Debra and her staff were WONDERFUL! Initially when we went to the tasting we were a little nervous, but whatever we didn't like or want, she took notes and exceeded our expectations on the day of. The food turned out truly amazing. The private chef was wonderful. They set up beautifully. They made appetizers which were amazing. We had bacon wrapped scallops which were to die for as well as coconut shrimp. We told her that we wanted the bacon crisp and they made it perfectly. These appetizers were passed around in an orderly fashion. The wait staff was friendly and made us feel truly special. The bartender did a great job with the drinks that we had pre-made. Everyone was talking about how much they enjoyed their meals and how beautiful they had our reception set up with the private chef. We will definitely recommend Harry's Continental Kitchen and especially the grouper.Sent on 11/27/2015

As two self-proclaimed foodies, we have high standards and could not have been happier. Harry's was on the high end of all the caterers we looked at. But we still feel that the value that we received in terms of the food quality, presentation, and service were worth EVERY extra penny. The food was incredible, and it was expertly prepared. We opted for chef stations as a nice mix between plated and a buffet. For our proteins we went with Hogfish over Champagne Parmesan Risotto, Grilled Tenderloin of Beef, and Chicken Dijon. All of them were amazing and perfectly prepared, including the beef at a great medium rare (not overcooked at all as so often happens with catering). For side we chose roasted root vegetables, orange glazed carrots, green beans almondine, and potato lyonaise.
Harry's also catered a portion of our desserts including individual portioned carrot cake, which was one of the biggest hits of the night, apple galletes and cheesecake. All of which were also amazing.
Service was also exceptional. It was important to us that our guests not need to wait for food, to ever have an empty water glass, or for things like dirty plates to sit on the table and Harry's delivered on all of these expectations. But they were also all VERY nice as well which was great!

We rented out the restaurant for our reception and it was a romantic and delicious evening for all. Harry's is award-winning and you will not find a more exquisite menu for a wedding reception. Harry made our wedding cake and it was divine! All of our guests were so impressed, many went back to Harry's for breakfast and lunch during their stay on Longboat Key. Our family has had Harry's catering services as well as dined at their sweet restaurant for years, and we were thrilled to have Harry and his professional and friendly staff as part of our wedding day. Everyone is still talking about the amazing food from our wedding! From the first tasting, we knew it was going to be exquisite and we were not disappointed! Paula, our wedding coordinator, really took the time to get to know us and what our priorities were for the day. She helped us with everything from the design of the room to the rentals that we chose. Our day could not have been more perfect thanks to Paula, Ian, and the whole team from Harry's. Harry's provided catering at our villa for both a beach picnic and then an evening reception. The food was delicious and we got lots of compliments on it. They were quite expensive but the food was very tasty and we ate some for lunch the next day too!Sent on 06/19/2012
