  Kimberly Brooke is amazing. She was our photographer at our daughters wedding at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. She was just perfect for my daughter, her new husband and their very fun wedding party. Kimberly is confident, creative and fun!! She was very patient with our group and seems to have enjoyed the wedding and working with the bridal party and our guests. She is very professional and I can't wait to see the photos she took last weekend from the getting ready part, to the wedding and even on the the "After Party". I recommend Kim to all new brides to be!!!

  Kimberly was so wonderful to work with for our wedding, I can't say enough good things! From early on in our planning process she helped us with our timeline and gave us a lot of great suggestions for our day and was always easy to get in touch with over phone and email. On our wedding day she was so professional and friendly, its important to have a photographer who you get along with because they really are with you all day and Kimberly was so great to have with us! The pictures turned out so beautiful we couldn't be happier with them. Thank you Kimberly!

  My husband and I recently received all of our wedding photos and are so thrilled with all of them! Kim was able to capture our day perfectly and all the pictures are just gorgeous! We also did an engagement photo shoot with Kim and from the first minute it just clicked! She knew what poses to try, what light to catch, and her personality was fun and comfortable! Kim was a joy to work with and we couldn't be happier with the results!

  We met Kimberly at a bridal show and instantly clicked. As if her work didn't speak for itself, she is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. Not long after the initial meet did we have our engagement shoot. She was absolutely filled with ideas and has the unique ability to just make couples feel comfortable in front of the camera. We were so impressed with the turn around time on our engagement shots also.
  Leading up to the wedding, I contacted her countless times through email and phone. She answered all of our questions almost immediately. Her experience is visible in the way that she conducts business. For example, she created a list of specific photos, based on my input, that I needed taken on my wedding day. This is extremely valuable on your wedding day when you are pressed for time, want to get the best photos imaginable, and spend time with your guests. This way you are not fumbling around guessing which photos to do next. I have no doubt in my mind that any other photographer would have taken twice as long to replicate the quality that we received. Oh, and she was also able to control a pretty large group of groomsmen, which was very very helpful and time-saving.
  She has a natural talent for photography that has been honed through her years and years of experience. Combine that with her professional, outgoing, and understanding demeanor, and you have the perfect photographer for your wedding.

  Kim is not only an amazing photographer but she is a great person! I am writing this review even before I see the professional wedding pictures b/c I am that confident that they will turn out amazing. She takes beautiful shots from all angles, not just posed boring pictures. Kim mentions in her bio that her "goal at the end of the day is to feel more like an old friend than a hired vendor" and she "feels the day has been a huge success if I get a big hug from you at the end of the night and you seem totally relaxed to leave on your honeymoon knowing we just shot a beautiful wedding." She definitely fulfills her goal!!! That is exactly how I felt at the end of the night. She is so relaxed and calm but will make sure she gets the shots she knows you want without being pushy. She truely makes you feel like she is a friend not just a hired photographer. Her prices are definitely a value for cost! She has a package that is flexible to your needs for your wedding day. Some photographers penny pitch you for each additional hour you need them. Kim is also up for anything... she even got up to her knees in the freezing cold Chesapeake Bay water in the middle of November to get a picture! She didn't think anything of it, she just took her shoes off, rolled her pants up and got in... just to get 1 good picture! I was impressed! Thanks again Kim :) Kim is just overall a good person and an amazing photographer. I would definitely recommend Kim for wedding and lifestyle photos!

My husband and I did engagement photos with her, too, which I think made us feel really comfortable and confident about what it would be like to have her shooting the wedding and how fantastic her photos were sure to be. Our wedding was a bit, um, large, and we were nervous about being in front of so many people, and Kim was really the one who made us feel at ease throughout it all. She's friendly, easygoing, kind, creative, and has a great sense of humor - which makes it easy to relax and look good in photos!
  
