I had a great experience at my bridal appointment last September of 2021. It was very private and an employee was helping me the entire way. Once I found my dress, I was even helped to find the perfect veil.
3 Months later in January of 2023 my Grandfather was admitted into hospice. I contacted the bridal store if i could borrow the sample of my dress I tried on to show him since he was not going to make out wedding. They were more than happy to help with request and even wanted to speed up my dress I ordered. Unfortunately he passed a few days later and I let Julie Allen know. They were very sympathetic and so kind about my loss.
In July of 2023 my dress arrived and when I went back to their store I got the same excellent treatment as when I was there the first time. Before I left my appointment, an employee introduced herself and said she was so sorry again about my Grandfather. That was the best ending to my appointment I could have received.
I am so happy that I chose to get my dress at Julie Allen. Not only are their employees hard workers but they are compassionate, caring and will do everything they can to help you in any situation! I will be back next summer (2024) to start on my alterations and will definitely be posting an update!!! -

I had a lovely experience at Julie Allen Bridals. They had a huge selection of gowns. My bridal consultant Jody was nothing short of amazing. It was my first and last time dress shopping. I said yes to the dress!! And a beautiful veil that matched my dress perfectly. -

When a friend suggested Julie Allen I was skeptical based on the distance from my home. However, I am glad I made the appointment and went. My consultant, April, was so patient and kind during my appointment. She helped me find the perfect dress for my big day. Each time I went, the owner Melanie would come over and sit and chat with my mom and I. We felt like we gained a new friend from our experience with them. -

My family and I had a wonderful time shopping for my wedding gown here. All of the staff, including the owner and daughter were extremely warm, inviting and attentive. They helped me to find the dress of my dreams and I cannot be happier. They were easy going and really helped us to feel welcome in the shop. I highly recommend for any bride looking for a really personal and easy going experience and somewhere that really cares about you as a bride. I'm so thankful I chose them and I look forward to continuing to work with them as I come back for fittings leading up to my special day! I feel confident in my choice and I know I will look amazing on my day thanks to these women. -

I bought my wedding dress here! They made me feel very special. Being a plus size bride, I was worried about trying on dresses, all of my worries went away. They made me feel so comfortable and beautiful. Also our seamstress was phenomenal and very professional! I love my dress and thank you for helping look and fell beautiful on my special day! -

From the moment I walked into Julie Allen’s I was instantly greeted with a smile. It was such a great atmosphere for such a special day. My bridal consultant, Jessica was fabulous. She was so attentive and really found what I wanted in a dress. I couldn’t recommend this shop more! -

Above and Beyond is an Understatement
I cannot recommend Julie Allen Bridals enough to anyone planning a wedding. They went above and beyond for me multiple times throughout the year I worked with them.
We found that my mother needed to start chemotherapy immediately the week we were going to start dress shopping. We had one weekend to search for a dress before she started treatment during the pandemic and could no longer go out in public, and I refused to go dress shopping without my mom. Our first stop was Julie Allen Bridals.
We reached out to them ahead of time and asked if we could have a photographer come and photograph us together in dresses while we shopped since she would be losing her hair, and we wanted to photograph her with her long locks. Not only did they agree to have a photographer come, but they offered to shoot the photos for us with one of their bridal consultants, Erica, who photographs her in her spare time. She refused to take any payment we offered.
We found a fantastic dress at that first shop that had amazing sleeves I couldn't stop thinking about it the entire weekend while we kept looking and made the decision to move forward with Julie Allen. They were very accommodating about the alteration requests I had as I wanted to change some underskirt colors and vastly cut back the long train and worked with me every step of the way to get clarity and make sure the dress was exactly what I wanted.
Yupa, my seamstress at Julie Allen was so warm and kind. She knew exactly what to do to alter the dress and add little additions here and there to make managing the dress easier. We did try adding some clear strips to the shoulders under the sheer fabric there to stop some redness where the dress rubbed, but it was far too distracting and reflective in the light. The owner herself, Melanie, spent the better part of an hour removing them herself!
My mom is officially in remission a year later, and focusing on the wedding gave her something positive to look forward to as she fought. We are so glad we started our dress journey with Julie Allen Bridals, and they will always have a special place in our hearts as we reflect on our wedding planning experience.
You won't get a better experience than here at Julie Allen Bridals. I'd come here again, but I'm not planning to get married again soon, so I'll have to recommend them to all my engaged friends instead. :) -

