Mikhail is a first class musician who has a lot of experience playing not only solo, but collaborating with another musicians. I had a pleasure to perform with Mikhail for wedding ceremonies and it was always very easy and fun to make music with him. Mikhail's piano skills are simply flawless. One can always rely on him being on time and looking top notch. What else can one ask for? Highly recommend! -

Mikhail and his mother were absolutely wonderful. I hired them to play at my cocktail hour and it added such a classy elegance that I was looking for. Leading up to the day, Mikhail provided a list of songs that they play and I was able to select a handful of them. He responded quickly and professionally and even accomodated a last minute change very well. The day of they were on time, professional and played beautifully. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone. -

Mikhail is professional, talented, and worth every penny! He learned some cultural piano music for us and our guests loved the added touch of live music. It added such elegance to our event. My now mother in law follows him on social media too just to listen to him play. He responds in a timely fashion and provided a healthy list of songs for us to choose from. -

Mikhail and his mother performed for our wedding ceremony and it was perfection. They created a wonderful ambiance while our guests were waiting for the ceremony and after it ended, and they absolutely nailed the timing and performance for our processional and recessional. On top of that, Mikhail was a breeze to work with. He truly listened to us every step of the way and made our vision come to life. -

Amazing pianist made our event so special!
Mikhail was the most amazing pianist at our wedding and I highly recommend him. He played a variety of music including jazz, modern, and some specific songs that we requested that were meaningful to us. He added such a touch of elegance to our event. It was really magical. Our guests were blown away. Mikhail was so helpful and collaborative during the entire planning process for our event as we discussed musical selections and logistics. One of the highlights of the night.
Mikhail, along with his mother Galina and the vocalist Gian, formed a delightful trio that enchanted our guests during both the cocktail hour and reception. Initially, we had a different vocalist, but due to unforeseen conflicts, we needed a male vocalist instead. Mikhail went above and beyond, dedicating considerable effort to help us find the perfect replacement.
There were doubts among those around us about whether a live band could truly set the tone and create the right mood for our event. Many suggested adding a DJ instead, but we remained steadfast in our decision to stick with Mikhail—and we're so glad we did.
Mikhail is not only a professional and communicative musician but also incredibly talented. His performance, complemented by Galina and Gian, exceeded all expectations. Our guests unanimously agreed that the music was one of the highlights of the night, expressing their love for the live performance which provided a refreshing change from typical DJ setups.
Rest assured, with Mikhail, Galina, and Gian, your guests won't just dance—they'll be thoroughly entertained. -

Mikhail played for both our ceremony and cocktail hour, and it was absolutely perfect. The live keyboard during the ceremony made it so much more dramatic and personal. He accommodated any song we needed, even if he had to learn it. Our request for Firestone by Kygo was an absolute hit as the bridal party walked down the aisle, and he brought a whole new level of energy to the room. Working with Mikhail was so easy and so fun. I would recommend him to anyone looking to make their wedding or event just a little more magical. -

Mikhail and his mother were one of the highlights of our wedding according to guests. Not only did he learn two songs for us for the ceremony, his mother also learned the music for a Hebrew song to play at our bedeken. Absolutely recommend booking them! -

We immediately chose Mikhail, due to his professionalism, communication and his extensive pop portfolio. He was so easy to work with and was able to provide extras like microphone set up (for a small fee) and insight into Central Park weddings permits/locations. We had a schedule issue arise last minute and he handled it so professionally. He and his mother played our song choices beautifully. Thank for so much for the wedding of my dreams! They have my highest recommendations. -

Mikhail and his violinist mother provided amazing music for both the ceremony and the cocktail hour. Their handling of arrangements of popular music is respectful to the source material, while their classical renditions are simply divine. I received so many compliments from the guests on how good this duo performed. Weddings are filled with many options for hiring vendors, but going with Mikhail Romanov is a no brainer. A++ -
