As a bride planning a destination wedding, I can say without a doubt that Janelle was one of the best decisions we made. We hired her for month-of coordination, but she went so far beyond that. From our very first meeting, I could tell she had her stuff together. She clearly explained her services, asked thoughtful questions, offered specific examples of how she could support me, and was just overall very personable and got me excited about wedding planning. She really worked with us and tailored her package to meet our needs instead of offering a one-size-fits-all plan and she adjusted things along the way as new needs came up.
When I couldn’t find a flower wall that worked for our vision or budget, Janelle didn’t just send over vendor links; she bought the flower wall we had been eyeing, so we could rent it directly from her. She also let us rent other decor, received and stored packages for us, and saved us the hassle of shipping or packing bulky items. That alone saved us so much time, money, and stress.
About a week before the wedding, we hit a panic moment realizing we didn’t have a solid plan for getting alcohol to the venue (since the venue didn’t provide any). Without hesitation, Janelle stepped in. She helped us finalize our bar menu, handled the inventory, shopped for everything, and personally brought it to the venue. It wasn’t even a thought I had to think on the wedding day.
She also coordinated guest transportation via a charter bus, since everyone flew into Florida. She managed vendor questions, even when they called or messaged me on the wedding day - I kindly sent them her way, and the problem was solved. She even helped with our pre- and post-wedding events. On the wedding day, Janelle and her team were everywhere: setting up decor, checking on vendors, handing out programs and petals, finding family, and even reminding me I almost walked down the aisle without my veil, then running to get it before my song started. (Shout out to Bianca @atouchofmerce for sprinting and saving the moment and being so helpful on that day!)
Janelle even handled breakfast and lunch pick-up for me and the bridal party, and brought us coffee that morning, She took care of my late-night snack food deliveries and set up during the reception while still managing the timeline. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare. At the end of the night, she and her team packed everything up neatly and made sure all our belongings were accounted for, which was a godsend, mainly because no one in my family lived in Florida - everything needed to be accounted for
Janelle let me and my husband actually enjoy our wedding. She’s organized, kind, fun, resourceful, and truly cares. WeI are both planners at heart, with backgrounds in events and operations. We went into this thinking we could handle it all, and we initially hired a coordinator just to ensure things flowed on the day-of. But Janelle turned out to be so much more than that. She helped us stay on track on the way, find solutions, and think through logistics in a way that felt collaborative, not overwhelming. And on the wedding day she and her team handled it all. We were so grateful to have had her by our side.

We hired Janelle at the last minute. That was the best decision ever. Over 170 guest and the talked about the decor the entire night. Absolutely fabulous, she and her team professional, on time and she went beyond our expectations. Any other event Heartz Unfold. Thank you so much for making our day all it could be. -

Janelle and the team at Heartz Unfold Events are just spectacular to work with. You could feel the love they put into our event. Every email or text was quickly responded to and the problem or question instantly solved. She went above and beyond and added her own special details.