Julie Allen Bridals is absolutely wonderful. They're a small family owned business that has been around for decades. I stumbled across their store when looking for bridal boutiques and I am so thrilled this is where I got my wedding dress from. The entire staff are so kind and patient, extremely helpful, and are so personable. The gowns are great and they have a large selection, all very well reasonably priced. I would 1000000% recommend them to anyone! -

The team at Julie Allen is attentive, knows the business well, and are just all around a wonderful group of ladies who want you to look your best! So many options!
I love this bridal shop - they have so many incredible options for a variety of budgets. I went in not wanted to spend much more than $1000 and that’s exactly what I got and the dress hit all of my must haves! Obsessed! Plus their seamstress is unbelievable!! -

The team at Julie Allen Bridal was absolutely amazing to work with! We used them for my wedding dresses and all of my bridesmaids dresses, which were stunning! I second guessed my original dress 2 weeks before my big day and Jess, a consultants at Julie Allen was terrific when helping me look for a new dress. She was able to help me find a dress that I loved and it was beyond perfect for my big day!! I can’t thank the owner and her team enough for all that they did for me!! -

I cannot express enough how amazing these ladies are! First off they have an amazing selection of dresses and I absolutely loved mine!! The girls were so helpful and encouraging, I bought the second dress I tried on! Not only that but all my bridesmaids got their dresses here as well as my mother and mother-in-law! All of the girls were so helpful with getting my wedding party set up with dresses, rushing them here for us (you know, covid) and getting them altered perfectly making all my girls feel their absolute best!! What a team! Do not look anywhere else, do yourselves a favor and go right to Julie Allen for everything! -

My entire experience at Julie Allen was perfect from start to finish! With the COVID pandemic happening, I shopped alone, which I expected to be a saddening experience. Everyone was so welcoming, optimistic, and patient. They got to know me and asked a lot of questions to discover my vision. They made me feel special, valued, and excited to go with me on the journey to find my dress. I couldn’t be happier! They helped me to find a dress that makes me feel like a queen and is better than I ever expected to find. THANK YOU! -

Years ago, my mother bought her wedding two piece set from Julie Allen’s. I also lived down the street my whole life until I was 18. It was a no brainer for me to go there.
What I didn’t expect was the level of care I received from all the ladies I worked with through all the fittings. They must deal with a lot of people, and a lot of brides, on a daily basis. But they still make you feel so special, and somehow like you are the only bride there.
Thank you so much for my dream dress, and making the process so easy!! Definitely will be recommending them to any of my friends getting married. -

As a very indecisive person, I was worried about taking too long to find the perfect dress. After visiting other stores, and multiple trips to Julie Allen, I finally found my dress. I never felt rushed and they were always helpful & kind, especially with trying different options. The end result was a perfect dress that I felt comfortable & confident in :). -

Wonderful Experience!!
Julie Allen is AMAZING and there is a reason why they have been in business for so long!!! They have a wonderful selection of dresses and veils, fabulous bridal consultants, and amazing seamstresses. Their attention to detail and quality of service is above and beyond! For my initial appointment (in 2019!), I only had a small idea of what I was looking for. Lois, my bridal consultant, pulled a dress and my wedding dress ended up being the first one I tried on!! We tried on a few more and I ended up coming back and ordering that first dress. They were so patient the entire time. Unfortunately, my wedding was postponed (in 2020) and Julie Allen stored my dress for an entire year so it didn't get ruined (much appreciated!). When it was finally wedding time, they do alterations onsite and it is above and beyond. I was so impressed by the quality of work done. I love my dress and veil so much and got so many compliments on my wedding day!! Thank you, Julie Allen!! -