  In addition to all of this, Kim is beyond talented. She captured so much personality in our photos, and we just can't look at them without grinning and re-living everything. Her images have style without seeming pretentious or forced, and somehow every single person looks good in every photo. Kim has fun with what she does, and it shows in the quality of her photos.   Kim is wonderful and my wedding pics are AMAZING! She is creative, professional, flexible, and just an enjoyable person to be around. One thing I would highly recommend for brides who are on the fence about seeing your man before the ceremony for pics, DO IT! I always thought I wanted to do the traditional thing and not let him see me before I walked, but Kim encouraged me to meet him before the wedding and I am so glad I did! She set the scene to capture the candid surprise and joy on his face at that first moment he saw me- and since this was before the ceremony, it was great to share a private moment with my man. (It took A LOT of stress off!) The rest of that shoot was fun, candid, intimate, creative- (and my husband actually had a blast!). At the wedding and reception, Kim melded in with the scene, took great shots and my guests loved her:) She really captured the emotion and essence of our wedding day. THANK YOU, KIM!

  Kim was amazing! She was so personal and helped my groom and I, not only capture our wedding day, but also our personalities! Kim was fun and made us laugh, but was also very professional. The shots she took were phenomenal. Our photos will be cherished for a lifetime! I would recommend her to anyone!

  Kimberluy Brooke is an exceptional photographer. Our family considers ourselves so lucky to have found her. Her warm manner made it very easy for Luke and amanda to work with her. We recommend the engagement session. It was a great way for my daughter and her finance to get to work with Kim. The photos were extrodinary. They used one servral of them for their Save the Date. Later Kim took those photos and created a Guest signing book for the wedding. The book also worked in the colors of the wedding- It was a wonderful touch for the wedding. during the wediing ceremony and reception Kim and her assistant did a wonderful job by capturing all that we wanted while not being obtrusive. Several guests made the same observation. Thanks, Kim!!!

  Kimberly is an AMAZING photographer! After meeting her at my friends wedding and seeing her pictures, I was automatically hooked. We met with Kim to review things and I felt like I was just visiting an old friend, she has a way of making you feel so comfortable. My husband does not like to get his photo taken in the least, so I was concerned for the day of the wedding, she put him at total ease and he looks like such a natural...he didnt even mention once he was uncomfortable or had enough of the whole picture taking. About a week or so before the wedding Kim emailed me with a surprise...she was bringing a second photographer, Pete. It was so sweet of her, we had teetered back and forth with having a second photographer, but thought this would be a place to save...I'm so glad she did that for us, as we got many beautiful pictures captured by Pete, and he was great with the kids. The surprises didn't stop there, about half way through the ceremony Kim uploaded a sneek peak of some of the pictures her and Pete had taken thus far onto a computer....you would have thought someone famous was in the room the way people gathered around to look at the pictures, everyone was floored and commented on how amazing they were and couldn't wait to see all of them. I have talked to many people who weren't too pleased with their pictures and have told me how lucky I was I had gone with Kim. I couldn't have asked for anything more, she makes you feel so beautiful and special on your big day. Kim I can not wait to schedule "trash the dress" pictures with you and one day do family portraits, once God has blessed us with children. Thank you so much for everything.

  I was at total peace choosing Kim as the photographer for my wedding. I was planning an outdoor wedding and there is always the question of rain. Well it poured the day of my wedding thanks to hurricane Hanna. I didn't worry about it one bit... I knew that Kim would make the best of it... and she did! She took amazing pictures that I can't stop bragging about! I loved every aspect of my wedding and Kim was able to capture that! Only so much editing can be done after the photo is taken but to capture those breathtaking moments... that takes talent. Kimberly Brooke has been blessed with that gift! Simply put... she Rocks!

  I am so sad that weddingwire.com only offers 5 stars, because Sean and I would give her 10!!! Or even 100! Her artistic talent and kind hearted nature is exactly what we were looking for... Kim and her crew look at something and they see it in a totally different way, and they manage to capture the unnoticed moments... We are so grateful see agreed to shoot our most special day... We are sitting on pins and needles to see the finished products... I would recommend her work to anyone that doesn't want the plain old traditional, but wants the full and wonderful experience...

