Alana is invaluable!
Alana was the perfect addition to our wedding team that I never knew I needed! Working with her was the best experience. She helped out in countless ways during our day! She keeps everyone going and things on track. She whole-heartedly cares about you and your experience during all the craziness. On Point and Friendly
She was a wonderful wedding planner. She had so many creative ideas and really helped us get everyone in place for everything and made sure we were one time for everything. Alana had it all taken care of. She really did everything to make sure that the day went smoothly, and we cannot thank her enough for all the hard work she put into it.She was a wonderful wedding planner. 10 stars if I could!!
Alana was AMAZING. We had a private ceremony in Florida and had our reception back home in Ohio. We didn’t give her much time but you couldn’t even tell with how everything turned out! I sent her my Pinterest ideas and she literally brought them to life and then some! Not only did she decorate our venue to perfection, she kept me on top of the vendors I needed to book as well. I’m so glad I had her by my side to make sure everything was planned and it made for the best day! Some things went wrong that were out of her control but I wouldn’t have even known because she handled it and I was able to continue on with a fun night. She even surprised me with doggy treats for the guest to take home since she knows how much we love our animals!! It was perfect and everyone loved it! I would recommend Alana over and over again! Great coordinator!
Alana was very easy to work with. We hired her for day-of coordination and purchased rental decor with setup/tear down. Using her decor helped us save money and her team flawlessly executed my vision for our ceremony and reception. Definitely recommend Alana and her team!Alana was very easy to work with. Best Day of Coordinator!
Alana was absolutely incredible to work with! We hired her to be our day of coordinator but she did so much more than just that. She helped set our timelines and figure out the small details. She always replied in a timely manner with any questions I had leading up to the day!
On the day of she did everything we need (and the things we didn’t even know we needed) she was super communicative and was the reason everything moved so smoothly! Love & Whimsy events truly made my wedding run so smoothly and was such a blessing to have! She was responsive and quick thinking with solutions. Disappointed
Overall disappointed in Alana’s services. We purchased the all-inclusive package ~10 months before our wedding for $2,000. Consultation included a phone call, an in-person meeting, a 200-question survey, and a google folder for organization. In the few weeks working together, we were asked to fill out sheets, forms, and questionnaires, adding extra work to our already busy schedules. Alana’s floral recommendations were more expensive and lesser quality than our original florist. Information on cake tasting took several weeks and ultimately resulted in screenshots of google searches. Response time was often several days for texts and emails. Structure and organization were lacking. Ultimately, the relationship added more work and stress to both parties. Several months later, our money was refunded and we went our separate ways.
Alana seems new to the wedding planning business. She takes more than she can handle and seems to prioritize some clients over others. I would consider Alana if you need help with creative thinking or last-minute coordination, but would not recommend her for task management or organization. We wish her and all future clients the best of luck in their upcoming weddings.Overall disappointed in Alana’s services. This obviously isn't the outcome either of us desired. I hate that you feel overwhelmed and stressed. It's something I would never want for anyone. While I disagree with your assessment, I understand that perception is reality and never want our couples to feel this way. I am a newer event planner and my prices are reflective of that. Not everyone is destined to work together seamlessly which is why I felt a different planner would be more suited and at attentive to your needs. We provide clear expectations at the beginning of all our client relationships, mapping out a process we know works successfully. We also seek out open communication throughout that process to make sure everyone's needs are met and adjust as needed. We are, of course, reflecting on your feedback to study any areas we can improve, as there is always room to learn and grow. From here, we do wish you all the best. -
