  Photographers that make your day even better!

  Josiah and Steph are by far the best! They were recommended by our friends who had so many wonderful things to say about them and they were above and beyond the praise we heard. From the first phone call, Josiah connected with us and addressed all our concerns quickly putting us at ease. They were responsive and provided a timeline proposal which helped us plan the whole day including other vendor details. From an easy-to-use website, detailed questionnaire, reminder emails, and photograph locations with back up spots, they had it all covered. It was obvious they were invested in making the day go smoothly and ensuring they could document it in the best way without intruding on the intimate and special moments. On the day of, they showed up early and not only focused on photographing everything happening but were also so personal it was like we had known them for years. They handled the family photos expertly and quickly even with crying children. We can be awkward in photos, but Josiah and Steph made the wedding party portraits easy and actually enjoyable; we felt like we were laughing and genuinely smiling the whole time. When we got the photos back (in record time too), we were blown away. Every photo is a work of art that captured the true essence of our day and documented it in such a beautiful way. We could not get over the details in the pictures and how well they were all edited. They even took some film photos which have become some of our favorites! We have received so many compliments on our photos from our families and friends. They were also impressed with how well Josiah and Steph blended into the ceremony and reception while still being able to capture some of the most epic dance floor photos ever. Creating the album after has been simple and effortless. We know it will be the perfect keepsake for us and our family to remember our wedding day. It is clear they have a gift for photography and added such a lovely, fun and calming presence to our day! We would highly recommend Josiah and Steph for any photography needs.

  Beautiful Day, Beautiful Photos

  Make your lives a little less stressful when you are looking for a photographer and book Josiah & Steph. All the planning, the research, the phone calls with potential vendors for a wedding are stressful. This one doesn’t have to be. In our first interaction, at our engagement shoot, Josiah told us to be ourselves, and it works. When you have a photographer that lets you be you, and lets the love shine naturally, all the pictures come out perfectly. Every picture captures the love between you and your partner. At our wedding, he once again let us be ourselves, and you can see it in all the pictures. He captured the mood, the spirit, the love, everything, and every picture that we have turned out so beautifully. If I had unlimited wall space, I would frame and hang them all.

  We loved working with Josiah and Steph throughout the whole process. We had originally found them by looking at our venue and which photographers had shot there before. We were in love with the venue but wanted to make sure that we found the right photographer to capture the magic and sparkle of a winter wedding.   Absolutely Wonderful!

  Josiah & Steph are absolutely wonderful! They were extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. They work very hard to make couples feel comfortable and produce wonderful photos.   Josiah, Steph and their team were absolutely amazing to work with. From the very beginning at our engagement shoot up until the wedding day they made us feel so comfortable. They really take the time to get to know their couples. Their flexibility and creativity were definitely tested on our wedding day due to the weather but they improvised and were creative inside the venue and delivered the most amazing pictures we could have ever hoped for.

  the DREAM team!!

  Josiah, Steph, and their team are the ULTIMATE wedding photo/video dream team!! They are the perfect blend of professional and personal. They wear many hats before, during, and after your wedding in the best way possible. Josiah was so collaborative with helping create a timeline/schedule for the day and kept us on track. He was my point of contact from start to finish and was very supportive and cooperative throughout the whole process! Steph was my own personal fairy godmother on the wedding day always making sure my train was intact, my flowers were angled properly, and she even helped with my veil before walking down the aisle! Their team was everywhere yet nowhere the whole time and even acted as body guards when I had to hijack the men’s bathroom for the handicap stall. The whole day was seamless, everyone was easy to work with, and the team worked quickly to get me previews and the blog up for me to share with family & friends. Can’t wait for everything else to come in!!
  
  Overall, I HIGHLY recommend Josiah & Steph for anyone’s wedding day. They are so comfortable with what they do that it doesn’t even seem like a job for them.   Our experience with Josiah & Steph was truly amazing. From our initial conversation to the final delivery of our wedding photos and films, they exceeded our expectations in every single way.   10/10 Experience

  This is longggg overdue, but we are finally able to put into words what Josiah and Steph did for us. Look no further for your wedding photographers and videographers! We are not exaggerating when we say that Steph and Josiah were the best part of wedding planning. They had a very organized system for communication and kept us updated as to what to expect at regular intervals pre- and post-wedding. This is beyond important for those of us who have never planned a wedding before!
  
  They not only were incredibly professional, but they made us feel like family. They went out of their way to send us a card and sweet treat the week before the wedding, which brought a very stressed bride to tears. They were so personable and those little things that they did for us throughout the process mattered more to us than they will ever know. They also made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, not to mention they made every photo op so much fun!
  
