Where to begin! We got engaged about six months ago, and had been planning to have a big wedding with everyone we knew, lots of food, the works...then covid hit, and we had to change plans pretty quickly. We ended up renting out a small garden with just a few friends, and setting up a Zoom for the rest. We had given up so many things with our wedding, but the one thing I knew we could not compromise on was a good wedding photographer. After viewing some of the other work Lauren had done, I knew she was the one for us, and I'm so happy I was right!
Lauren was so professional, yet at the same time very easygoing. We never felt awkward at all with her, and she can prepared with many suggestions of places to shoot, poses, and moments to capture. She even came prepared with music for us to have a first dance, which we hadn't even thought about! Lauren took so many pictures for us, and gave us many beautiful pictures (so many that we couldn't even choose our top 50! They were all so great!).
I can't say enough good things about Lauren. She was generous with her time and expertise, professional in her work and correspondence, and compassionate in her demeanor and conversation. If you're looking for an amazing photographer that'll make your impromptu (or planned) wedding day a spectacular moment that you'll never forget, look no further! 110% recommended! -

Lauren is incredible and has a vision for you before you even realize what you want. I initially wanted to book with her based on her instagram photos, but once I spoke with her and took a look at her gallery, there wasn’t a doubt in my mind. Her energy, process, dedication to her craft and her clients, and openness truly make her a standout photographer and I could not have imagined trusting anyone else to capture one of the most important days of my life. We did both engagement and wedding photos with Lauren, and I am now recommending her to every single person I know! -

It's been over a year since our wedding, and we've been meaning to write Lauren a review ever since. She has been the most responsive, sweetest person involved in our wedding planning. She is fun, professional, and thoughtful. She made me feel as at ease in front of a camera as I could be. In addition to just being a great person to work with, we are so so happy with the photos she took! She is so good at editing photos to make it look like real life, but better, instead of that real life + filter look. If that makes sense. She helped us put together a book from our engagement photos. We used it as a guestbook at the wedding. It's my favorite thing sitting on our coffee table. I would hire her again in a heartbeat. -

Wedding photos were the most important thing to me and my fiancé when it came to our wedding, because the photos are the best way to relieve your special day over and over again. We found Lauren and met up with her to go over our vision for our wedding day. From the moment we met her she was so incredibly sweet and we immediately clicked. She showed us her portfolio and we immediately fell in love with her work. Not only is Lauren extremely talented she also makes you feel like family from the moment you meet her. She goes above and beyond and produces pure magic. Lauren did your engagement photos, and our wedding photos and the photos bring me to tears when I look through them because she did such an amazing job! We got our photos back so quickly and they were all amazing! I can’t even begin to pick a favorite. I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to capture our best day ever. Trust me when I say you will regret not hiring Lauren! Best decision we ever made. -

It was our first time taking professional photos and I was so worried you would be able to tell that we were awkward but Lauren made it the easiest funnest experience ever! She worked so hard making sure we got plenty of shots and poses while still making it all feel so natural. She made it feel like a friend who was just on a hike with us. Can’t wait to work with her again!!!

It was amazing!
This experience has been genuinely Perfect! Lauren is incredibly adventurous, fun, kind, and talented! She took our enganent & wedding pics & both my husband and I are in love! We can’t recommend her enough as her prices are fair & her photographic efforts are of the highest quality. We LOVE her!! We highly recommend her! YES! YES!! YES!!! ❤️ -

If you are even thinking about hiring Lauren, DO IT. We hired her for our engagement photos and besides being the nicest person ever, she goes above and beyond from helping you pick out outfits, to showing up early to scout out your location. She will make you feel super comfortable in front of the camera and keep you laughing the whole time. Our engagement photos are so incredibly perfect and beautiful. She is so talented. Lauren is honestly a rare find and we are so grateful to have found her! -

