I looked at MANY photographers before selecting Michelle Lawson Photography. I love their timeless elegant style and my photographer Steve Lawson did not disappoint. He was professional and knew the venue well. We were able to take a lot of diverse shots in short amount of time. I'm really happy with the resulting photos and I got them back 2.5 days after the wedding! AWESOME photographer! -

Would give 100 stars if I could
Steve and his team is the most amazing! All our guests, bridal party, everyone.. loved them. It absolutely poured from start to finish on our wedding day and Steve didn' t let it skip a beat and had so many amazing work arounds. It made us feel so at peace and made us not skip a beat either. We got our wedding photos back SO fast and are in love with ALL OF THEM. THE BEST!!! BOOK THEM -

I cannot say enough amazing things about MLP, specifically Caleb Lawson! Caleb was always there when you turned around to look for him. He was in the action but never overstepped. I got married on 12/9/23 and had my entire wedding album by 12/21/23. Not to mention, Caleb also turned a rainy day engagement shoot disaster into an amazing experience with amazing photos. I will cherish my wedding photos forever and already have friends that have hired MLP for their own upcoming weddings! They truly captured everything and more. I will be calling Caleb for my future family photo and Christmas card needs in the future!!! -

Steve and his guys are truly incredible. I have been in so many weddings and around a lot of photographer teams and no one compares to these guys. Their fun energy creates a comfortable and confident atmosphere. This is a vendor you spend the entire day with and through all the emotional moments as well so this was a big choice for us and we couldn't have made a better decision. Steve and his team exceeding expectations. They were fun, professional, super responsive and helpful with anything and everything! I recommend this team so so much and I will definitely use them again for anything else I need in the future!! -

I can’t say enough positive things about the whole Michelle Lawson team. They are truly professionals. They are punctual, bring such incredibly positive energy, and shoot amazing photography. They help make you feel comfortable in front of the camera, even for the camera shy. Steve Lawson isn’t just a photographer/videographer- he is able to bustle a dress, put on a veil to perfection, do last minute alterations on your wedding dress, spot a single strand of hair out of place from a mile away, the list goes on and in. These are people you can trust and want on your team on the most important day of your life. Plus, you can tell they genuinely enjoy what they do. 6/5 stars -

Steve and his team absolutely killed it! We had Steve for our Engagement Photos, Rob for our Rehearsal Dinner and then Steve for our Wedding.
For our Rehearsal dinner, Rob's energy was incredible. He was upbeat knew exactly what to capture and made our guests feel right at home. He took my husband and I out on the beach and the way he guided us and worked with us, made us feel so comfortable! Rob was amazing!!
Working with Steve and his team made us feel so comfortable. They made us feel like family and it felt like we knew them forever! Their attention to detail is unmatched! They always made sure that my hair was laying perfectly, as it was a little windy on our wedding day. If there was a tiny strand of hair out of place, they noticed and came to fix it.
We received our wedding photos in 2 weeks! The turn-around time was incredible and the quality of their work was even better! They were able to tell our story through the photos. Steve and his team not only captured the direct poses, they also captured the perfect candids of my husband and I that showcased the true moment between us!
Besides taking unbelievable photos, Steve knew exactly how to bustle my dress. He even helped me with the buttons on my dress when I was getting ready.
Every one of our guests came up to us and asked us where we found our photographer and videographer because they absolutely loved Steve and his team and the energy that they brought!
If you haven't found your wedding photographer yet, I highly recommend Michelle Lawson Photography. It is a family-owned business and their professionalism, attention to detail, quick response, high energy and quality of work is something you won't find anywhere else! -

This is the one vendor I researched on my own & am sooooo happy with my decision! It's because of these reviews as to WHY I picked them and I couldn't be MORE HAPPY and excited to write this review!! Steve and his team are AWESOME!!!! Super outgoing, friendly, responsive, and funny!!! Brides----this is the person you spend most of your time with the day of the wedding!!!! Great person to hang with & chat with. He made me feel so at ease & excited! Steve and his son made EVERYONE at our wedding feel so special, pumped, and happy! Our pictures are absolutely stunning & we couldn't of been happier with our decision to have them at our wedding. Very responsive, as well! Easy to communicate with!! Our guests even commented on our photographers & how awesome they were. LOOK NO FURTHER! HIRE THIS TEAM OF AMAZING PROFESSIONALS!!!! -

Caleb and Rob and Team DID AMAZING
My husband and I cannot recommend Michelle Lawson Photography enough. Caleb and Rob shot our wedding, they were super fun, knowledgeable, easy to work with and just straight up outstanding guys. From the very start we had outstanding communication and planning. After the wedding we had extremely quick turnaround of all of our photos and videos. Every picture turned out AMAZING! I feel like they did not miss a single moment of the entire night! This team really went above and beyond for us. Going with Michelle Lawson was by far the best choice that we made for our wedding. -