  On wedding day, they were efficient, yet did not put the stress of the timeline on us. They let us enjoy the day and soak in every moment while keeping us on schedule. An extra surprise was that they put a sneak peak of our photos on an iPad slideshow on our dessert table at our reception - our guests loved this, and so did we!
  
  Their work did not stop on wedding day. They went out of their way to edit certain photos/videos that we requested, which was really above and beyond!   A Wonderful Experience

  Josiah and Steph were a wonderful team to work with. My fiancée secretly hired them to photograph the proposal! Immediately afterwards, they gave us an engagement shoot. The pictures are fantastic, and they were ready the same day for us to share with our family and friends. Josiah & Steph were so down-to-earth, and easy to work with. We didn't know what shots we wanted or needed, and they made us feel so comfortable. Thank you again!

  The Absolute Best

  Josiah & Steph are hands down the best photographers to work with. I got to see how amazing they were when they shot one of my best friend’s wedding. Once I saw their work and how personable they were, I immediately knew I wanted them as my photographer/videographer for my own wedding (and I wasn’t even engaged at the time)! Not only do they photograph everything beautifully, but they are SO easy to work. They made the whole process stress free and were always on top of everything! They even created a wedding day timeline for the whole day to make sure everything ran smoothly. Our photos are absolutely stunning! Josiah and Steph truly are truly incredible and I couldn’t imagine my wedding day without them! 10/10 recommend them!

  Best photographers ever!!

  There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing Josiah and Steph are! Josiah and I went to high school together and he’s always been incredibly talented. They also shot 2 of my best friends weddings within the last few years and I knew immediately that they were the only option for our engagement shoot and wedding day photos. From the thoughtful gifts and cards throughout the year leading up to the wedding to making sure we felt relaxed and comfortable on our wedding day Josiah and Steph couldn’t have been better. We truly felt like we had two of our friends with us all day! If you’re on the hunt for wedding photographers - Josiah and Steph are the ones for you!!!!!

  The most incredible photographers

  Josiah and Steph are incredible! I don’t even know where to begin with this review. I have too many great things to say about them! My husband and I met them at our close friend’s wedding. They were incredibly personable, professional, and organized. After seeing our friends photos, we knew we had to have them for our wedding. With Steph having just had a baby, Josiah shot our wedding weekend with another super talented photographer Kailey. They went above and beyond over our wedding weekend. Not only did they take photos, but they spent time getting to know us and our families. On the morning of the wedding, Josiah took my getting ready photos. He was so calm and helpful. He created such a relaxing and fun environment. Throughout the weekend, they also did a great job of blending into the crowd! There are so many moments that they captured where I didn’t even know they were around! I’m so grateful to have all of these photos. They also sent us all of our photos in less than a month. I don’t know anyone that got their photos that fast! We got to look at them while we were on our honeymoon, which was such a special moment for us! Thank you so much Josiah, Steph and Kailey. For anyone looking for wedding photographers, you absolutely have to hire them. It was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding weekend!

  Stress-free fun experience!

  Josiah and Steph are excellent photographers and a great team! They both were a pleasure to work with and made my husband and I feel very comfortable. To be honest, my husband was not looking forward to taking pictures but then realized shortly after the engagement shoot that it was not bad at all. With their prompting we were able to get many candid shots of us just being us! Everything went very smooth and was stress free for the both of us. Overall, great experience! I would highly recommend the investment in Josiah & Steph’s services.

  Absolutely perfect!!

  We used Josiah as our videographer & I have nothing but amazing things to say!! First off, Josiah is extremely sweet, kind & wonderful to work with. There was absolutely no stress involved & he was always quick to respond. He's extremely accommodating & wanted to make sure everything ran smooth :) On the day he always put me at ease & reassured me if I felt stressed. I haven't met his wife but I'm sure she is just as incredible! I would HIGHLY recommend Josiah & Steph to absolutely anyone planning their wedding :) We love you Josiah - thank you for everything!!!

  The best experience!

  I cannot express how grateful I am to Josiah and Steph for working with us for our wedding. It poured rain the day of our wedding and both Josiah and Steph were amazing. They were creative with their solutions to avoid the rain, flexible and patient enough to calm my nerves and truly saved our day. Every picture that they took for our wedding and engagement session turned out beautifully. Their online gallery is easy to use and share with friends. Josiah and Steph were communicative and and quick to respond to all of our concerns. They go above and beyond to make sure that your wedding experience is as smooth as possible. I would recommend Josiah and Steph to anyone!

