DJ Mark was so great to work with! He was professional and has great taste music. I really appreciated that he catered the playlist for dinner and cocktail hour to our taste in music. It added a personal touch.

Scott has the absolute best music!!! I cannot stop listening to his samples on his website and we haven't even had our wedding yet! He has been very responsive and wants to make sure our day is exactly what we want!!! We feel so lucky to have found Marquee Wedding Company!!!

Scott was the BEST EVER!!! Everyone asked us where we got our DJ! He played amazing music and kept the dance floor FULL the entire night! He was so flexible and even met with us via facetime when we couldn't meet face to face! He was absolutely perfect!

We worked with Jan as our main DJ for our wedding. Jan was amazing and two month's later we are still receiving complements about how great our DJ was. We actually ended up working with Mark at Marquee as well doing our MC for the wedding. Everything with them was fantastic. We live in Baltimore and did not get to meet Jan and Mark prior to the wedding but our original meeting with Scott was fantastic. These men truly love what they are doing and are passionate about what they do.

I would highly recommend working with anyone from Marquee

Marquee Wedding Company is FANTASTIC! Our DJ was Mark and we cannot recommend him highly enough! Our reception was awesome and Mark did a perfect job. The music and dancing were a blast! He was wonderful to work with leading up to the wedding: easy to contact, very responsive, flexible and professional. Mark worked with all of my requests and brought up important things I hadn't thought of -- he's the best! It was everything we could have hoped for and more!

I have never written a review for anything before, but I could not imagine a better company to write my first review for than Marquee Wedding Company. Basically, if you are reading this review, you need not look any further for a DJ (but, if you don’t want to take my word for it…read on). Without sounding clichéd, words cannot express how incredibly pleased we were with the services provided to us by Scott Wooten. We contacted Scott and from the get-go, he was extremely responsive, answered all of our questions, and was very honest. Living in Texas, we were unable to meet Scott prior to the big day, but he was flexible and Skyped with us twice so that we could first get to know more about his services, and then closer to the wedding so we could finalize details. He gave us great feedback on the songs that we were considering for the entrances, planned dances, cake cutting, dinner music, etc. He explained to us that he feels out the crowd and that dictates what songs he plays and when he plays the songs to ensure guests get on the dance floor and stay on the dance floor. Our dance floor was packed the whole night, and when I heard last call, I couldn’t believe I had been on the dance floor for the past 3 hours. Guests kept coming to me all night to say how great the DJ was, and I found myself mentioning to my friends how impressed I was, as well. The variety of music was perfect for our crowd. What I really liked about Scott, which I haven’t heard at many other weddings, was the fact that he mixed the songs together. It was a great touch that took his DJ-ing to another level. I truly believe that the DJ makes the reception, even more so now having been on the planning side of things, and I attribute most of the awesome memories from the reception to Scott. The fact that we still have people mentioning how great our DJ was 3 months after the wedding is definitely a testament to the services that you will receive when you go with Marquee Wedding Company.

What can I say, Mark is AWESOME! He has great communication skills - promptly responds to emails and phone calls, is quick to set up and does a fantastic job of getting people on the dance floor! He is an all around genuine vendor and goes above and beyond for his clients. We could not have asked for a nicer DJ. My husband and I HIGHLY recommend hiring him for your event! :)

I worked with Jan from Marquee and he far exceeded my expectations. Marquee was very professional from start to finish. Our dance floor was packed the whole night- and Jan checked in with the groom and I to ensure we were happy with everything as the night progressed. I cannot recommend Jan and Marquee enough!

Chris and I got married on August 2, 2014 and the months leading up to it were a little crazy. Scott was so organized and prepared that it was a breath of fresh air. We met with him a few months before the wedding and that was it! He had it under control and even happily took our last minute suggestions. Scott was like a built in day-of wedding planner, he made sure everything was on schedule so our bridal party and mothers could enjoy the celebration. My grandmother had a special request and he seamlessly added it into the evening and it made her night! Scott had our dance floor packed until the very last minute... my guests didn't want to stop dancing so he even played an "encore" song at the very end! We were so happy we chose Marquee Wedding Co. and highly recommend that you do!

If you want all your friends and family on the dance floor all night - DJ Scott is the one that can and has done it many times! First of all, Scott was amazing to work with and really took the time to understand us and work some of our favorite music into the reception. I really spent a lot of time looking into a DJ, and the thing I loved about Marquee is that it I knew the DJ I was getting and I knew he was talented. At the wedding, he transitions into songs and includes some beats in the background to make the music fresh and fun! It seemed like every song got better and better until the very best songs were at the very end of the night with people singing and dancing all around us. It was an incredible night, and several people came up to us asking for our DJ's name or commenting on how much fun they had on the dance floor. Seriously, I highly recommend him for your wedding!

Scott is so talented and has such a unique was a mashing up songs to make everything go smooth. The planning process was simplified and he was so helpful in helping us pick out songs. We had so much fun and the music was great-I didn't stop dancing all night. Highly recommend Marquee Wedding Company!

Scott is simply the best. He made my wedding day one to remember! Our guests danced the entire night. He filled in the blanks where we couldn't and he did an awesome job of it! He answered all of my questions almost immediately and never had me worried that things wouldn't go great. I recommend him to anybody who wants to have fun!

We hired Mike from Marquee Wedding Company as our DJ and couldn't have been happier. I have been to many weddings and the #1 thing I didn't want was a DJ who stole the show. I didn't want someone to run around trying to dance with my grandma, I just wanted great music and for people to have a great time. Mike went above and beyond. He did some MCing for us and was beyond professional. And the music was just top notch. He played everything I asked and nothing that I didn't want. He was able to feel the mood of the room and play exactly what needed to be played to get people up and dancing, all the while completely fading into the background. Everything was perfect and I can't thank him enough.

