  John is the man

  I've known John for years but only ever saw him DJ is a bar/club setting. We were super excited to have him be a part of our wedding night and HE DID NOT DISSAPOINT!!! If you want to dance floor to be the fun, focal point of your wedding then you need Johnny Hotcakes on the 1s & 2s.

  We never left the dance floor

  My wedding was 7/10/21, DJ Johnny Hotcakes did all of the music ceremony and reception. It went very smoothly and did not miss a beat. He worked with our venue coordinator to make sure each step of the wedding timeline was covered. When it was time to party his energy was impeccable. My family and I never got off the dance floor. We had been looking forward to this for 3 years so we were ready for the celebration & he delivered! He got our vibes and gave us the party we wanted. My wedding guests wanted his information to book him for their events. He was THAT amazing!!!

  We were beyond thrilled with johnny, he was absolutely amazing and made our wedding reception a hit! My husband was not initially on board with hiring a dj but afterwards he was thrilled that we hired Johnny, he said that Johnny definitely made the party a success. We were very impressed and so glad we hired him. Johnny went above and beyond, he went as far as taking the risk of putting his equipment on the beach for our ceremony and then moving it to the Briscoe king pavilion for the reception to make me happy. I cannot thank him enough!! Definitely worth more than what we paid! ❤

  I just got married last night, Johnny is amazing!! He has great music taste and timing. He did a few things I didn't know was coming and it made the party even better. I won't even get started on the custom mother son dance song he made for me. AAAA+++ for Mr hotcakes

  Wow. To me, it's the food and the DJ that make a party. Everything else can go wrong, but with good food and good music you're in business. Señor Hotcakes did not disappoint. He kept the party moving all night long. As the crowd got tired he shifted gears a bit and got them back out there on the dance floor. He was instrumental in the success of our wedding!

  Johnny Hotcakes was extremely prepared, professional and personable from our first meeting to the very last song played at the wedding. He was excited about our event and at our first meeting had a document for us to fill in our likes, dislikes, specific music etc for the event. His experience, creativity and wide knowledge and appreciation for all kinds of music resulted in a perfect party. My husband and I felt like he played just for us, our guests felt that he played for everyone and my 14-year daughter loved every minute of the party! In her words - He da bom.com! He was dressed professionally for the wedding and the service he provided was of exceptional quality. I can't imagine anyone but Johnny Hotcakes DJing our future celebrations. We are super pleased.

  There are literally no words to even describe how amazing this guy is.
  PERFECT doesn't even begin to describe him. My husband had one job, to find the DJ and when he told me his name I have to admit, I was leery! but he exceeded every expectation I could have ever had.
  He was on time, he DJ'ed my ceremony to and every detail that I wrote down he followed, down to the tapering off of the music and when to play what and even what volume I wanted the ceremony music played at since it was outdoors.
  He was friendly, hilarious and there was not one second or one song where somebody was not on the dance floor. Everybody had a blast, and commented repeatedly on how great he was. He danced, made jokes, got everyone involved and since we didn't have an event planner, he actually helped by keeping the night going and announcing when it was time to do what and was so helpful! He even did a keg stand with the groomsmen! He was so so so great. I would use him again for any event I had and I would, and will refer him to everybody! I almost felt like he was my friend by the end of the night! DON'T PICK ANYONE ELSE! You will not regret Johnny Hotcakes!!!!

  Johnny Hotcakes is the absolute best! At the time I began planning my wedding, I was asking around about DJs in the area. The only name I kept hearing over and over was Johnny Hotcakes. I thought, I have to have him then. Thankfully his services were available for the day of my wedding. When we first him, I immediately knew he was going to be amazing! He was so sweet and funny and truly interested in what my husband and I wanted and totally open to any ideas we had. He had so many awesome ideas and I just knew that he would have the party going. The wedding was perfect and he played everything we wanted and more! We all danced the night away!

  He was the best DJ ever!!..very professional ..i loved the fact that he sat at our dinner table with us to brain storm music and came up with our event timeline for our daughter's quince, polite ..most of all funny!..he's a down to earth type of person...we recommend him to everyone. .he's the "party" at the party lol!

  DJ Johnny Hotcakes was AMAZING!! Not only was he exceptional at reading the crowd and playing songs based on what the guests wanted, but he also reviewed our itinerary for the reception and directed Jason and I throughout the night. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable during the planning process. We would highly recommend him!!!

  Johnny is so awesome. He knew how important the music for our wedding was to us and he delivered! It was the one thing, I didn't have to worry about. And everyone loved him! Even my mother, the southern baptist was dancing! I highly recommend him for any event! He's the best!

  DJ Johnny Hotcakes is by far the best Dj we could have asked for our wedding. He knows his stuff! I had a huge list of songs for him to play and he managed to fit every one in perfectly and even threw in a surprise last song for just my grandfather, sister, and I. We will always cherish that moment. People are still talking about how wonderful a Dj he was/is.

  BEST DJ EVER!!! Johnny Hotcakes is an amazingly talented DJ. He is incredibly professional, laid back and super easy to get along with. It's pretty obvious how passionate he is about what he does. He really enjoys himself out there. He completely "gets" you and your style. He is very caring and listens openly to every question or concern you may have. He ROCKED our wedding and truly made our reception out of this world. It doesn't matter where your wedding is or what décor you have, so long as you have this guy as your DJ! I'll definitely be recommending him to everyone I know.

  He did a great job as a DJ. He was enthusiastic and involved the guests as much as he could. He played/did not play every song we asked/did not ask him to play. We gave him everything he needed ahead of time (order of events, play/do not play lists, etc.) and made our wedding worry free.
