  Hank's is amazing!

  Going into wedding planning, the only food I knew I didn't want was BBQ, so I overlooked Hank's initially. I was getting so frustrated with the pricing options that I was REALLY close to just getting sandwich platters from a local deli. Then our baker, Buttercream Dreams, actually recommended Hank's - their pricing is super reasonable, especially with the crazy wedding markups, and they have more than just BBQ. We did a tasting, and it was lovely - the food was all amazing, and they sat down with us and listened to our needs. Very accommodating for allergies and diet restrictions. They have options for plated dinners, buffet, and food truck - we did the buffet! It also included a cheese and veggie platter and drink station. We used their bartender as well, though we provided the alcohol, and they were great at following the instructions for the specialty drinks my husband came up with. On the day of, they were timely, set up and broke down quickly (they were very familiar with the venue, a huge plus). The catering staff were SO nice to us - I didn't realize how important that would be but they went out of their way to be just kind human beings and that made the night even more perfect. They even made sure we got the cherry preserves on our cake slices that we wanted, and that they were on the right cake flavors! Which is a truly random request. We will definitely be stopping by their restaurant again in the future! We got so much for the price and cannot recommend them more.

  Absolutely delicious and professional service

  Hank's BBQ catered our wedding for 80 people in a barn venue and they were incredible. The food was amazing and we and our guests were stuffed. We had whiskey BBQ chicken, pulled pork, loaded baked potato salad (a must), mac and cheese, rolls, and salad and there are BBQ portobello mushrooms by the pan for vegetarians. We were very impressed with the professionalism of the catering staff the day of the wedding (servers to clear, manage, the buffet, and a for-hire bartender). Sabrina, the catering manager, was very easy to work with.
  
  It was very affordable for 80 people. BUDGET HACK: they include place settings, cups, and dessert settings FOR FREE and an option is bamboo was very sturdy for the mountain of BBQ your guests are about to eat and looked great in photos. This is a steal of a deal!

  A great experience in every aspect!

  Hank's catered our wedding in June 2022, and we could not have been happier with that decision! Sabrina was extremely helpful the whole way through, and working with her made everything food related go so smoothly. We purchased their bar package as well and couldn't have been more happy with how seems everything worked with the food and drink. We received so many complements from guests about how good the food was, and the amazing service staff was so kind and professional. Definitely a top-tier catering company!

  Great BBQ and vegetarian options

  Hank's catered our Stanley, VA wedding and was great from start to finish. They answered our many questions on building the menu that fit our event. They put together a delicious tasting and were honest with us when we had gotten a bit over ambitious with the amount of food. And they accommodated a late night snack and having staff stay to clean up. The food was absolutely delicious and got rave reviews from the attendees. In particular, we were very happy with the vegetarian jambalaya, one of a number of great vegetarian options from this BBQ joint. The pork was also delicious, the sides were great, and the bar package was affordable and fun to put together. Would highly recommend them for your wedding!

  Delicious food. Great to work with

  Hanks was so delicious and so easy to work with. We had to change our date a few times due to COVID, and Sabrina was so accommodating and kind. The food was delicious and even our professional chef friends were impressed. The staff was professional, timely, and helpful. We would highly recommend Hanks for your big day!

  Best BBQ Hand's Down!

  Hank's is not only wonderful to work with, but the food is absolutely to die for. We still get comments about how amazing the food was, especially the brisket. You want to keep your guests well fed and Hank's is the best to do it. Sabrina was super easy to communicate with and we never had to worry about her getting back to us. Everything was quick and seamless. They offered us a wide range of food for anyone with an allergy and they even let us come do the tasting before we signed the contract which clearly sealed the deal. We also needed to find a bartender and Hank's was happy let us use a bartender for our venue as well. So overall, food is tasty, easy to work with, and very affordable for a wedding. They do it all!

  Outstanding Wedding Caterer!

  Hank’s catered our daughter’s wedding in Harrisonburg, VA in late September, 2021. They were a pleasure to work with, provided delicious food and worked well with other vendors to make everything run smoothly. Both the appetizers and the dinner buffet were displayed attractively and many guests commented that they thought the food was excellent! Hank’s also provided bartending and the bartender was great! We highly recommend Hank’s!

  Excellent Food and Service for our Wedding Reception

  We hired Hank's for our the food and bartender services for our wedding reception. From the moment I contacted Hank's their professionalism and quick response time could not be beat. We choose their Southwest Bar buffet for our dinner with a salsa bar appetizer table. The food was outstanding! And the layout of the table was beautiful! We choose to use plastic tableware for the tables and it looked beautiful! We received so much comments from our guests on how good the food was. The staff constantly checked on our guests and cleared the tables. The bartender was efficient and there was never a line. The staff packed up the food and bar for us, which was a huge plus for us. I highly recommend Hank's to cater your next event or wedding!

  We used Hank's Catering for our May 15 wedding. Booking their catering services was an easy process and so was selecting our menu. We are so grateful for them working with us through our postponement due to COVID-19, and scheduling our new date with no extra fees. Sabrina and Team were a delight to work with leading up to and on the day of, we didn't have to worry about a thing! After dinner was served, they packaged all of the leftovers for us to take and continue to enjoy after the reception. We will recommend Hank's over and over again!
  
  You can't go wrong with any of their food options. Definitely choose their Juniper Chicken, it's absolutely delicious.