The magical piece to your wedding day.
Lauren...
where does one even begin to describe the exceptionalism of this human.
I found Lauren Mihae in a time of excitement. I was engaged.
I was planning a small but daunting elopement. And while it was an exciting time, there was an overwhelming, huge wave of fear that suffocated me anytime I had to think about who my photographer was going to be.
I found Lauren on Instagram. And while yes I found her, ladies and gentlemen, it is Lauren who SHOWED UP for me.
Next to marrying my husband, it was the best decision I could’ve made that day.
From the moment our communication started she made my heart’s desires her priority. Not only did she comfort my stresses, she did not add more stress to anything.
Listen, we all know there’s some pretty incredible photographers in our world of Instagram... but.. I implore you to trust me when I say Lauren is amongst the legends.
Don’t believe me? Just look at my photos.
She doesn’t just capture the perfect aesthetic, she makes you look as though you’re the next cover of Vogue.
But- this is what makes Lauren the best;
She prioritizes the love story.
For every vogue cover photo there’s a photo of a smile you didn’t know you smiled, a tear you didn’t know you cried, and the laughs you were simply too busy enjoying to remember.
From the moment you meet or speak to her she makes your story a part of her heart. If you’re crying she’s crying.
And this attribute is worth more than gold. It is worth more than any Instagram like, follow, or repost.
It’s so precious to be seen on your wedding day by those you love; so to feel equally as seen by someone whom I had just met makes Lauren a part of my heart forever.
Plus taking into account her INSANE talent, it just humbles me that I even get to say SHE took MY wedding photos.
She makes every one of her brides feel like they are the most stunning queen on this earth.
She makes every groom feel like a king.
She adores every detail of your wedding as much as you do.
She helps you let loose.
She’s never in the way, she CREATES a way.
for everyone.
She will climb any rock, wiggle into any corner, and do whatever it takes to get the shot of a lifetime. The shot of YOUR lifetime.

Look again at my photos. I’m literally standing on a freakin’ rock in the middle of the ocean.
I didn’t have to tell her anything. She just knew. She just gets it.
From the moment our day with Lauren started she did not rush anything.
She moves gracefully with time and yet perfectly in pace with your schedule. She doesn’t allow any detail to be rushed or any moment to go unnoticed. She is present, and yet at times, invisible. It never feels like a CAMERA is a part of your intimate moments. It feels like a person you’ve known for years is championing you on, and making you smile harder than you already were.
This woman is a jewel, and she IS the secret weapon to your wedding day.
What can I say.
Lauren is exceptionally made.
I would not have the hundreds of photos that are hanging in my home without her. And because of her I get to relive this magic every time I look at my photos. If ever there was a magical fairy godmother capable of making all your wedding dreams come true
it is without question, Lauren Mihae.
In fact, I might just write another review just to remind everyone of this. ;)

Jessica Sent on 05/24/2018If there’s any review you’re gonna read, please read mine! Cuz I can definitely break it down for you easy during this stressful wedding planning: GO WITH LAUREN. It’s that simple and I can explain why.
BOOKING: I was able to contact Lauren through email, texting and some phone calls. I had a lot of questions for her and she answered me very thoroughly and clearly. Very affordable!
PHOTOS: My husband and I are both the most camera shy awkward human beings yet we are absolutely in LOVE with our photos because I look at these photos and I just can’t believe that’s me. I have shown people and they tell me it looks like something out of a magazine, that we look amazing. I feel like a superstar when I look at my photos and that’s coming from someone who struggles a lot with body image/self esteem. her candids are absolutely phenomenal. Mind blowing. gorgeous.
PUNCTUALITY: she was on time for both my engagement photos and wedding day.
PERSONALITY: lauren is the sweetest and funniest person! Lauren was able to get my husband and I relaxed in front of the camera, making us laugh and really, really enjoy getting our pictures taking. It was more than just getting our pictures taken, it was a bonding experience for my husband and I as well. That’s how good she is.
ADAPTING/FLEXIBILTY: we had a Spanish ceremony and Lauren did a wonderful job keeping up/ interacting with people despite the language differences. So if you have a big Mexican party like I did, that will not stop her from being the amazing photographer and person that she is. She will get the job done with flying colors.
Also she worked beautifully and respectfully with the videographer. She also listens to your wants and needs!
OVERALL, Lauren you were one of, if not the best experience of our wedding planning/wedding. No amount of money could pay for the beautiful memories you helped create because it’s priceless. Thank you so much.
