Dana Abrams of the Haber Event Group did an amazing job as the Day of Coordinator for our daughter’s June 2014 wedding at The Adamson House in Malibu. Dana’s experience, patience and organization were exceptional and she was integral to the success of the day. The entire event was seamless. Dana and her assistant were everywhere at once and every detail was handled in a flawless way. Dana led the stress free rehearsal and the ceremony flowed perfectly. Most of all, Dana gave us the peace of mind that all would be handled perfectly so that we could really enjoy the day!
Dana was very available to answers questions ahead of time and was a valuable resource in recommending some of the vendors. We knew we weren’t leaving “anything out” since Dana was with my daughter for all the final walk throughs. Dana was a valuable resource in planning the ceremony and ensuring that the set up at the actual event went smoothly.
Dana’s experience with the quirks of The Adamson House were a tremendous asset and she also had worked with many of the vendors we had chosen. Dana’s thoroughness in coordinating with the other vendors during the days before and day of kept everyone on the same page. Dana was a delight to work with and we were in excellent hands.

Wow! I don't know where to begin. This is like writing a review for a family member. Marni and Dana were with us from the beginning and we truly believe they were a blessing from God.
Marni took multiple trips with us to Santa Barbara (the site of our wedding) to help us pick out our vendors. She met with us personally on almost a monthly basis. She gave us her phone number and was prompt with all responses. She provided great options for all vendors. Her insight into the party planning business is incredible.
Marni was a calming presence throughout our entire engagement. People would ask us frequently if we were stressed about the wedding, and we never were. We believe this was largely due to the planning and dedication of Marni and Dana.

Marni was the wedding planner for my son's wedding in Monticito. She handled everything for them from the beginning to the last person leaving that night. I live across the country and she kept me informed of any details I needed. I would highly recommend her services to anyone for any event.
Last month I was the proud father of the bride for a Saturday wedding scheduled at 4:30 about an hour away from our hotel and a long ways from any kind of services. About noon that day I put on my tux and reached down for a box on the floor, splitting the pants all the way up the back. The tux wasn't a rental and had traveled a couple of thousand miles just for the wedding. Although I figured that nothing could be done about it, I told the wedding planner about my predicament and headed up to the venue fully prepared to spend the afternoon and evening with my back against various walls. But by the time I got to the site, the planner was there with no less than three different pairs of tux pants to try. I settled on one that fit far better than my own and then had one of the most thoroughly enjoyable days of my life. I still don't have a clue how she managed to accomplish that while still making sure that the rest of the planning came off without a hitch. But she did.

When I started planning, it was all so overwhelming...from trying to find a venue, to booking all the vendors, and everything in between. We live near Santa Monica and wanted to have an outdoor wedding. Dana helped us find the perfect place in Temescal Gateway Park. Once that was done, she was just a constant calming presence, who supplied us with all the information and contacts we needed. I got married a couple weeks ago at Shutters on the Beach in Santa Monica, California - Dana was my wedding planner. From the moment I met Dana I fell in love with her energy. She is wonderful. She kept me (the crazy bride) calm the entire time. I felt so comfortable knowing Dana was looking out for me. Whenever I sent Dana an email throughout the 10 month planning process, she emailed me back immediately. When I started to go a little crazy closer to the time, Dana made sure everything was taken care of. Dana kept my family calm as well, which was not an easy task. From the moment I met Dana, I loved her. I am definitely going to recommend the Haber Event Group to my girlfriends. There were so many details and lists of things to keep track of. Dana did this all for me, and so much of my beautiful wedding I owe to Dana. On the day of the wedding, I was able to focus entirely on getting ready and everything else was perfectly handled by Dana and her team. I was able to focus on my hair and makeup, while Dana made sure everything was taken care of. The ceremony site was perfect and the reception room was everything I imagined and more. My wife and I got married in October at St. Monica’s, and had the reception at the Fairmont in Santa Monica. We found Dana online, and could not be happier that we chose Haber Event Group to plan our wedding. We met in a coffee shop and she was very helpful in explaining the different options and packages, as well as setting our expectations for budgets, venues, number of people, etc. We felt very comfortable with her from the start, Dana and her sister do not have the feel of a large cookie cutter event planning group(which we did not want!). I know they had other clients, but it never felt that way to us.
My wife and I are extremely busy, and there was no way we could have planned our own wedding. Dana stepped in and exceeded our expectations over the next 6 months. She catered to our schedule, presented us with options, made recommendations, and gave us all the information we needed to make the right decisions for us. She managed the budget, was the interface to all vendors, and was aware of every detail that required attention.
We chose the Fairmont in Santa Monica for our reception, and our day was wonderful, it went off without a hitch. Dana had every detail planned ahead of time, and we didn’t feel overwhelmed at all on our wedding day.
We could not be happier that we chose Dana to plan our wedding. She was a delight to work with, and made our wedding day everything we wanted it to be.
Dana did a great job planning our wedding. She was very accomodating to all our needs, and was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and helpful with suggestions and creative ideas. At first, my husband and I didn't think we needed a wedding coordinator, but after seeing Dana in action, we are so glad we hired her! It was a blessing to have her handle all the details so that my family and I could actually be guests at our own wedding, and enjoy the day from start to finish.
OMG! Picking Haber Event Group (and the amazing Dana) was the absolute second best decision we made -- second only to deciding to marry each other. We used Dana's services just for the day of our wedding, and I am so glad we did. She took such good care of us not only on our wedding day but also in the days leading up to the wedding. She handled all the contacts with our vendors and created a great timeline. On the day of our wedding she made sure all the needs of our wedding party were met. She even had the caterer bring drinks and appetizers to the wedding party while we took photos. It was such a comfort to have her at our wedding taking care of all the behind the scenes things so that our wedding ran smoothly. Dana even drove my husband and me to our hotel after the reception since we had forgotten to find a ride for ourselves.
Dana's sense of calm and organizational skills REALLY helped make our wedding stress free. Haber Event Group coordinated my destination wedding in Santa Barbara (my fiance and I live in Boston) and they made our experience so much fun and so stress-free! They were invaluable on the wedding day and leading up to it!!! They had great ideas about everything from aesthetics to dealing with divorced parents during the ceremony--and everything went off without a hitch. They did a great job working with our vendors and keeping us super organized. From the smallest details (making sure friends and family had their "borrowed, blue, etc." keepsakes returned to them during the reception) to the big picture--making sure the overall vibe and experience was relaxing and fun--they were great. To brides out there who want to work with a coordinator who's warm and fun, totally positive, and very professional and efficient and will really listen to your vision for your day, I would totally recommend Haber Event Group. I got married at Valley Beth Shalom in June 2009 in the Winer Chapel. Dana was an enormous help with coordination and organization. She thought to ask the most important questions to insure my special day was very special. Dana helped me plan our reception at Oliva Trattoria in Sherman Oaks. That beautiful restaurant was the perfect place for us to celebrate! Dana insured that every detail was perfect and she handled herself in the most kind and professional manner.