Wedding Photography with Michelle Lawson Photography
We got married in November, and I could not have asked for a better team to tackle our photo/video for our wedding. Steve was incredible to work with from the start, and he and his team are full of heart, passion, and love for what they do. They captured our day better than I could have imagined, and the addition of the photo wall was the best call/so fun! Steve has such a creative vision and made everyone feel so comfortable throughout the entire day, as did Jacob, Joshua, and Justus. There was not a moment I questioned my decision on photographers, and when I tell you that I can't even count how many guests came up to me to commend the Michelle Lawson Photography team, I truly mean it! And as a fun tip, if your bustle breaks/or does not look how you want it to, know that Steve will go to the end of the Earth to make sure it is perfect (including offering to sew something together for you!). Wedding photography is definitely not something you want to compromise on, and you certainly will not be disappointed if you book Michelle Lawson Photography! We can't wait to use them for maternity shoots, family photos, and beyond...they absolutely ROCK! -

I don't even know where to begin! We got married at the Pelican Club in October of 2023 and Rob was AMAZING! I always thought that the wedding photographer would be awkward and it would just be an overall awkward experience, but boy was I wrong. Rob makes the you feel so comfortable and yourself. Even until this day I get so many people from our wedding tell us about how amazing our photographer was!! He really just lets you feel natural and he lets you know where to go, guides you on positioning but really just lets you be yourself. His vibe and energy is what makes him amazing!
I cannot recommend Rob enough!!! Oh and I highly recommend having him take photos at the reception because the photos that he got from there just makes us feel like we are reliving the best night of our lives over and over again!! A few days before the wedding I sent him some inspo pictures to him and on the day of, he was able to get all those pictures and way more!
We did not hire a wedding planner so I had to communicate with every vendor myself and I can just tell you that the whole process with him was not stressful at all and his communication was top notch! And the prices were even better!
Also the pictures came back AMAZING and I have so many favorites! He really nailed it! He even played with the lighting on some since on our wedding day, we had a beautiful sunset and he captured us as a silhouette and it turned out incredible. They also delievered the pictures so quickly, I mean it must have been like not even a month and a half after our wedding!! I was expecting at least 6 months, but I was wrong!
Highly recommend Rob and Michelle Lawson Photography, we had a wonderful experience and will be hiring Rob for our future needs!! Thank you guys so much for capturing the best day of our lives!! -

Steve Lawson and his team at Michelle Lawson Photography are THE BEST! From communication to creative he was on top of it all! From our engagement session, leading up to the wedding Steve was in constant communication with us and making sure we were comfortable on a day filled with so many emotions. When we didn’t know where to stand or how to look, Steve was there ready to point us in the perfect direction, all with a smile on his face and an incredible attitude. Steve and his team were able to blend in and capture every moment perfectly. Steve and Kaleb/Caleb (spelling?...sorry) blew the whole experience out of the water!!! From the moment they met at the place we were getting ready to the last moments of the night, they were truly immersed in the moment and making sure every shot was perfectly captured. "Funcle Steve" also was truly the Jack of all Trades, wearing multiple hats throughout the whole day and helping with (and saving) so many little moments throughout the day. Both of their personalities paired perfectly with their skill in the field and definitely helped this bride stay more stress-free leading up to the big "I Do". -

WOW. There are not enough words to describe how amazing our experience with Michelle Lawson Photography was. Rob…. What a character. He and Triana got there early and stayed the whole night with us. Rob made us feel so comfortable and he literally was part of our party. Nothing but great vibes from the moment he arrived. His energy is the type of energy EVERY photographer should have. I couldn’t have imagined a better team to capture our special day. He kept us hyped the whole night and he was jamming out with us. You could tell how passionate he truly is about his work. His vision is unmatched. Rob’s personality will leave a mark on everyone. My entire family and all of our guests were raving about how wonderful our photographer was and asking how I found him. From the beginning when we began planning our timeline I remember Rob being so easy going and hoping on a call with me that lasted about an hour and a half just so we can get the timeline on point. He has such an attention to detail and his work is impeccable. Needless to say, he even helped me bustle my dress. He can literally do pretty much anything. Rob is truly a gem. I’ll never forget how fun it was to see him immerse himself in our wedding with our family and guests. He was dancing with us the whole time and snapping away every picture he can get. Huge thank you to him and Triana. 10/10 recommend. Can’t imagine going anywhere else! -

Simply the best!
From my very first conversation with Steve, I knew Michelle Lawson Photography was who we were going to hire for our wedding day... I never even followed up with other companies. Steve was actually at the airport during our first phone call waiting for a flight and still made the time to chat with me and answer any questions I had. He is extremely easy to talk with and very personable, which carried over perfectly for our big day. Steve helped fixed my hair during photos and even fixed my bustle multiple times during the reception until it was solid enough not to fall while dancing. ALL of our photos turned out beautifully. We could not be happier with the moments of love captured that we will cherish forever. RUN, don't walk, and see for yourself how awesome, fun, and incredibly talented Steve and his team are! I promise it will be the best thing you do for your wedding. Thank you again, Steve! -
