  Scott was awesome in helping us plan our wedding! If ever I need a wedding planner in Iowa, Scott would be top on my list! He is patient, experienced, and thoughtful... Two huge thumbs up! Highly recommend his services!

  Organizing a wedding is hard work, it even more so when it's not your country of residence. We came to the USA from Australia to get married, as it still not recognized. Research and planning, to ensure all the legal requirements are correct and ensuring that our day would be magical. Scott from Midwest Wedding Planners is creative, energetic, focused to make your day special without any bumps along the way. We talked with Scott about what we like and our thoughts of what our wedding would be like, Scott gave some great options and advised of the whole plan along the way, there was nothing that was too big or small. We had previously booked our accommodation at our hotel and Scott was able to get us a cheaper rate then we did online, right down to ensuring out marriage certificate was processed in time to ensure we could take it home with us. We where also the lucky enough to be the first to be married by Scott, something we feel very privileged. Words can not express the professionalism of Midwest Wedding Planners.

  On the day of our wedding, Scott was late. We called him twice and no answer... He finally called us back and said he was (obviously) running late. He was also supposed to have a photographer which he FORGOT to do, however he was able to call a friend to photograph our event and she was OK... She took very few pictures. During the reading he messed up several times, but overall he was a very friendly guy and we had a wonderful time... I attributed some of the problems to being new at this job. Afterward we invited everyone to dinner and we had a blast. He handled getting the cake and it was absolutely awesome... I would definitely recommend Scott... a super nice guy... and I am sure he has all the kinks ironed out by now.
