  Lauren was the photographer for our wedding on June 24, 2017. She photographed several wedding that I had previously attended, and I knew how happy those couples were with their experience and finished products. She did not disappoint! She has has an incredible way of making everyone feel relaxed and comfortable, all while being efficient and friendly! (She even managed to collect all 30+ of our family members together and capture a picture where we are all looking and smiling which is a talent in itself!) Our pictures are beautiful and she has so many connections in the wedding business that it made the entire day very smooth! I would highly recommend Lauren Carnes Photography to anyone looking for a photographer for any size event, wedding or photoshoot!

  Lauren was the photographer for our wedding on June 24, 2017.   You have to book Lauren. You will miss out if not. She was one of the most steady and solid parts of our wedding day. She is organized, calm, collected, and is able to communicate in a way that is productive and gets things done without offending guest. She is warm and inviting and of all of our vendors she was the one that received the most praise (even before the pictures came out). All of this on top of the INCREDIBLE pictures she took of us makes her a must have for those of you looking for an awesome photographer. You will love her humility, the way she puts you at ease, and the pictures turn out great because you are completely comfortable and don't feel so posed and awkward.

  After 2 of my good friends recommended Lauren Carnes Photography--I was sold! I reached out to Lauren, we skyped once and it was fate. We were not able to meet until my actual wedding day due to the fact that I lived in Seattle, WA and was getting married in GA, however it was a nonissue. We communicated via Skype and email and Lauren sent me the sweetest notes of encouragement as I planned my wedding. Lauren has a kind, genuine and calming presence and takes stunning photos simultaneously. She is organized, encouraging and is fabulous at her job! Lauren is so efficient and I received my highlights and photos while I was on my honeymoon. I am so glad I chose LCP, I now have amazing wedding photos and a lifelong friend to go along with them.

  I first heard about Lauren through friends and social media before my husband and I got engaged. I immediately fell in love with her work and dreamed of having someone like her capture my wedding one day. We were thrilled and fortunate that Lauren was available when it came time to plan our wedding. Lauren is incredibly talented and a joy to work with! She is energetic, organized, and personable. She took time to get to know us and we really appreciated that! Our pictures are amazing, and we will cherish them forever! We can't wait to work with her the next time we need a photographer.   When planning our wedding, my husband and I knew that finding the right photographer would be one of the most important parts. As members of the industry ourselves (he is also a photographer and I am a stationery designer), we know how invaluable the photography can be. Those captured memories will last a life time and preserve one of the happiest days of your life. We met Lauren through a local collection of creatives in Augusta, Ga., and knew right away she was exactly who we needed for our big day! She is so thoughtful about each stage of the planning process and a welcomed ally when we were exhausted and overwhelmed. Her passion for weddings is unrivaled, and her experience and knowledge truly shined the day of. Our wedding fell on a very, very hot day in June which made for less then ideal picture taking weather; but Lauren stayed positive, put smiles on everyone's faces and made the experience enjoyable and stress free. Friends and family members still tell us months later how impressed they were by Lauren. But the absolute best part was receiving our incredible images before we even returned home from our honeymoon! The images took our breath away and had us shedding happy tears together in Hawaii.   You won't realize it completely until your wedding day, but let me tell you that Lauren is THE BEST investment you will make in your wedding planning process. You aren't just hiring a photographer, you are hiring the person that will spend the most time with you throughout your entire day. You want that person to be encouraging, servant-hearted, creative, passionate about their work, and most of all- joyful! Lauren encompasses all of these qualities and more. Her heart for helping her clients is evident from day one. She is intentional to ask questions and takes all of your answers into account when planning for your special day. One of my favorite memories was that Lauren called me the week of the wedding to talk through any last minute requests/ the timeline of the day. We ended up talking for 45 minutes because she really wanted to know how I was doing and what she could do to assist me. Her photos reflect how much she cares about her clients and how natural she makes them feel. Your photos will look incredible because she makes you feel at-ease and beautiful in front of the camera. One of the biggest compliments we received from bridal party, family, and friends who interacted with Lauren was that they recognized how caring and helpful she was throughout the day. She is worth every penny and we will be recommending her to all of our friends! She will not only give you quality memories to last a lifetime , but she will be a quality friend as well! You can't go wrong with hiring her and you'll be happy you did!

Although having yourself photographed can sometimes be awkward, Lauren instantly makes you feel comfortable by talking you through the shoot and providing words of encouragement. After our engagement shoot with her, I knew we picked the best photographer. Her turn around time on editing our pictures was remarkable. Our photos are absolutely stunning and we couldn't be happier! We can't stop scrolling through them and have said "I love that one" to every single photo. There's no doubt in my husband's or my mind that we chose the best photographer and we will definitely be using Lauren again for our future photography needs!

