From my trial run all the way through the wedding day Madisyn was my GIRL. She listened carefully to what I wanted and knew exactly how to execute it. After my trial, I felt so confident the morning of my wedding that I would look exactly how I always dreamed. Not only Madisyn was amazing, her team also rocked out my large bridal party in the blink of an eye. It was truly a dream day and all of my bridesmaids loved how they looked and felt so beautiful. I would 10/10 recommend Madisyn and her team to absolutely anyone looking for wedding day hair & makeup -

Madisyn and Katie were wonderful to work with and did an amazing job on the hair and makeup for me, my four bridesmaids and mom. Madisyn took feedback from the trial and came up with new ideas to work with my crazy fine hair to give me the most amazing bridal look. My husband was speechless with how beautiful I looked and we all got so many compliments. They were very professional and perfectly on time and had us ready by 2pm for all getting ready photos and first look. Wonderful to work with! -

Wonderful, patient and efficient!
I hired the locks&lashes team for hair&make-up services, Madisyn and her team did a wonderful job! They were flexible with the timing of everyone in my bridal party and listened to input from my bridesmaids. They were ready to go as soon as we arrived at the wedding location, and quickly/seamlessly cleaned up and left. They also gave good advice for how to achieve the looks we wanted. Highly recommend! -

I am so happy that we went with Locks & Lashes for our wedding hair and makeup team! I was nervous because I do not usually wear a lot of makeup or get my hair done, but Allison and her team were super helpful. We did a trial run and she was super encouraging and very flexible when I changed the style I wanted after the trial. Her team was so great on wedding day, making sure we stayed on time and everyone stayed calm and relaxed. Everyone looked so beautiful both in-person and in the photos. Would highly recommend going to Locks & Lashes for all your hair and makeup needs :) -

We were married August 28, 2021 in the Charlottesville area and hired Allison from Locks and Lashes. Her and her team was AMAZING! I was able to go in for a hair trial, which I was so nervous about the style I should go with, and Allison helped me make a decision.
Her and her team showed up in time and was professional the entire time. They worked quickly getting myself, 4 bridesmaids and both mine and my mother in law’s hair and makeup finished. I had so much fun being able to relax before walking down the aisle -

Thankfully, Allison booked me a trial and told me to text her what I loved and didn't like, and on my wedding day she did all the changes and it looked stunning. I had so many people compliment my makeup and hair. HIGHLY recommend Locks and Lashes for makeup AND hair especially on your wedding!! -

The ladies from Locks & Lashes did hair for my wedding this past Saturday (05/29/2021) not only for me, but for my 5 bridesmaids, my mother and mother-in-law. They were on-time, professional, super friendly and rolled with all the jokes my crazy group of friends made. They were also very accommodating to my mother who was running a bit late and is very insecure with her natural hair. She loved the finished look, I also loved mine. -

Allison was wonderful to work with throughout my wedding planning - she was responsive, knowledgeable, and kind. She worked with me on scheduling changes for our trial and all sorts of other hiccups that come with wedding planning. She also worked to ensure that I would have the best service possible despite some last minute difficulties. Madisyn did an AMAZING job on my hair and makeup for my wedding. She gave my thick, heavy hair some beautiful curls and absolutely crushed my makeup. They are both wonderful to work with and super sweet! -

From start to finish I had a great experience with Kiala. I was unable to do my trial for my wedding day and she did AMAZING without having done that. She went off of pictures and did exactly what I was wanting and the airbrush makeup lasted all night long! Very professional and fun to be around even with the long drive to the venue they were just great! They got everyone's hair and makeup done in the perfect amount of time. I will definitely be using them again! -

AMAZING!!! Highly recommend.
L&L was amazing! They are so knowledgeable and professional. All of my girls LOVED their makeup. They made adjustments if we wanted to change something and worked until we were all satisfied with the final product. They made my wedding day run so smoothly. DO NOT HESITATE- BOOK THEM ASAP! 😃 -

Our wedding, like may others, was affected by COVID-19. We had to quickly relocate our ceremony/reception to Virginia in our hometown. I reached out to Locks & Lashes for hair & makeup artist to be on-site for my wedding and received a response immediately from Kiala. Pricing was super reasonable and booking came with a complimentary hair & makeup trial.
I always get nervous when other people do my hair and makeup because I am never happy with the results. So when I went for my trial with Kiala I didn;t know how I would react. She blew me away with how precise she was able to create the boho hair style that I wanted perfectly. Also my airbrush makeup was so beautiful and complimented me so well. She even recommened a lip color that I would ever have picked out for myseld and it was perfect.
Outside of just being able to make me feel beautiful and create the look I wanted for my wedding day, Kiala was truly my saving grace on the day of. While being surrounded by friends and family is blessing, it can cause stress on your wedding day. I opted not to have bridemaids and instead get ready on my own. Kiala created a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere which allowed me to calm my nerves before the big event.

Allison and her team went above and beyond for myself and my bridesmaids. I reached out to her four months before the wedding after the lady I originally hired backed out unexpectedly. I'm a COVID bride (original date was in April) and we ended up rescheduling twice before we finally got the big day we originally planned. Through it all, Allison worked with us to make sure that she, or another stylist from her salon, would still be able to do my hair for the big day! She responds quickly, is very friendly, and made my hair look exactly like the picture I showed her (that I found on Pinterest). My bridesmaids loved their hair as well! And even better: she doesn't charge a ridiculous amount, like some other places do, just because it's for a wedding! If you're getting married in the Lynchburg area, definitely consider Allison! -

So accommodating!
Kiala and Lydia were wonderful to work with! They asked me important questions to make sure they knew exactly what I wanted. When we had to postpone our wedding and change locations, they were so flexible and made it work. They made planning hair and makeup so easy, and it looked so good! Exactly what I wanted for my wedding hair and makeup. Lydia also styled hair for my bridesmaids. Everyone looked great! -
