    Perfect Wedding Location

    I held a 40 person wedding at the Inn at Perry Cabin on 6/19/22. I am a picky person and my wedding exceeded expectations. The wedding coordination team answered all of my questions in advance so I was calm and relaxed the day of my wedding. The location is so beautiful that I could keep my floral decorations to a minimum. The day of event staff, bartenders, valet staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. I felt so special. Finally, the food was perfect - it was delicious and the presentation was phenomenal. I cannot wait to go back to the Inn at Perry Cabin for anniversary celebrations.

    Wonderful experience!

    My fiancé (now husband) and I booked this venue after postponing our larger wedding due to the current COVID-19 pandemic. We chose to have a small, intimate ceremony and reception with just immediate family. Emily Wilhelm, Catering Sales Manager, was extremely friendly and helpful! She was wonderful to work with, very responsive, always there via phone call or email. We were so impressed by everything. From the venue to the service to the rooms!
    Our small wedding was just for 8 guests so the ceremony was on the Point and the dinner was in the Miles Room. I thought my mom was going to have to decorate the room (since I didn't hire a wedding coordinator for such a small wedding), but the the Inn at Perry Cabin's employees took care of it! My mom couldn't stop talking about how great they were and thankful she was to have their assistance. The room was breathtaking, they did a phenomenal job! Everything was so perfect. We highly recommend this venue!

    Micro wedding

    We could not have picked a better wedding venue for our micro wedding. My husband and I both wanted a small wedding with only our immediate families so we decided to spend a long weekend at the Inn at Perry Cabin. We arrived on Thursday, got married on Friday, and stayed for the rest of the weekend. The venue is beautiful and the staff were amazing. Emily went above and beyond to make sure that everything went smoothly. We were able to relax and enjoy the weekend. We would recommend the Inn to anyone planning a wedding!

    Perfect Winter Micro Wedding!

    I cannot say enough about how the Inn made our weekend so special!! My husband and I ended up having to change our wedding date, venue and plans multiple times due to Covid. Right before Thanksgiving we decided we wanted to have a small wedding at the Inn rather than having to reschedule our original venue for a 3rd time.

    Our first date with the Inn was supposed to be Jan 1st. That ended up not happening because of last minute gathering restriction changes in St. Michael's. Emily was absolute amazing at helping us plan out first Jan 1st event in only 5 weeks and then quickly helped us find another winter date available. We decided to move forward with February 6th and the day couldn't have been anymore perfect! We had the most amazing "warm February" weather which allowed us to get married out by the water. We then moved into the ballroom for cocktail hour and our reception. We had the fireplace lit in the ballroom as well as Emily arranged for us to have a bonfire out on the patio right by the ballroom for a cigar area. It was the most cozy and perfect atmosphere! We had a total of 26 guests and I wouldn't change it for the world!

    The service at the Inn is one of the things that makes this place so special! They think of everything, make you feel so calm and welcome. We had a last minute room cancellation which is where Taylor and the guys were supposed to get ready, Emily worked with the front desk to have a suite available for them on the fly. Emily went above and beyond to make sure that everything went smoothly during our whole stay. She even helped us reserve space in Starrs for brunch the next morning. Taylor and I were able to relax and enjoy the WHOLE weekend. We would recommend the Inn to anyone planning a wedding no matter what size!

    Absolutely Spectacular!

    Words truly cannot express how exceptional the team at the Inn at Perry Cabin are. As soon as we decided to postpone the big wedding and hold an intimate ceremony and dinner with our siblings and parents - the inn was our place - with its stunning backdrop of the Chesapeake, its STUNNING garden dining area called “The Cove”, its gorgeous fleet, impeccable service, and truly remarkable facilities - the team jumped into gear and we were able to plan a wedding in 5 weeks seamlessly. The pool was amazing to relax by, the rooms were so clean and had beautiful views, the Pub is so fun for a laid back evening by the fire with such fun bartenders - and the food was absolutely delicious. It is such a beautiful and relaxing environment - we will be back every anniversary to celebrate!

    We have absolutely no complaints, if you’re looking to have a wedding or event large or small - they can absolutely accommodate whether it’s on the bay or land - and it will be ABOVE AND BEYOND expectation! You will feel welcomed, confident everything will go as planned because of the amazing staff, taken care of beyond measure, and leave grateful and relaxed!

    Emily, Wedding/Event Coordinator - from the beginning phone calls from my mom getting a general lay of the land, to her seamless transition of me taking over - she was our right hand and our day would not have happened without her. She communicated so well and quickly throughout this process, especially with frequent last minute changes due to COVID. She brought amazing ideas to the table, and worked diligently to make our day happen as efficiently and relaxed as possible. Working with Emily made the planning process so much fun and easy - she took everything she could off of my plate and helped us throughout the day. She was always available, set up all of our mementos at tables, place cards, etc. She was at the dock waiting to send us off and make sure we had food and drinks on the right boats, and greeted us at the dock when we came back. She truly made the day effortless and took care of so many details behind the scenes that my mom and I didn’t have to worry about anymore! She is such an amazing person and I feel so lucky to have gotten to work with her throughout the planning process and the day of!

    The captains - They organized such a great night out on the water. Their experience made for a perfectly timed evening coordinating 3 separate boats to tie together for the wedding ceremony - they made the night! They were so accommodating with everyone, helpful, and were so much fun to talk to. They felt like they were a part of the wedding all along! They also last minute threw in a zodiac boat so our photographer could take far away pictures of the ceremony! They were truly amazing and so much fun to be on the boats with - highly recommend them all for their experience and a great time!

