vendors. Lauri was assigned my wedding, she was our planner through the hotel...came with the whole deal, and she did an awesome job. The food was wonderful...and trust me, I tested everything! They were so flexible. I wanted the cocktail portion in the garden, and then dinner in the pavillion, with the band in between...and they did it. It was great!Sent on 03/20/2012
I should add that they provided transportation too for my huge group up to sunrise amphitheater and then to pearl street later in the day..wonderful.

Nichole and the friendly staff made planning our wedding day at the Millennium a breeze. Everyone was very professional and responsive. Every question had I was answered to the fullest and in a timely manner.Sent on 09/27/2009
In addition, our guests raved about how great the food and service was. Quite a few guests made a point to tell us that the food was the best wedding food they had ever had. For a buffet style menu, the food was fresh and delicious.
If ever I was in need of a place for a meeting, party, or any ever event in Boulder the Millennium would be at the top of my list.

Some of my guests and I stayed here for the days preceding my wedding. Since my bridal party was getting ready at the hotel, they graciously upgraded our room. Everyone was very helpful and even anticipated our needs (like having the shuttle ready when we needed to go to the rehearsal). They have the best views in town and you get a great view of the flatiron mountains! The rooms were a bit outdated but super clean and they have a yummy breakfast buffet in the mornings. We were very happy.Sent on 07/20/2010

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. Booked a ghost rate at this hotel and had 8 rooms that had at least 25 issues all together, and the staff refused to help or fix ANYTHING.Sent on 05/06/2018

I picked millennium for the price and location, knowing the hotel was a bit old and run down but I ignored many 1-star reviews on yelp and hotels.com thinking those were just snobby tourist, it couldn't possibly be all that bad...but I was so wrong. First and foremost, my wedding captain, Jason Fuhs, whom still is employed there, and a temporary worker from my reception came into my ballroom suite without knocking while I was in the bathroom and knocked the door until I came out. When I confronted them as to why they would be so rude the banquet captain yelled at me! I escalated this up and spent an hour of my wedding night arguing with this man about how he was so unprofessional and rude and at no point did he ever apologize. Later that evening I saw the temporary working hanging out and drinking with my guests and when I asked her to please leave she started cussing and lunging at me. I screamed for security who all but just sat there. She broke free from one of my wedding guests holding her back and grabbed my throat and hair, ripping my gown and breaking my grandmothers pearl necklace with a chunk of hair in it. I called the police and have dealt with lawyers, the hotel, and the corporate level. Let me tell you these people will make you feel so insignificant and try to brush you under the rug. They claimed absolutely zero responsibility and multiple times even got rude with me because they were 'sick of dealing with me.' I wish I could say that's all that went wrong but our wedding coordinator from millennium quit giving us a few hours notice of her last day and a lot of her promises and set up went with her. Blocking rooms for my guests at the agreed upon price was a nightmare and working with that lady was awful, multiple guests still over paid for rooms despite countless emails/calls/meetings. The rooms were truly as awful as they say & 2 guests of mine actually saw mice and they WOULD NOT switch their rooms/clean it for them. I'm disgusted with this hotel.Sent on 01/10/2015

Damn. Where do I start? If I could give a lower rating than a 1 I would. I got married there two weekends, and boy what a mess. Just a FEW of the things that happened:Sent on 07/27/2017
- Asked for early check in on Thursday, Friday and Saturday for everyone. I showed up at 1pm, and was told our room wasn't ready. Each and every guest that showed up had the same issue. Many peaced out and went across the street to the Mariott.
- Management was incredibly unorganized, mismanaged, and paid zero attention to detail. I was horrified to find out that 2 full tables of 11 did not receive dinner. What?! Why was I served a piece of chicken that could have easily have been 3 servings. We went over this at the tasting. And again after via email. What the hell?
- Your staff pushed back on not only us, but our guests as well. Why was it so hard to get an extra towel, or an extra robe? I checked into our wedding 'suite' and found only one set of everything...shampoo, soap, towels, lotion, etc.
- A guest checked in on Wednesday and was checked into a room that had not been cleaned. The bathtub was dirty and the stopper was broken. They moved to the Marriott.
There is a laundry list of things. The outdoor space is pretty, and the location works, but just prepare yourself. Thankfully all our outside vendors were great, professional, and made the day spectacular.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Boulder Millennium Harvest House Hotel in 08/2014 and it was an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE! The problems that occurred while planning this event and during the event were so numerous that I had to make a list to make sure that I included everything that was an issue. The apex of which was, on our wedding night, my wife, the bride of the event, was VERBALLY HARASSED by 2 members of the hotel's catering staff and even PHYSICALLY ASSAULTED by a MEMBER OF THE HOTEL CATERING STAFF!!! Please see our list of the other issues that we had with the hotel:Sent on 12/20/2014
1) We had many issues with our guests getting our group rate.
2) Our event coordinator quit a few months before our wedding we were not informed until her last day. We had to start all over with a new coordinator.
3) The hotel was under construction when we were told it would be completed by our event date at the time we signed out contract.
4) Rooms were not ready and guests were unable to check in on time.
5) Room cleanliness was a big issue. Many guests reported MICE, and the staff did nothing to remedy the situation.
6) The event staff made many errors and did not correct them when they were alerted about them.
7) The bride was VERBALLY HARASSED by 2 members of the catering team including our banquet captain. One of the staff members then PHYSICALLY ASSAULTED the bride.
8) Hotel security was a complete abomination.
9) Our event coordinator promised they would not bill our card until the assault situation was resolved, less than 24 hours, without notice, our card was billed the fully.
10) When we went to seek assistance from the GM regarding the assault situation, he refused to meet with us or even acknowledge the situation.
The Boulder Millennium Hotel is THE WORST hotel experience I have ever had and the fact that we invited our friends/family to stay at here is embarrassing. I warn you DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! The staff made our wedding a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
