    Maria Patte and the staff at the Hilton were very helpful. When we first booked, there were some changes in their food options as well as a room mix-up that worked in our favor. Maria was changing the dinner options and she let us choose from the new menu that included cake. When we finally picked our date, the room we originally wanted wasn’t available for an evening wedding so we were switched to another ballroom for the same price. Maria worked so hard to make sure our day was exactly what we wanted. The day of the wedding, our guests weren’t served wine with dinner and Maria apologized after once she found out.

    My stay could have been better, there was room for improvement however I was not disappointed. My only comment was that I repeatedly experienced a lack of presence. When I asked for assistance there was a long wait and at times I had to call down to follow up. However as mentioned this did not affect my stay too much.

    Was disappointed that things were not placed where we wanted, for instance, the cocktail tables and chairs. Everything was agreed upon before the wedding day, but wasn't carried out as planned on the actual day.

    The event coordinator (karoline) was nice & responsive, but as soon as we made our 1st deposit, things went downhill. She lied about not receiving my email. I didn't appreciate her telling me what not to have at my wedding. She was unorganized and when I asked her to email me with meeting minutes, she refused & said her notes are sufficient. I found out 2 months before my wedding date that the reception time was incorrect. I told Karoline I wanted to have a 6pm reception, she thought reception = cocktail hour! Who defines reception as cocktail? I complained and she was replaced w/ the director of catering, Janet, who was professional. She went above and beyond to make my wedding go smoothly; even helped me moved up my reception time. The reception started out fine until we were served the salad. We had to remind the staff to bring out the cheese. Toasting was a chaos cuz the staff didn't pour the champagnes for everyone until we told them. I found out the groom's mom was missing a piece of chicken on her entree. None of the special meals were delivered to my guests. Hilton said my complaint is not valid because it's way past my wedding date. They never took in the consideration that I went on my honeymoon for two weeks and had to settle in. I think it's reasonable for me to shoot an email 3 weeks later about any complains. How does one bride/groom supposed to know all the feedbacks after just one night? Hilton also said they were shocked to receive such complaints from us because we told the captain of our wedding night: "everything is fine". Don't you think it is an unfair statement; what guest would go up to the bride/groom & complain about the wedding? My guests kept it quiet out of courtesy! The only reason why my guests had a good time is NOT because of Hilton's service, but because of my other entertainment provided by my other vendors. DON'T have your reception here. Service at Pasadena Hilton is unacceptable.