    Ryan - the manager was amazing too! He consistently checked on us to make sure we were okay - and not in an annoying way! He made sure all of our luggage was secured and wedding gift bags were taken care of. We were a large and loud group and he made sure we were all situated and taken care of. He also ensured champagne and strawberries were delivered to us - he made us feel so welcomed and our stay/wedding was incredible because of his attention to detail and leadership!

    Shout outs to Vivienne and Scott! Scott did such a great job running around to all the hotel rooms to deliver welcome bags, and get all of our luggage to the rooms quickly. He was running around and his effort was noted! Vivienne was amazing too - she dealt with a lot of phone calls from antsy moms trying to get ready and into the rooms before the wedding and was so kind and understanding. We are grateful!!

    Absolutely magical wedding at the Inn at Perry Cabin!

    We had the most magical intimate micro wedding and weekend at the Inn at Perry Cabin this fall. From start to finish, the staff was a true pleasure to work with and they made sure every detail of our big day was perfect. An amazing tasting menu dinner, a stunning ceremony on a sailboat, and the best service ever - it was truly more than we could have dreamed. We can’t wait to go back!

    We were married here in October 2014. The Inn is a beautiful venue with many indoor and outdoor spaces available to suit every size wedding (we were about 65). The hotel rooms are wonderful. The service is outstanding. The food is the best you will ever have at a wedding. Tisha, the events manager, is very professional and easy to work with; she takes very good care of her clients. We couldn't have asked for a better person to work with. Every detail was attended to. The Inn does so much for you, you won't have to worry about a thing once you arrive. Not inexpensive, but worth every penny. This is definitely a place where you get what you pay for - first class all the way.

    Fell in love with this location and Lisa Frock made everything go smoothly and accommodated all our needs. All the staff from front desk to waitress were friendly helped us in every way they could. The Inn at Perry Cabin is a gorgeous location on it's own but the staff makes the wedding planning and event truly joyous and flawless.

    The Inn at Perry Cabin is an incredible place to have a wedding. Tisha, the culinary team, and the entire staff at the Inn were so accommodating, responsive, and professional. The days leading up to my wedding were so relaxing and enjoyable and the day itself went PERFECTLY. No joke. You get what you pay for at the Inn at Perry Cabin. You will not be disappointed!

    Beautiful venue

    The Inn at Perry Cabin is an amazing venue and hotel and absolutely exceeded our expectations for our wedding weekend. The onsite staff for our weekend - literally every person from the banquet team to the front desk to housekeeping - was incredibly kind and warm, and made our actual wedding weekend a dream.

    Like other reviewers, we had some frustrating challenges in the early stages of contracting and planning for reasons we really struggled to understand, and we wondered if they wanted our business.

    However, the staff who were actually responsible for hosting our guests and executing on our ceremony and receptions were extraordinary. Based on our experience, if you are interested in the Inn for your wedding, you should not let the early bumps keep you from an absolutely incredible event! It was an amazing weekend for us and our guests and we are very grateful to the onsite staff for facilitating such a wonderful and joyous celebration.

    Our wedding was absolutely gorgeous, we could not have had a better day (it seems like it was the one nice weekend in August this year!)! Laura and John were so thoughtful and detailed throughout the day and the planning. We did have a little bit of a communication struggle in the beginning with our original coordinator, but once Laura became our event coordinator everything went very smoothly and our entire wedding went off without a hitch! Our guests could not believe how beautiful the inn was, how amazing the food was, and how kind all of the staff members were - we wish we didn't have to leave! It was beyond amazing and everyone involved seemed to really want us to have just the best day possible, and we did! It was wonderful, and we're so glad to have had our wedding at the Inn at Perry Cabin with Laura and John and they're wonderful team!

    This is truly a breathtaking waterfront property located in the charming Eastern Shore town of St Michaels, Maryland. The team at Perry Cabin, led by Tisha, was totally outstanding during our wedding events. Nothing went wrong (not that I expected anything to!) and we were completely satisfied with every detail. Our guests were made to feel so welcome and relaxed, and we received so many compliments on the food! Kim, the Banquet Manager, and her team provided impeccable service at our dinner which made the evening even more memorable.

    Although the Inn at Perry Cabin is an absolutely beautiful venue, I had some issues with the "coordinator". Lisa and I had misunderstandings on more than one occasion. Many times she told me there was an ipod hookup in the room we would use for dinner, but not outside for the cocktail hour. The day of the wedding, she informed me that there was actually no ipod hookup in the room. Also, I got to St Michaels (from Seattle) on 7/24, with the wedding being on 7/25 and she did not meet with me until the morning of the wedding to show me different areas and go over things, which then made me late getting started on hair and makeup. Overall, she just didn't pay attention to detail, which is a pretty big thing for a wedding day if you ask me. I feel possibly if I had had a different person to work with, things would have been much better. They do an absolutely beautiful job with the decor, food and cake though. The taste and presentation of the food and cake is really out of this world!

    We loved so many things about our wedding day; the weather was perfect, the setting spectacular and many of the hotel staff from the housekeeping and groundskeepers to the servers and the chef were totally on top of their game. Michael, the banquet manager, was a gem; truly lovely person to work with and went above and beyond to help our day be wonderful. However, the staff we dealt with during the planning process only added to our stress; many of our emails/calls went unanswered, and when we did connect they would often forget conversations or promises made, and seemed generally disorganized and/or disinterested though they were pleasant enough to interact with. Perhaps would have been a better experience if we had had a wedding planner, but were given the impression we wouldn't need one. For the price, we expected more.

    Not worth the money charged. The event planner actually told me that weddings are not there primary revenue source and that they are not willing to accommodate a lot of requests unless we rented the entire hotel.