  Before we even set a wedding date, selected a location, or discussed any other wedding details, I knew I HAD to book Kimberly Brooke as my wedding photographer. Now that I know how important the energy and chemistry between a bride and her photographer is, I know how crazy it was that I hired Kimberly without meeting her and without shopping any other photographers! I knew I HAD to book Kimberly the minute I laid eyes on a complete stranger's wedding album. (We shared the same hair stylist). Kimberly truly helped make our wedding day. Her energy was contagious, and she made everyone in the wedding party feel BEAUTIFUL! I cannot express how wonderful she was to work with. Our wedding album is breathtaking. The only way I can even attempt to express how talented Kimberly is is to say that I've run into her at almost every weekend I've attended since my own. She has been called upon by a number of friends and coworkers of mine, and she continues producing amazing quality and uniquely original pictures and albums. Kimberly truly set the mood of my wedding party through her energy, and her eye and photos captured the emotion and spirit of the most important day in our lives.

  Before we even set a wedding date, selected a location, or discussed any other wedding details, I knew I HAD to book Kimberly Brooke as my wedding photographer. Now that I know how important the energy and chemistry between a bride and her photographer is, I know how crazy it was that I hired Kimberly without meeting her and without shopping any other photographers! Her energy was contagious, and she made everyone in the wedding party feel BEAUTIFUL! I cannot express how wonderful she was to work with. Our wedding album is breathtaking. The only way I can even attempt to express how talented Kimberly is is to say that I've run into her at almost every weekend I've attended since my own. She has been called upon by a number of friends and coworkers of mine, and she continues producing amazing quality and uniquely original pictures and albums. Kimberly truly set the mood of my wedding party through her energy, and her eye and photos captured the emotion and spirit of the most important day in our lives.

  Kimberly was great to work with! She met with us and gave us some ideas on how to best use her services, and then provided a very flexible and reasonable contract. On our wedding day she was very helpful but never in the way. The photos were fantastic, and we're very happy with her product and services!

When our originally scheduled photographer was no longer able to shoot our wedding we were SO pleased to find that Kim was still available! This is her passion (among others) and she has a true knack for photography. From the get-go we felt comfortable talking with her and she calmed any fear we may have had about the day-of going smoothly. She was professional yet personal and made us feel like every picture she shot of us was FUN rather than posed. She even hiked up her dress and walked right into the Chesapeake to get some stunning shots of us on the shoreline! She meshed right away with our videographer and knew how to command a crowd without being pushy.   Prior to our wedding Kim was responsive and we loved our engagement pics, after she was unprofessional, unresponsive, and overall careless! When taking group pics she paid zero attention to the surrounding background and we ended up with a lot of family pics with a visible random red hose. She didn’t provide any direction so we have some group pics where some people are removed from the rest of the group. When taking pics on a beach there was a guest from another wedding in the background, her assistant offered to ask the woman to move however Kim said she could block the stranger out of the shot but she did not, and it took countless emails to get her to finally photoshop this woman out of our pics. When she did fix the pics she didn’t bother to update the website which I requested several times but finally gave up as I never got a response. Kim also missed important photo opportunities such as sunset pics and me dancing with my grandfather, even though I had put together a schedule for her. After the wedding I contacted Kim to ask when we could expect our pics, I FINALLY got a response back 4 weeks later after numerous emails and phone calls. At this point I was afraid I was never going to hear from her or see our pics! I then had to send several emails to follow up on the canvas and app which was part of our contract...the app is not what was promised to us, Kim had sent my husband and me a bunch of ?s around our wedding day and none of these ?s/answers are within the app. I also initially wanted to buy an album through Kim but ended up going through another photographer after months of Kim ignoring my emails requesting pricing and album options. Looking at her website she seems to take good pics in years past, but her work has clearly begun to suffer in 2014, only 1 review has been posted YTD and her website has been essentially dead since May. Our wedding was amazing but I cannot say the same about Kim, she is the one vendor I regret hiring.
