    Dj was wonderful!

We hired Nick to be our DJ for our COVID wedding. He was amazing. He responded so quick and was so helpful! I was a lot to handle, and he walked me through every step of the process. He even cut us a deal on the package that we really wanted, but was a little out of our price range. He was friendly, very professional and elevated our wedding. I couldn't say enough good about him. He kept the crowd moving, and even busted out a couple dance moves himself! Hire him, you won't be disappointed.

    Get ready to DANCE!!!

DJ Moreno Black killed it. We had our DJ drop out last minute and not only did this DJ come through, but he impressed us! He was so professional and flexible. He did not have a lot of prep time and he still gave us a night to remember. The lighting made the venue look 100x better than it did without it. His music selection was on point. He played some oldies, some new ones and he kept the people dancing for sure! He was very family friendly and our guests loved him! He worked with our wedding coordinator and handled everything, making my day so much easier than I thought it would be. He worked with us on pricing and even added in some extras to our package to make the night even more special. I would recommend to anyone looking for a night filled with good music and lots of dancing. Thank you again, Nick! We are passing out your cards to our friends and family!

    Great Event

We had Nicholas for our wedding, we were very impressed with the setup. He truly made planning stress free and his attention to detail allowed us to fully enjoy our wedding day. Everything was perfect from lighting to song choices. He played all the cool songs that had everyone at the party dancing all night. He had a good mix of old school and new songs. I will be using Nick again for any future events. I would recommend him to anyone planning an event.

    Our Wedding Reception

We hired I Do Music Entertainment for our wedding. It was amazing. The lighting around our table made us stand out. The music was on point keeping everyone on their feet from the flower girl and ring bearer to our grandparents. Music was family friendly playing all the hits while keeping it classy. Nicholas was very professional, organized, detail oriented had the schedule for the arrivals of the wedding party cake cutting father/ daughter and son/mother dance. Nicholas even came out in his suit and even his tie matched my wedding colors. Nicholas and his assistant arrived early had his equipment set up and even helped set up the venue really making our wedding day go smoothly. The only down side was Nicholas doesn’t personally provide MC services which wasn’t a big deal he had microphones on hand so it was easy to find a close friend that could do it. I Do Music Entertainment was an affordable price we highly recommend will be hiring for all future parties.

    I Do Music Entertainment's reply:

Thank you for the amazing feedback Amanda. It was defiantly a night to remember. I do have people that can MC if advance notice is given. I apologize that I personally do not offer MC services for wedding events because it's a lot of responsibility and I want to give my full attention to DJing and keeping the dance floor packed.

    Till Next Time

I was excited to have music at my wedding but there was a lot of downtime without it and that became noticeable to my family who wanted to listen and dance to the music. They worked with me on the price and made it very affordable and played great music when they did. But it was more quietness then anything. I wish it was different, but I still enjoyed myself.

    Was a little dissapointed

Where you see **( or )** between sentences was my response to his. Please beware- He lacks serious professionalism!

    Hi Nicolas,

We have become aware of your response to my review and I have a few things to say in regards to everything:

    Jennifer,
I am so sorry you were disappointed with the experience that was provided. I thank you for your review so that I can see what I can work on. I hope you can use this for your next experience with a "DJ" so that maybe you can understand the vendor perspective on an event as well.

**I am well aware of the process in hiring vendors.**

Before I "DJ" any event, I always provide an engagement agreement so that certain conditions are met to create the best possible experience for all of my clients. You signed the agreement but unfortunately failed to meet some terms that were required. I did not complain but instead worked around these issues to provide you the best service that you deserved for your event. In the agreement mentioned above, I required two hours for set up **(Before agreeing to dj, you were well aware of the time frame- Please be aware I have text correspondence to further prove this)**. As a result of having just 1 hour to set up, it hindered my ability to fully set up all my equipment the way I normally do **(Considering you were the only one aware of the time constraint “you” would have setting up, further proves the you inability to manage time effectively. You assured me that the hour and 15 min set up would be more than enough time for your “equipment set-up”- again we have messages for this as well)** . While having just 1 hour to set up I didn't fully have the whole area to myself because you, your friends and family were simultaneously setting up in the same area as well **(When you came out to see the space, you were aware of how the set up would take place, as you were able to establish that the space provided was sufficient)**. This provided difficulties for me to work around as the lighting and speaker systems needed more room for the setup which I completed exactly in 65min but had dinner music playing before guest arrived. That, unfortunately, slowed down the setup, and for that, I sincerely apologize.

