Our wedding was one day prior to a tropical storm! This vendor had us rockin into the wind! They absolutely make the experience personable & play your every request! They kept the party going & had many of my guests busting a move the entire night! If you need a DJ in the Outer Banks- it was hard to find one that was more local! DJ Lady J and her husband George were in the perfect location & they felt like family the moment they entered the party! We spent under 1k for 4.5 hrs of amazing tunes & entertainment! Our friend recommended DJ Lady J after their wedding in 2021 and I would do the same for any of my friends getting married! Throughout the whole process this amazing husband and wife duo were responsive, helpful, and flexible. The "planning book" DJ Lady J included helped me outline every detail of my ceremony and reception which kept all of the vendors on the same page. We loved the energy these 2 brought to our ceremony and reception! Kind, responsive, passionate about their craft…can’t say enough about how they put my mind at ease and walked me through everything from start to finish! Very upbeat and involved during the reception. Pumped me up about singing down the aisle, and helped me avoid panic mode only seconds before walking down the aisle. 100% recommend!!! Our wedding plans changed the morning of our wedding and DJ Lady J was there and prepared for whatever we planned. I was clueless about planning this stuff and she helped me figure out the best timeline of events, they hyped up the crowd amazingly and knew exactly what kind of music we liked just based off our special songs. They truly made our wedding amazing and we are so happy they could be there for our special day! -

They were an amazing couple who brought our WHOLE wedding to life !!!
Lady J and her husband were amazing ! they felt like apart if my family! They knew how to keep the party going and get everyone on the dance floor! They even let me steal the mic to help thank my guest! Not only was the music amazing but these two are so loving! -

I highly recommend this couple as Dj! My son even told me last night 'mommy you need to give them a 20 star review'! My kids had a blast and were tearing up the dance floor and Dj Lady J made it so much fun for them as well as the adults! They kept the music going and it was amazing music the entire ceremony! Extremely nice and professional! Just simply the best experience I've ever had! Amazing husband and wife team and they absolutely killed it ( in an amazing way)!! Just so happy I chose them!!! -

I first reached out to DJ Lady J circa November-December 2019 to inquire about her wedding packages. After searching for multiple DJs, I found Lady J to be the most affordable, communicative, personable, and most flexible, especially with her being in NC and I being located in VA. I looked at her other reviews, and those other customer reviews do not lie about Lady J and her services. My husband and I were supposed to have our wedding on 1/23/21, but VA COVID restrictions had us push back to 6/12, which DJ gladly complied with rescheduling.
A week before the wedding, DJ saved my butt with her wedding planner - which all helped me create a song list and an agenda for the reception. I don’t know what I would have done without DJ’s tools!!!!
The moment I met her on my rescheduled wedding day, she gave me a hug and she was all smiles for me, and it was very comforting, since she understood how stressed I was during the wedding prep with me being pulled from all over the place. She and her husband George have been nothing but very amazing during our time together at my wedding ceremony and reception. If I am to have another significant event/party like that again, DJ and George will be the first in mind to contact again!
To DJ and George, keep being an amazing duo, both as DJs and husband and wife. During my short time with you two, I can sense the love and the bond you both share. We had a blast with them. They did the play list and song requests. So entertaining. Good people. Genuinely cared about our happiness. Even through troubles with the venue they cheered us up any carried on. -

Lady J did an amazing job! Lady J and her hubby are very personable and had the crowd engaged. Every detail of the ceremony was paid attention to and the reception was awesome as well. I highly recommend Lady J for all your DJ needs!!!
