  We loved having Dan and Kendra beautifully capture our big day! We didn't want all typical formal shots, and some of our favorite photos were unique and set up by Dan and Kendra. They worked so well together and fed off each other so well. Any time I had a question, whether in person or via email, they answered me right away, and made me feel totally at ease! I loved the option of getting all our photos on a flash drive, too! We didn't have a videographer so we really counted on them to capture all our special moments, and they did not disappoint!

  When I got married in July '17 I hired Deja Blu Catering (now known as Cava Catering & Events); I cannot praise them enough.
  We opted for a casual buffet style dinner menu, but that didn't mean that the food was any less delicious, or that presentation was any less than perfect. The appetizers were all incredible (and they made a point to put some aside whilst we took the formal photos, which was a really nice touch!), we had 2 choices of meat, with roasted vegetables, potatoes and cous cous on the side. Since our wedding I have heard nothing but how good the food is, and I've longed for an excuse to hire them again! My hat goes off to Chef Francesco!
  Also: Our cake was the most delicious, moist cake I've ever had!
  We also opted to the 'Day of Coordinator' option and she was worth her weight in gold. Kim was there for me throughout the planning process, answering all kinds of questions promptly and properly, she forgave my slow replies and multiple changes of mind.
  Come the day of the wedding she arrived early, helped to set up and organize everything and all the different vendors so everything ran smoothly as one unit. From what I hear solved many problems without ever bringing any of them to me but Kim always made sure that I didn't know about any hiccups that could be fixed by asking someone else. Throughout the day she was professional, well-presented, and honestly very charming.
  I would gladly hire Cava Catering and Events, knowing that they have a superb team at hand.

  We just used Lightshed Photography Studio for our wedding in May, and we can not say enough about how impressed we were with this team. Dan and Kendra were so professional, so real and down to earth, so fun and most importantly, so very talented. Their photography style shows the same, and we loved this style from the start.
  
  From our first meeting with them, to the prompt emails/replies/phone calls, they showed complete professionalism and made us feel so comfortable. They were not intrusive in any way at the wedding but seemed to capture every single moment of the day.
  
  Every thing they said would happened, did, and in the timing they hoped it would as well. There were no surprises along the way and they had everything completely under control...which is something we were grateful for while planning a large wedding.
  
  And lastly, we just saw our wedding pictures and are blown away by how beautiful they are. They didn't just capture the people and moments, but really captured the whole feel of our wedding, which is an incredible thing to be able to do.

  If you want the best photography for your wedding you must chose Lightshed Photography. Dan and Kendra were amazing to work with. They both showed up dressed very nice, I have been in / gone to too many weddings where the photographers were dressed dumpy. This will not happen when you work with Lightshed. One of the things I like about working with them that was different than what I have seen being in multiple weddings is that they focus most of their time on us, the bride and groom and not all of the time on the big group photos. We got the group photos we wanted but then they took the groom and I around Salem for more private and intimate photos, this ended up being one of my favorite parts of my wedding day. They are unbelievably creative. I have received so many compliments on the photos they have taken. We liked them so much that we booked them for our Christmas card photo shoot. They will be our go to photographer going forward. I highly recommend them.

  Dan and Kendra of Lightshed Photography were a delight to work with on our wedding day. The husband and wife team worked with us in advance to understand exactly what we wanted out of our wedding photos - nothing stiff and posed - and they encouraged us to let them orchestrate a few traditional sets of photos, promising that they'd come across lighthearted.
  
  As the bride, it was nice to be able to have a female photographer do the wedding dress and prep photos before the wedding. This is not something that I would have thought of in advance but was glad, on that day, that I didn't have to worry about showing my Spanx to a male photographer.

  I chose Lightshed photography for my wedding and it was the best decision I made. I found Lightshed Photography through word of mouth. I fell in love with their artistry and the way they captured each emotional moment with sincerity.
  
  I contacted the owner Dan via email and he responded in a timely manner and was professional throughout the entire process. We had multiple in person meetings with Dan and his wife Kendra to make sure we knew what to expect the day of. Kendra is an amazing photographer, she has a eye for different shots and made sure my hair and dress stayed in place. She helped me keep my composure while Dan was photographing the groomsmen and my husband getting ready. It's important to feel at ease with your photographers, we certainly did.
  
  Dan and Kendra are a wonderful team and made my husband and I feel so comfortable. I was a curvaceous bride and they found so many flattering shots and angles. I cried after seeing the images because I couldn't believe I could look so beautiful.
  
  Our wedding album is pure joy to look through. They put a lot of effort into making the best day of my life memorable. You are in great hands with Lightshed Photography. Lightshed has a studio in Salem and they do family portraits too! We look forward to having them capture the next chapter in our lives.

  Dan and Kendra made taking photos fun. They caught all the right moments and knew how to make everyone laugh. Their pictures are amazing. Very professional to work with. The albums that they design and include in the wedding packages are the most memorable object one can keep forever. We would use them again.
