I was blown away with my pictures!
I recently booked Katia for a boudoir session. Words cannot explain the experience I ended up having. Everything was done so professional and put me at ease. The suite and makeup artist were perfect and when she got behind the camera the magic happened. I was blown away with the end results. I loved every single picture. I was so worried that I was going to be self-conscious when I got the pictures, but it was the opposite. She knows exactly what to do to bring out the best angles and best attributes to make the end result flawless. I had so much fun and I highly recommend doing a boudoir shoot for any woman wanting to feel fantastic.I recently booked Katia for a boudoir session. Above and Beyond All Expectations
Katia is absolutely amazing!! Katia is so professional and someone you can completely rely on. Her pricing is so reasonable and the bridal portraits are included. Katia took my engagement, bridal, boudoir, and wedding pictures. They were all so unique and stunning. She is really great at incorporating picture ideas that you like off of Pinterest. Katia is so great at making you feel comfortable and guiding you on what you need to do to capture the best picture possible. She is excellent at capturing the perfect lighting and she is so fun to work with. If you are looking for a photographer in the Austin Area look no further. Recommend!
Katia was technically contracting for another photography company at my wedding, but she did such a great job that I wanted to write a review for her specifically. Just to be clear - she did not give me her business info or anything - I took the initiative to find out she had her own business and write a review for it separately from the company she contracted for.
It was ugly out when we took the first look photos - humid, grey, pouring down rain - the lighting was just awful, but the pics turned out surprisingly well! She definitely knew what she was doing. The sun came out during the ceremony and reception, and she took advantage of that and took some great pics. The day was honestly awful leading up to the ceremony (last second vendor cancellations, tornado warning, etc...) but she kept on a positive face and helped keep the mood light. I cannot express how happy I was to work with Katia. During my whole wedding planning process and to this day, I tell my husband that Katia was the best decision I made in our entire wedding...second to marrying my husband. Firstly, when I reached out to her, she was super responsive and very accommodating with my questions and with working with us to meet. When we met her, we were won over with her sweet personality and enthusiasm. She continued to have that attitude all throughout the process, especially when she is taking pictures. We were both very uncomfortable in front of the camera, but she was able to make us feel so comfortable and boy, did the pictures turn out beautiful. I would recommend her to any and everyone because I truly believe she is just the absolute best!I cannot express how happy I was to work with Katia. Katia was, without a doubt, such an insanely valuable person the day of our beautiful wedding. The week of the wedding, I sent her a list that she had requested: any pictures I required, any pictures I'd like to have taken, and any ideas I had in general... she also requested a few photos to be included so that she could get a feel for who my husband and I were before she got to shooting us. This was a great step to take with a photographer in general, and Katia made sure all of our requests/ideas/wants were met... and then some... and then some.
She arrived very promptly with enough time to take candid shots of the girls getting ready, the accessories, my dress, and sending her second shooter to take some great shots of the men getting ready as well. We had 21 people in our wedding party... this was no small task! Taking shots of everyone outside went more smoothly than I had ever imagined. She came well prepared with great ideas, was authoritative enough to keep everyone in line, but also fun enough to keep everyone engaged. It was basically FREEZING for the middle of October, so she worked expediently, but didn't allow that to get in the way of the quality of her work.
My husband and I also had opted to have a first look, which she had helped me to come around to the idea to begin with, as our ceremony was at 6:30 pm, making photos pre-ceremony a must. This ended up being one of our favorite and most cherished memories... we cannot wait to see the results!
Now, when I say "Above and BEYOND", I think of Katia's work. She was non-stop...We had a beautiful wedding... it was honestly borderline perfect... and Katia's work was a huge part of this. She never made us worry, was always there when we expected her to be, and did even MORE than we expected of her.
We recommend her at the top of our list of vendors for the day. Don't hesitate. Katia really made amazingly beautiful photos of our wedding. Our wedding was intimate and we did a lot of stuff ourselves and she translated that into our pictures. You can feel us in the photos, even if we are not in them. Getting your photos shot takes so much time, but she really made our wedding so much more relaxed because we were joking, and she put as at ease. She has great sense of humor, is patient, and absolutely knows how to make your wedding pictures look amazing!
The venue we had our wedding at actually made her picture of our wedding a highway billboard! We have yet to see it in person, but I know those pictures deserve to be seen by thousands of people. When we first got engaged my now husband and I both agreed that we wanted to hire a photographer who would take pictures that would continue to make us say "wow" years later. We researched for awhile to find a style we liked within our budget and from the first time I saw Katia's work I knew that she was different and special! We met with her soon after to look over samples and review budgets - to put it simply, we did not have the leave the meeting and think about it - we booked her right then and there. Katia did our engagement photos which turned out PERFECT and she was AMAZING to work with as the wedding got closer!! She is very organized and makes it so easy to plan the photography schedule for the wedding day. The day of the wedding her and her assistant were right on time and got right to work. In the craziness of the day with everything going on, Katia and her assistant worked around it all, where there to capture every special moment and were cool and calm the entire time. Prior to getting there, they had walked around the site (Station Square) and found perfect places for pictures so when it came time, they knew exactly where to take us to get the best backdrop, lighting etc. Toward the end of the evening, she pulled us outside and got what are probably the MOST JAW DROPPING pictures we could have every imaged! A day after the wedding she sent us a few preview pictures and one was more perfect then the next. We are THRILLED with our choice to hire Katia Forero to photograph our engagement & wedding and she will be on our speed dial when we decide to expand our family. The most impressive part is how unobtrusive she was, throughout the ceremony I had no idea where she was but she managed to capture the event beautifully! Our church was very strict and did not allow the photographer in the sanctuary during the ceremony, yet she still managed to get some great photos of all of the important moments of the ceremony through a window in the door with a really good zoom. I would definitely recommend Katia Forero Photography. Katia is fun, creative and professional. She is a kind person and seemed truly happy to be part of our wedding day. She beautifully captured every important moment of our ceremony and took numerous breathtaking pictures of us after. She is a kind person and seemed truly happy to be part of our wedding day. She beautifully captured every important moment of our ceremony and took numerous breathtaking pictures of us after. Katia was always efficient in responding to us and quickly sent us all of our images after the wedding. From the moment we had our first meeting with Katia, my husband and I couldn’t wait to work with her. She is absolutely fabulous! We had our engagement session in Oakland, the pictures turned out so beautiful and we received so many compliments from our family and friends. We didn’t anticipate buying many of the photographs from our session since we were on a budget, but after seeing her work, we couldn’t wait to purchase several of our favorites. Katia posted a sneak peak right away on her blog and the album was up in a couple days. Her second shooter had an accident the week of our wedding, without any extra stresses on me; she had another in place before I even knew there was a problem! When it came time for the wedding she had me complete a questionnaire so would know what pictures were most important. This helped so much because once the day arrived, time flew by so fast. She made sure she captured every picture that was important to me. We had a limited time to take pictures and she directed everyone where they needed to be, it doesn’t take her long to get “the shot”. Katia is truly an amazing photographer; she has such an enthusiastic personality and a love for life that can be seen in each picture she takes.