  It is not an exaggeration to say that working with Josiah&Steph was the best decision we made for our wedding. The quality of their photos speak thousands of words for their craft and attention to detail. They are truly committed to their work, and were just as devoted to our desires for our photos from the engagement shoot through our wedding day. They were very professional, so kind and enthusiastic, and it was clear from day one they love what they do and it shows in their shoots. Ryan and Courtney (two of their photographers) had the BEST energy and went out of their way to not only capture beautiful photos of us as the couple, but also the venue, the details, the guests, and our family. They had a keen eye for detail and cared deeply about the things we did, even considering things we hadn’t thought of! This was also important to us as a couple with cultural heritage we wanted represented at our wedding and in our photos.   The best choice we made for our wedding

  Josiah and Steph were the best photographers we could have ever dreamed of. They are SO organized and so easy to work with. With all the chaos of wedding planning, they were the constant calm. I was nervous for our engagement shoot and thought it would be awkward, but they made us feel so comfortable and that got us ready for the big day. On the actual wedding day they kept everything moving, got through all the family pictures swiftly, and caught some amazing candids throughout the night. They asked if there was anyone special they should keep an eye on throughout the night and we mentioned that both of our grandmothers are our only living grandparents and if they can try to get some extra shots of them. It was so sweet and special for them to even ask that. We have so many amazing memories from that night AND extra special pictures of our grandmothers. I have since had 3 people at my wedding book them for their wedding because they are so great at what they do. We got our photos back after our wedding so quickly that we were able to share them with friends and family while the excitement from our wedding was still buzzing! Wedding planning is stressful and overwhelming, but picking Josiah and Steph as our wedding photographers was the easiest choice we made!

  Incredible Shots, Fun To Be Around On Your Wedding Day

  We hired Josiah & Steph for our September 2021 wedding and they were so great to work with! Even though we'd been engaged for a bit, Josiah insisted on meeting us for a session to take some photos and get comfortable with each other. (His philosophy is that he doesn't want you to meet on your wedding day, which makes so much sense in retrospect.) We wandered around Passyunk Ave and took some shots that were so nice we got an extra table at our reception just to show them off. My wife and I aren't very into PDA, but Josiah had an encouraging way of getting us to be comfortable enough with him to take a number of great shots that were both romantic and fun.
  
  This energy carried through to our wedding day, when they got some really wonderful photos of our party all while being flexible, organized, and super encouraging. Best of all, we already got the (1000+) photos back! Our florist loved them so much she used them in an ad with Philly Mag. Very excited to see our video as well. Thanks guys!!

  Top notch duo

  Josiah and Stephanie are fantastic. We met with them (pre-covid) and knew we had to hire them immediately. They are so kind and make you feel so comfortable in front of the camera no matter how awkward you are. They will travel wherever for for the engagement shoot and venue. I requested A LOT of pictures day of and they captured all of them and then more. Not only did they capture all the best moments from our wedding, they had the pictures edited and ready in 10 DAYS. The dance floor pictures are unreal and the lighting in the pictures are incredible. I would highly recommend them to all my friends and family!!

From the consultation call in the beginning, to fun questionnaires, to sending thoughtful cards in the mail, you can tell that they really care and want to put a personal touch on your experience. Although we typically aren't comfortable in front of the camera, Josiah did such an amazing job at guiding us on how to pose in a way that felt natural. The photos from both our engagement shoot and wedding are beautiful and we will treasure them forever. The photos from our wedding day in particular put the biggest smiles on our faces because it felt like we were reliving it and getting glimpses of other moments that we had missed amongst the craziness. They were also incredible in coordinating a live stream of our wedding for the guests that couldn't attend, and the results were so above and beyond anything we could have expected. We would highly recommend it to anyone that may have guests that are unable to attend. Although planning a wedding in the midst of a pandemic isn't easy, we felt like we were in such good hands and gained two great friends in the process.

  I am so happy we chose Josiah and Steph to shoot our wedding - they are simply the best. They are incredibly patient and kind throughout the entire scheduling and planning process and the photos ended up being PERFECT.   Best decision of our wedding!

  Josiah and Steph are incredibly talented photographers and videographers. The best thing was how comfortable they made us feel in front of the camera. This delivered photos and videos that captured our true, authentic selves. Josiah and Steph were also very strong communicators — super responsive over email, set expectations with an easy-to-follow schedule, and got along well with all our wedding vendors. Both were cool under pressure, easily adapting to last minute changes in our schedule. They were stress relievers on our wedding day and by the end of it they felt like family to us. I will be finding more excuses to hire them for other life events.