I don't believe I used a whole 45 min minutes to change, I was out about 15 min changing.**(Yes, you in fact were unavailable a total of 45 min. We searched for you for 20 min and then when we were finally toldyou were in your car, you were there for another 20-25 min)** I had to go in my car to finish changing because the men's bathroom only had one stall for the entire venue. That is why you likely saw me in my car. I am sorry that you were waiting to make announcements as that was not communicated to me at the time **(Whether it was communicated or not, we PAID you for a service for a certain amount of hours. If anything, you needing to change should have been conveyed to us, as again we were the clients and paid you for a service).**

Instead, I found out you were upset after my assistant
**(Girlfriend, not assistant)** heard you yelling at the door about how the DJ and bartender were ruining this day for you **(And she didn’t hear me say anything of that nature, because that is not what I felt at all)**. When that occurred, I rushed over to understand this issue and do what I could to help fix it. **(You never rushed over)**

Also, on the agreement that you signed, there were terms of payment. You gave the deposit in cash, and you knew that the rest of the payment was expected in cash as well, as it was stated in the contract. Furthermore, you said that a lot of DJ services were too expensive for you. To try and accommodate you, I gave you multiple discounts as long as you agreed to pay cash so that I could avoid any transaction /processing fees using credit cards **(I never stated no such thing. In fact I have messages stating that we had entrusted someone to seek the dj (a gift from the individual) who failed to realize the level of diversity in the guests that would require a dj to cater to both cultures. I was looking for a reasonably priced dj)** . On top of that, I upgraded you from the basic package to the silver package for free **(Please provide where it shows and or stated what package you upgraded me from for FREE, as in your earlier comment you stated you weren’t able to set anything up the way you had intended! So, which one is it?)**. I am sorry that having to get cash was a huge inconvenience to you, as I know it was a very busy day. Cash apps have caused problems for me in the past, and I did not want to encounter these problems again **(Having cash is an inconvenience to anyone. You are in a business in which to show proof of purchased via card is extremely important regardless of being able to provide a receipt. It is the 21st century and there are many services that are available to assist with this. Sounds more like you are trying to avoid paying fees that comes with Credit Card transactions)**. I gave you a digital receipt for your record-keeping.

The signed agreement also stated that full payment was expected before the dj'ing started **(This is something that a brief reminder would have helped. Again, considering how busy everything was, a nice reminder would have better in paying you even in cash as it was early in the event.)**. I had to text you twice and search for you to receive the payment when it should have been given on arrival before we unloaded the equipment **(Text me?! LOL, like I was walking around with my cell phone in my hand. You were clearly present at the exact event I was at, so please refrain from acting as if you weren’t going to get paid or had difficulties getting in contact with me.)** We waited almost 3 hours after arrival before we got paid. Until the payment was made, music that you chose was being played in the background for entertainment *****(So, from my understanding you refrained from “dj’ing” and doing the job you were paid to do because of payment (which you could have easily reminded it had to be paid prior)? Meaning for 3 hours (our event was only 4 hours) you did absolutely nothing and played our SPOTIFY playlist! YOU RUINED THE PARTY. So many people asked where did I find such a "terrible" dj and instantly felt awful.)******

The music recommendations that you gave were played and requests were also taken from guests. Unfortunately, the list you gave me, which included country and house music did not seem to entertain the guests who were younger and wanted more upbeat music to dance to. I tried to accommodate the diverse crowd with different genres, although not everyone liked the same music. **(The music that was provided was to be used as a REFERENCE. We gave you an idea of the diversity of music we had and there were plenty of songs that would have catered to everyone, yet you seem to not be well educated in the music profession to be able to shift songs accordingly. Furthermore, you didn't try to accommodate anyone but yourself as you clearly stated you let the playlist play for "background" entertainment due to not being paid at the beginning of the event, which again would have been handled accordingly as paying for a service is what we do.)***

Finally, providing good quality music for this kind of event takes some level of expertise to entertain the crowd so leaving a playlist on will not be as entertaining. **(That you clearly don't have)** You gave me your music playlist less than 3 weeks before the event. **(This was the exact time I was given to find a new dj, thus hiring youl)** I prepped and mixed music so that transitions were smooth for your event. Due to the high volume of requests from you and the guests, it was difficult to smoothly transition every song and genre. Lots of the requested songs were recently played also. Again, I am sorry you were dissatisfied with the service that I provided to you. I will take your feedback and be better next time. Please make sure you read the terms and conditions in a contract clearly for future events. Thank you for the experience, and good luck to you and your fiance.

******Finally, you inability to be professional shows greatly through your work. You managed to not do you job because a quick reminder was “too much” for you. You “texted” instead of walking up to me and speaking to me. Again, lacking professionalism!******

    All the best,

    Jennifer & Ruben
