    New Topnotch caterer (Bellissimo Catering) took over here in 2015.......incredible food and service.

    Absolutely incredible wedding experience...our coordinator was soo helpful and the food was exactly as we experienced at our tasting - delicious! A few of our guests came up to us and said it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and we couldn't agree more!!!

    We loved The Marian House from the moment we stepped inside. We had both our wedding and reception here and the entire staff couldn't have been more helpful, polite and responsive. I would highly recommend this venue to any bride looking for a reception venue.

    Frank and Ester Falcone were a pleasure to work with. After meeting with and talking to Frank, he touched on every detail. I was left with few questions and even fewer concerns. Frank handles family dynamics with care and will work with the couple to ensure that the night is perfect.

    Frank was great to work with. He was very upfront and honest and always available to answer questions. The food was terrific and the room looked beautiful. So many people complimented our reception and we owe it all to Frank and his great staff! Definitely would recommend.

    The food was good and we didn't have any problems planning the wedding with him. The only part I didn't like was that he tried to take over during the ceremony about who walked out when. He is a caterer not a wedding planner, but that was the only problem I remember.

    Caveat Emptor

    We had my daughter's Bat Mitzvah at Marian House last month. We chose the spot, thinking we'd kick off a chain of parties there among our large group of friends, since the venue was new in the "mitzvah" scene. My initial experience with Kara Wheeler during the planning phases was excellent, and the venue is beautiful, but after that, things fell apart. On the night of the party, the Sales Manager made us feel as if we were being done a favor by having them host our party. Many of the details we had discussed with Kara were overlooked; things were added that we hadn't agreed upon and other things were changed or forgotten. Some of our desserts were never served, and others went to waste after having been left out of refrigeration for several hours too long. After the party, we received a bill for several hundred dollars damages for minor, expectable consequences of a kids' party, such as spilled ice cream and loose balloons, all little messes that are easily cleaned. We were actually told, in writing, that they would have to "rent a ladder" to get the balloon down, and assessed $100 for it. Can you imagine???!!! We were never thanked for using the venue, and when I reached out to the owner after receiving the bill from the manager, I got no response. The Marian House is an updated Knights of Columbus Hall, not the upscale venue it promised to be. It doesn't hold a candle to some of the area's other event venues. The space has lots of promise, but sadly doesn't deliver on it.

    HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. ... After this company receives their money, they no longer are helpful, nice or caring. The manager actually is outright rude and disrespectful. 36 cylinder vase centerpieces were suspiciously lost after their workers broke contract and protocol and decided to start packing up our decorations so that they could get out earlier. When we then brought this to Sensational Hosts attention, we were brushed off, told their was nothing they could do. I was not allowed to go in and look for them and was told they were probably thrown away. I made every single centerpiece and was very upset by their nonchalant attitude and would not offer a refund for their mistake.
