Absolutely Delightful!
From first contact to final delivery, Mariel wrapped my husband and I up with the most incredible warmth and care. Her process was fluid and delightful, and her attention to detail had us feeling confident for every moment that she was photographing us. Simply put, Mariel creates art, through and through. Our photos by Mariel are beyond stunning and will undoubtedly be family heirlooms. We cannot speak warmly enough or recommend working with Mariel highly enough, we would choose to Mariel photograph us again in a heartbeat.From first contact to final delivery, Mariel wrapped my husband and I up with the most incredible warmth and care. Mariel is fantastic. She could not be any sweeter, and her work speaks for itself. She did an incredible job corralling my family for photos before and after the ceremony, and we couldn't love our photos any more! Mariel is magical! If you like her photography, hire her! She will exceed all of your expectations, I truly can't recommend her enough!! We hired her for our wedding in Sonoma this past September (+ engagement photos). We were blown away by her professionalism, absolutely STUNNING photos, and her contagiously positive vibes. Mariel made us feel so comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. She has such a unique talent for capturing the special and intimate moments between you and your partner. No staged awkwardly kissing photos are required with Mariel! I just really appreciated her positive and calming energy throughout the whole process. She sincerely made our wedding day so much more special. Our wedding photos are jaw-dropping and beyond gorgeous, all of our friends & family haven't stopped commenting at how unbelievably beautiful the wedding photos are! Mariel was/is my most favorite vendor!!! She is simply wonderful - she's amazing at what she does and a pleasure to work with.
She is extremely professional, helpful, responsive, organized, flexible and kind (I could keep going). From planning our engagement shoot to the days leading up to the wedding, she was nothing less than helpful and flexible. Anything we have asked for, Mariel has provided. Even on our wedding day, when our wedding coordinator could not be found to organize family pictures, Mariel took control of the situation and managed it seamlessly and effortlessly. It was such an relief off my shoulders to have her there and take care of things we needed.
We love all of her pictures. In fact, my family and I loved Mariel so much so that she will be shooting my sister's wedding on the East Coast next spring. Mariel was our engagement and wedding photographer. Her work really speaks for itself but if someone needs extra reassurance, here you go:
Mariel was fun, made us feel relaxed, gave us tips on how to pose and had lots of location ideas. She worked with me to make sure everything I wanted was included. I brought some flowers to the engagement shoot to use as a prop and she turned them into a beautiful bouquet by adding in branches from plants nearby. She is so resourceful and made me feel super relaxed during the most stressful time in my life.
My wedding day was absolutely the best day of my life so far and I have the most beautiful pictures to look back on because of her. I cannot thank her enough for capturing that day so perfectly for me.
She was always on time, responsive to emails/texts/calls, quick turn around time for prints, and is the sweetest gal in the world. I look forward to working with Mariel again in the future as my family grows.

Mariel Hannah is a fantastic photographer! She is artistic and takes the most beautiful photographs. My husband and I are in love with our wedding pictures. And I can not describe how happy I am to have found Mariel for our wedding. Our search for a wedding photographer was long and difficult because of how picky I was. I knew exactly what I wanted and I wasn't willing to settle for less. Mariel's photographs are breath taking and we clicked from the moment we first spoke. In addition, she is also very professional, organized, approachable, quick to respond, and detail oriented. Through out the wedding planning I shared many ideas with Mariel and I always felt like she could envision exactly the style I was going for. We received many compliments from our guests after the wedding saying that they really liked how she moved and how professional she was.
One thing that I especially like about Mariel is that she does a fantastic job of directing people for pictures. She is detail oriented and is able to direct guests in the most friendliest and polite manner. In addition, guests really liked that Mariel followed us around the reception to take pictures with all of our guests. Mariel goes above and beyond to make sure your day is perfect. For example, at the wedding, our florist forgot to make a bouquet for the toss and Mariel made one for me so that I wouldn't have to use one of the bridesmaids.
