  Wonderful engagement shoot!

  My fiance worked with Katie from Jon Fleming Photography for our surprise engagement shoot. She was very responsive, easy to work with, and wonderful the day of. She was so professional that I completely didn't see the photographer until my fiance was proposing and Katie popped up to take pictures! It was such a lovely surprise and the pictures are beautiful. Thank you for letting us remember such a special day and for capturing such beauty in every moment.

  I found Jon through Google, but was super professional and helped me tremendously for my surprise engagement in Georgetown, DC. I was coming from out of town, so provided location recs and the photos came out so nicely too! Thank you so much and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking! GG

  Amazing surprise proposal photos

  Jon took surprise proposal pictures for my now fiancé and I and we could not be happier with the photos! Jon is extremely service oriented and quick to respond which I really appreciated as it took a lot of the stress out of the planning process. The photos were absolutely gorgeous and he will also help you to plan your special day out/help with ideas to get the perfect scenic background. He even picked up flowers for my fiancé the night before so that he could bring them to the proposal for me without ruining the surprise! I can’t recommend Jon enough!

  So friendly and helpful with an exceptional eye for great framing!

  Jon is amazing! Creative with a great temperament and artistic without going over the top. He also knows how to coach you a bit and drives a golf cart like a pro!! He took some gorgeous engagement photos with our dogs and although we are still waiting for our wedding photos, he had a dozen printed out the night of and sent over a link with some previews three hours after the event. Truly incredible experience! Hire Jon!! (and get his photo booth too! Guests loved it!).

  Kind, Professional, and Responsive

  Jon is wonderful! He agreed to shoot my surprise proposal only three weeks out when the photographer I had booked months in advance canceled on me. He arrived early, coordinated closely with my friend and musician who were helping out, and even captured a cell phone video in addition to the beautiful pictures he provided. My fiance and I are so happy with the photos he took and especially happy to have the video forever. His prices are also very fair. I way over-researched proposal photographers and got overwhelmed, but look no further. Jon is a great choice and is also very responsive. He is also LGBTQ+ friendly!

  Jon exceeded expectations for surprise proposal

  I had a great experience with Jon and would highly recommend his services to others that are looking to hire a photographer for a surprise proposal. I contacted Jon through his website less than three weeks before I was planning to propose. I received a response within a few hours, had a call with him to work out the details within a few days. Jon had great suggestions for my proposal plan and was able to provide example images of other proposals he had captured at various locations. The examples he provided were very helpful in my planning and gave me assurance as to what the final product would look like.

  From proposal to wedding… Amazing service!

  We cannot recommend Jon enough! He photographed our proposal and wedding, and we were shocked at how quickly he got our photos back to us. He captured every angle of our wedding and I am so thankful we will be able to look back on our photos and remember all the details of our wedding day! The quality of his photos are amazing and he was very easy to communicate with. Our family and friends continue to rave about his work. Thank you so much for everything Jon!

  I came across Jon's website while searching for a photographer to capture my proposal to the love of my life. Jon was very helpful in recommending possible locations in Baltimore considering the fact that I wasn't a local. I was particularly satisfied with the prompt and helpful communication during the entire process. Jon sent us a set of initial pictures less than an hour after the proposal which we could immediately share with our friends and loved ones. Overall, I am very pleased with Jon's service and I highly recommend him to anyone hoping to have the special moments of their lives photographed.

  Exceptional!

  Jon is wonderful--we were so happy to work with him for our surprise engagement and wedding photoshoots. Jon is extremely communicative, transparent with pricing, and a true artist. We are in AWE of the photos he captured of our wedding...he turned around 1100 photos in 3.5 weeks...how lucky are we?

  Best Wedding Event Photographer!!!

  Jon comes highly recommend! The pictures came out AMAZING! My wife and I couldn't believe how good they captured the night's events. Every shot was framed and captured a part of the beautiful skyline. He was so professional and courteous, making sure that my wife and I got plenty of professional photoshoots in while capturing the candid pictures all throughout the night. Jon was also flexible in working with us, arriving early and began capturing pictures even before the event start time. Go with Jon and I promise you will not be disappointed! Thanks to Jon, we have pictures that will stay with us a lifetime!

  Jon is an excellent choice to fulfill your photography needs. He was very accommodating up until the very last minute. The bridge I was planning on crossing for my proposal was closed, but he was in constant communication with me and made last-minute changes. He did an excellent photography job too, providing me two sets of edits for the price of one that I was able to choose from. He even helped coordinate with a violinist that I ordered. Overall, Jon is the man to trust if you want to pull off the proposal of your dreams.

  Jon was nothing short of amazing! The photos are amazing and capture the atmosphere and environment so well. He made us feel so comfortable and supported our surprise proposal in such a quick and efficient manner. He is also the most professional and sweet photographer!

  Jon was nothing short of amazing! The photos are amazing and capture the atmosphere and environment so well. He made us feel so comfortable and supported our surprise proposal in such a quick and efficient manner. He is also the most professional and sweet photographer!

  Working with Jon was an absolute pleasure. I had shopped around the DC area before being directed to Jon by a professional photographer (family member). I fell in love with Jon’s work on his website. We communicated over the phone weeks before the event, the day before, and through email. He was charming and pleasant and kept me calm even when I worried about logistical issues such as weather ruining the surprise proposal. As someone who’d never been to DC before, Jon made it as easy as possible and made April 14th very special to me and my fiancée. I recommend Jon above all others.

  I could go on and on about how great Jon is! My husband and I were married by a US Senator and had to plan the entire event in two weeks! I was frantically trying to find a photographer to capture this monumental event in our lives when a friend referred Jon. He was immediately kind and attentive, I feel SO lucky he was available. He was extremely flexible and worked with us in every way possible. At the wedding, he knew exactly what shots to get and was absolutely wonderful! We LOVE the photos and our friends and family won't stop raving about how great they are. I would, and have, recommended him to anyone who would listen.