  When searching for a wedding photographer - it wasn't a choice for my then fiance and me. We already knew the moment we got engaged who we wanted to capture the day for us! Lauren is not only a good friend of mine, but an unbelievable talent in photography and incredible at making everyone feel SO, so comfortable. From the time we booked Lauren all the way through (and after) the wedding day, she was there for us in any way we needed. Lauren sent sweet notes during the engagement for encouragement - she was SO responsive with any questions I had during this time. On the wedding day, it goes by so fast!! But I'll never forget how professional and personal Lauren was April 16 this year. She followed the very detailed timeline she created and was extremely calm in getting several people together for photos (it was a bit crazy with 11 bridesmaids and 11 groomsmen - not to mention big families on either side!). As a couple, my husband and I felt incredibly comfortable taking candid shots with her - Lauren would constantly shout out "Beautiful!" "Ya'll look great!" and just made us feel so relaxed and encouraged - this of course translated into the most amazing, quality, and genuine photos from our big day. We received the wedding photos SO fast. When we were on the flight back from the honeymoon it was a ton of fun being able to look through them all. My husband and I are more than pleased with our wedding photos, and we have received a ton of compliments from people who attended and didn't attend the wedding on how great the pictures are. Finally, it is huge when many of our best friends from the wedding party talked about their awesome experience with the photographer as well. We just love Lauren!   Lauren Carnes was my photographer and she was the best! She was my photographer for my engagement pictures and my wedding! Not only is she so talented at taking pictures, but she is also the sweetest! She made me and my husband feel so comfortable the entire time and got us our pictures 4 days after our wedding. 4 DAYS!!!   Lauren is truly a gem to work with! She is extremely organized and on time, and her creativity behind the lens is amazing. Her eye for a great picture is absolutely unique, and I cannot stop going back through our wedding pictures and reminiscing! Additionally, she is a great organizer of people - I have never seen another photographer be able to corraI family and friends together for pictures in such a timely manner, and have pictures turn out so amazing. I cannot imagine our wedding day without Lauren!

  Lauren Carnes is a joy to work with! She was one of the first vendors I contacted after we got engaged and I am so glad we had her on our vendor team for the whole wedding planning process. She really made an effort to get to know my husband and me and worked so well with our wedding planner. She is kind and thoughtful, always going above and beyond. She remembered details and dates I shared with her and would check in with words of encouragement and celebration. My husband and I were immediately comfortable with her when we did our engagement shoot and knew we made the right choice in our photographer when we followed her directions, watched her stage cool shots and got a glimpse into her creative approach to shooting. Lauren is the kind of person you wish you could always have around. She is affirming, upbeat, funny, and makes you feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera. We practically felt like models after that first shoot! I don't know how it was possible, but she raised the bar even higher for the wedding. She is exceptionally organized and we could all relax knowing she had a well thought-out schedule. She arrived on our wedding day with her usual smile, confidence and enthusiastic compliments for everyone and everything. She is such a professional and handled the whole day with grace and poise, making things go smoothly, while adeptly handling any potentially awkward or tricky situations.   Looking back on our wedding, with all of the stresses beforehand and worries of whether or not the right decisions were being made, choosing Lauren Carnes as our photographer was the really the best decision we made. I truly cannot say enough good things about her. From our first meeting to wedding, she was completely on top of everything and we never had a single doubt that we had made the right decision. She has an amazing personality, is extremely professional, and is very passionate about what she does. It was an absolute pleasure to work with her and I would highly recommend her in the future and to anyone looking for an incredible photographer.

I wanted to invest in someone who would do an amazing job at capturing my day. -- If you think about it, when everything is said and done at the end of the day, one of the only things that you physically have to remember your wedding day are pictures.   I knew I wanted to use Lauren as my wedding photographer the moment I saw her website/blog! The pictures I saw were breathtaking. I loved her style and it was exactly what I was looking for. Lauren’s creativity is brilliant!
  From our very first FaceTime encounter, Lauren was an absolute joy to work with! She was so sweet and thoughtful and she seemed very excited to be working with me and my (now) husband. We were so comfortable working with her from the get-go! In fact, we had so much fun shooting our engagement session that my husband and I were both anticipating seeing Lauren again on our wedding day!
  Lauren was so sweet and positive the entirety of our wedding day. And she was super patient with our ring bearers and flower girl who did not always want to cooperate. She worked so well with the kiddos! The atmosphere Lauren helped to create was very relaxed and fun. And I repeatedly heard from family members how wonderful she was.
  The turnaround time at getting our pictures back to us was incredible. For both our engagement session and our wedding pictures, Lauren had a gallery up that we were able to view and download our pictures from all within a week of them being taken! And I am just in awe of the final shots I’ve seen. Lauren has a true calling in the photography industry and her passion is evident in all of her work! It’s going to be very difficult to create an album, because every shot is AMAZING!! Thank you so so much, Lauren!

Our day(s) with her were perfect, and our photos are beautiful. We get compliments on the photography from family, friends, and other photographers all of the time. I wish we could think of another reason why we'd need to hire a professional photographer right now, because we miss working with her! I would recommend working with Lauren for a million reasons. She has you FaceTime with her in order for your fiance and you to get to know her before the wedding day which I absolutely loved. She makes the whole experience so personal and relaxed.   Lauren was truly the best photographer we could have ever dreamed of having for our wedding! She is not just extremely talented but also really easy to work with and such a sweetheart!