Music was one aspect of our wedding reception that was really important to us, and Scott did not disappoint in the least! He was always quick to answer any question that we had and professional and great to work with. He played every song we asked for and had some fun suggestions of music to add, as well! It's so great to have a DJ who actually mixes music because then the dancing never stops! We had so many people left on the dance floor that we extended our reception to keep the party going!

We found Scott through The Knot for our wedding and were initially attracted because of his experience as a club DJ and his emphasis on making sure our guests had fun. We wanted our guests to have a blast, so we went with Scott. It was one of the best decisions we made. Scott is incredibly responsive and provided numerous helpful suggestions when we asked his opinion and advice. He is flexible and extremely easy to work with. Scott provided the music for the ceremony, made the introductions, and handled the entire reception. And our guests had an absolutely great time -- multiple people complimented us on our DJ, and everything went flawlessly. Scott knows how to make sure people are having a great time. We were so happy that we had the great luck to work with Scott, and highly, *highly* recommend him. Pick Scott -- you will not regret it.

I had Scott Wooten as my DJ for my wedding this August. He was absolutely incredible. I couldn't have asked for anyone better. He responded back to my emails almost immediately, he was more than willing to accommodate any request we had. He helped us along the way as far as song choices for the cake cutting and things. From hiring him to the actual wedding day, he was extremely professional and everyone loved him. We got so many compliments on the music selection. Some old classics mixed with current dance songs were a perfect balance to the night. Everyone at our wedding was dancing the entire night and everyone had a blast. All thanks to Scott. I would absolutely recommend him to another bride!!!

Everyone will tell you that the DJ you choose for your wedding will make or break the reception! This is very true! Luckily, I found DJ Super Scott of the Marquee Wedding Company. Scott was the perfect fit for our wedding! He was very reliable, honest, organized, and professional. He responded quickly to any questions we had and was pleasant throughout the process! Most importantly, he made our reception the talk of the town! Scott knew what it took to keep our guests happy and on the dance floor all night! He adds a modern touch to the traditional wedding reception by playing the most up-to-date music. Scott arrived at least 3 hours before the reception began to set up his uplighting and equipment! He was neatly dressed and very accommodating to our guests. IF YOU WANT A MODERN, UPBEAT WEDDING THAT YOUR GUESTS WILL NEVER FORGET, SCOTT IS YOUR MAN!

My husband is a DJ so we had a lot of options when it came to choosing the DJ for our wedding. There was no question of who we wanted! Scott from Marquee Weddings is such a talented and versatile DJ. He was so professional and handled everything for us. Most importantly he kept the party going all night long. Our dance floor was packed and he was able to please everyone big and small with his music selections. If for some strange reason you want to hear the Chicken Dance and Hokey Pokey all night then he's not the guy for you, but if you're looking to keep your guests having a blast all night long then Scott is your man!

Throughout my wedding planning-the decision I was most nervous about making was picking my DJ. It is absolutely true what people say- your DJ will either make or break your wedding. Needless to say, Scott took all of my nerves away. Within five minutes of our first initial meeting with each other I knew that he would be the perfect choice. He answered any questions I had throughout the planning process and gave some amazing tips and ideas. My cocktail hour and my reception were in two different locations inside of my venue. Scott was able to accommodate to our needs of needing cocktail music along with dinner and reception. Scott also provided us with the uplighting for our wedding. He knew exactly how to set up our lights so that the room looked stunning. When dinner was complete, he got everyone out to the dance floor. At one point it was difficult to find a place on the dance floor. It was packed! He kept our guest out of their seats all night which is what every bride and groom wants to see on their big day. You will not be disappointed in your choice of DJ when booking Scott from Marquee Wedding Company!

We recently hired Marquee Wedding Company to DJ our wedding in May 2014, as they were recommended by a friend. I was impressed with their professionalism and skills! We worked with Scott Wooten, who took a lot of time to understand exactly what we wanted to make our wedding perfect!

It is important to note that Marquee Wedding Company takes the time to offer advice for what works - and what does NOT work at other weddings. This is SO important to know (especially when you haven't planned a wedding before!). Scott made a few recommendations which helped keep your guests from getting bored...admit it, we've all been to a 'boring' wedding before!

Another plus - if you email Marquee Wedding Company, they will email you back VERY quickly. They are very responsive. For example, our priest told us after our wedding ceremony that he will not be able to attend the reception and say a prayer. Note the reception was only a few hours later. We emailed Scott to let him know that we will no longer have a prayer before dinner and he took care of it right away. Email/text/phone - Marquee Wedding Company is very easy to reach and will do everything to make your day flow smoothly - even up to the last minute.

Marquee Wedding Company also has amazing skills and knows how to 'read the audience' and play songs that will get your guests dancing! Scott played remixes of old songs that had everyone from grandma to grandchildren dancing. I just love modern remixes of classic '60s and '70s hit music. Plus they kept the mix going so there was never a chance to sit down!

I HIGHLY recommend considering Marquee Wedding Company to DJ your next event. It's important to hire a team with experience and not someone who "just plays music". There is a BIG difference and your guests will notice - trust me!!

DJ Scott Wooten was a pleasure to work with. As "out of town" customers, he did a great job of keeping in touch with us via phone/email and made his schedule flexible to meet with us when we were in the Pittsburgh area. Scott took a lot of our requests into consideration and made smart, professional recommendations as to how to make our wedding a success. The night had a nice flow and we had tons of people on the dance floor up until the last call/sparkler send off. All of our guests told us what a great time they had and I think that has a lot to do with the ambiance DJ Scott created. Thank you for making our wedding a fun, special event!
