  Jara was friendly, professional, easy to communicate with and even better to work with. She took careful notes during my trial before the wedding day so she could remember what worked, and adjust what didn't work as well. I love that she talked me into false eyelashes and a bolder eye look then I would have gone with - it looked amazing in pictures! She made my mother and my bridal party all look amazing as well. For how experienced and professional she is, I feel that the very reasonable rates she charged were an even better value than they seemed at first. I would recommend her to anyone!

  Jara is amazing! She knows what she is doing and she knows how to make you look and feel beautiful. She took notes at my trial, and after when I provided feedback so she was prepared for the wedding day. Not only is Jara a complete professional, but she is a lot of fun to hang out with and a great addition to your wedding day. Jara and her assistant did make up for me, 5 bridesmaids and 3 moms and everyone looked great.

  Jara is a very talented makeup artist who did a phenomenal job with my wedding makeup and for three of my bridesmaids! I knew immediately that I wanted to hire her after my makeup trial- she has a wealth of knowledge about makeup artistry, and she's a genuinely nice person who makes you feel completely at ease. When I decided to change a few things after my trial, she knew exactly what I was looking for and made me look beautiful! My makeup was PERFECT for many hours even though I felt like I was sweating a lot on a very hot day! She even includes a nice little touch-up kit for the day to keep your makeup looking flawless. I am so happy that I found Jara!!!

  Jara was amazing! She had excellent suggestions and was open and honest. Its clear that she has tons of knowledge and experience and is very skilled! My makeup didn't budge the whole day, which is amazing because i have very oily skin. Also, it didn't feel as though i had make up caked on my skin, which was another concern of mine. I would recommend her to anyone!

  So lucky to have found Jara! The makeup artist I booked a year in advance fell through and I was in a bind...found her a few weeks before the wedding and it worked out great. Will use her again for other special events!

  Jara was wonderful. She did make up for the entire bridal party, making sure that everyone felt comfortable (and I had some bridesmaids who were REALLY uncomfortable with make up). The pictures came out beautifully and I didn't feel like I was wearing a ton of make up on my face. It looked natural.

  I booked Jara for my bridal make-up back in September 2013.
  
  I did a lot of research, looking through hundreds of local artists' pictures in my area before I came across Jara's website. I loved her style!!!! I called and made a trial appointment with Jara. Once I see the magic she did, I was sold! She was friendly and made me feel comfortable during the trial, also she made sure to follow my requests on what I want on each detail (my eye shadow, my lashes, etc.). but she's not shy to tell you what you want might not bring out your best features.
  
  She's also very professional and understanding. I love that she was on-time even though she had to be at my house at 5:30 AM to get ready for me and my whole bridal party.
  
  I have recommended her to several of my friends who were getting married. She's simply amazing!!!!

  Jara did my makeup for my wedding, and let me tell you...when she handed me the mirror...I was SPEECHLESS! And for those who know me, that is quite the feat!
  
  She was great at communicating prior to the event, and returned each email promptly and always made sure each question was answered. On my wedding day, so arrived early, brought absolutely everything she needed and was so fun to spend the morning with as she transformed my face from sleepless fiance to stunning bride. The look on my husbands face when he saw me for the first time says it all...he cried!
  
  When my makeup was complete, she then went to work on a few of my friends. Each and every one of them LOVED her work as well. We all felt beautiful and looked stunning! We all also loved her high energy, knowledge of products, and laughter. She even recommended appropriate products for each of us which was so helpful!
  
  I love the little touch up kit she left with me and the instructions of how to keep my makeup looking super fresh throughout the day. Jara, I can't thank you enough for making me feel so great on my wedding day! For any bride out there, you would be LUCKY to have her! She makes your day, and makes you feel like every bride should...beautiful! Invest in Jara...she is SO WORTH IT!