  Delicious Food

  Both the food and service were wonderful on our wedding day. They were a pleasure to communicate and work with. We had BBQ style food and everyone thought it was absolutely delicious. There were also special accommodations made for those with food intolerances. Guests still can’t get over how delicious the food was. Definitely recommend Hank’s catering!

  Hanks was a hit!

  I cannot possible say enough good things about Hanks in this little blurb. First of all, their service, responsiveness, communication, and value for what you get is unmatched. I had an unsettling experience with a different catering vendor prior, and the Hanks team was just absolutely amazing. Secondly, their food was just outstanding. As the Bride, I throughly enjoyed my meal and I know our guests did as well. They have a variety of options and everything tasted great. When it comes to a wedding, food is important. You are spending a lot of money to serve your nearest and dearest and at the end of the day you want it to taste good and have plenty of options for all to enjoy. We ordered BBQ, but they also had many sides to choose from for vegetarian options, in addition to gluten free. Food was hot, flavorful, and at the end of the day exactly what we were looking for. We also had them do cocktail hour and desserts (not the cake but other desserts) and those were equally delicious! And the Bar package, let me just say the bar tender was unmatched in customer service and the signature drinks we had are still being talked about and I am sure will be talked about for years to come. Our guests had a great time, and she was quick and efficient with serving.
  
  I cannot say enough about their customer service. They were a JOY to work with, and Sabrina was just outstanding. Planning a COVID wedding is stressful to say the least, and their understanding made everything that much easier.
  
  Furthermore, somewhere in the planning, I needed to add a Sunday Brunch. I asked Hank's if they had the ability to do so and they did! Brunch was ALSO amazing! I'm not sure how they do it all, from BBQ to drinks to breakfast, but let me tell you they are the ones to hire if you want something that tastes good and want to have you guests happy. And at the end of the day they were more than cost effective. We were the happiest couple that they were apart of our day. Thanks!

  Absolutely delicious!

  Hank's catered for a wedding I recently photographed. The food was absolutely delicious and filled me with enough fuel to make it to the end of the night! They were also super fast in serving and kind to me throughout the evening. I absolutely recommend them for catering!

  Great service, great food

  Hank's catered our wedding rehearsal dinner and did a great job! The food was delicious and ready to serve as soon as the dinner started. The staff was also very friendly and they were always very responsive via e-mail. I would definitely recommend Hanks to anybody looking for a wedding caterer!

  Best Bang for your Buck!!

  We actually didn't have the opportunity to work with Hank's on our wedding day. Due to the pandemic, we opted to cancel our October 2020 wedding date at our venue and do a small backyard wedding instead. However, our experience with Hank's was awesome!
  
  We made an appointment to try their food and plan our menu. Sabrina, the brand manager, was very professional and guided us through our options. I am pretty picky about barbecue. However, the food was delicious and because they had worked with our venue before, she could walk us through how the day would go. She was also able to give money saving suggestions to help us along the way!
  
  We looked at A LOT of caterers. No one could match Hank's pricing. They also had the smallest deposit out of all of our vendors, and they were the only vendor to give us any of our deposit back when we canceled our wedding date. I hope to find a way to work with them in the future!!

  We made an appointment to try their food and plan our menu. Sabrina, the brand manager, was very professional and guided us through our options. I am pretty picky about barbecue. However, the food was delicious and because they had worked with our venue before, she could walk us through how the day would go. She was also able to give money saving suggestions to help us along the way!
  
  We looked at A LOT of caterers. No one could match Hank's pricing. They also had the smallest deposit out of all of our vendors, and they were the only vendor to give us any of our deposit back when we canceled our wedding date. I hope to find a way to work with them in the future!!

  An amazing meal & experience despite our Covid changes

  We hired Hank's as our caterer for our destination wedding from PA to VA. We had such a great time at our tasting & everything was delicious! My fiance could not stop talking about their two different briskets! We worked with Sabrina throughout. She was always so friendly & responsive! Mid-pandemic, we decided to change our wedding to a small ceremony with a nice dinner for the 2 of us. Sabrina was very happy to accommodate us. She created an awesome menu. After our ceremony our dinner was delivered & plated for us by the chef! Our food was amazing! What a fantastic experience!

  Hank’s does a wonderful job with their catering! Sabrina was organized and readily available to answer any questions from our initial tasting right up until the week of the wedding. The catering crew on our wedding day worked efficiently and provided a great meal to our guests. The food was delicious! We would highly recommend working with Hank’s - they are a staple in the Shenandoah Valley and we were able to easily see why so many people choose them to provide the food for their events.

  Absolutely Amazing

  Absolutely amazing. You know when the owners of your venus say that the food was also amazing you have chosen the right place. Price was better than other places we had tried. They brought everything and we didnt have to worry about anything. Would highly recommend.

  Great catering service

  We used Hanks Catering for our wedding in November which was located on a farm. Their service was excellent, and the food was delicious. Their bartender also did an awesome job.

  The BEST wedding BBQ !!!

  Hank’s did an awesome job with our September wedding! We had happy hour appetizers, a dinner buffet with pulled pork and brisket and cake cutting through them! The plate-wear they provided was beautiful and it went so beautifully with our decorations! The brisket was to die for!! And they boxed up the left overs that we got to enjoy later that night and the next day!
