  Exceptional service and design!

  My (now husband) Rian and I worked with Erich to design a custom shadow wedding band for my vintage heirloom 1973 engagement ring made by my grandfather, using some sapphires and diamonds I had in another ring I had inherited from him. In addition to the band coming out even more perfect than I had imagined, the experience was absolutely stellar. Coming from a family of jewelers, I had extremely high expectations that were met and surpassed at every point! Erich showed such care and curiosity about our very precious pieces and the stories behind them, and designed a ring that perfectly matches my vintage piece. Erich also cleaned, polished, and and inspected both my engagement ring and my husband's vintage band so that everything looked brand new on our wedding day. In my family, it's important to have a jeweler that you can return to time and time again to keep your pieces in top shape and I know we have found that with Green Lake! We look forward to working with them for years to come!!

  Gorgeous custom (and semi-custom) work!

  We have loved the experience at Green Lake Jewelry works and more importantly, we LOVE their designs. He chose one of their designs and an already made ring and then customized the center stone to create something truly unique for me. They’ve been great at helping us with sizing afterwards and figuring out other things for other jewelry projects too.

  Beautiful rings and great service

  We bought my husband's wedding ring here and we are so grateful for the amazing service we got from our ring designer, Vinh. He walked us through all kinds of different styles, talked us through all kinds of ways to design the ring we envisioned, and helped us stick within our price range throughout the process. The team was so helpful and respectful at every visit - including serving us coffee :) They also let us come in a few days before our wedding to polish my husband's ring and my engagement and wedding rings, even though we didn't purchase mine through them. We're so happy with the beautiful ring they designed, thank you!

  Perfect engagement and wedding rings

  Green Lake Jewelry Works have a beautiful show room and lovely pieces. We had a very enjoyable appointment trying on rings, and Vinh was very responsive to our preferences and made great suggestions. I ended up designing my own piece that turned out beautifully, but felt like I could have happily purchased something in the store on the day of. The design process was easy and fun, and we’re so happy with how it turned out.

  Incredible Customer Service and Unlimited Ring Options!

  We had a phenomenal experience at Green Lake Jewelry Works, and it was largely due to Christine, the designer we worked with. If you want an engagement ring and the best customer service imaginable, find Christine IMMEDIATELY!
  
  We stopped by on a whim after having mediocre experiences at other jewelers. Christine greeted us cheerfully and spent the next hour and a half enthusiastically showing us design ideas and stones. We never felt pressured at all, and instead felt like we were in the company of someone who was just so excited to share. Christine made the whole experience so incredibly fun, and the ring is more perfect than we could have imagined.
  
  The ring design process takes about 6-8 weeks from start to finish, and you get to be part of the whole journey - from the initial sketches to a wax model to the finished product, you get to see your dream ring come to life.
  
  Oh, and did I mention that they can make literally any ring you want? From a simple solitaire to a much more complex design, the sky is the limit here.

  Obsessed with our rings!

  My husband worked with Ellen to design my engagement ring, and we went back to both design our wedding bands. We're so pleased with them - I cannot recommend Green Lake enough. We did most of the process from Georgia, and I can't believe how seamless everything was! If you're looking for a truly original engagement ring or wedding band, look no further than Green Lake.

  Wonderful artisans doing beautiful work

  I can't recommend Green Lake Jewelry Works highly enough! My fiancé and I went to the Northgate store to find out what possibilities there might be to incorporate part of a piece of family jewelry into my engagement ring. We worked with Rebecca and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. She talked us through our options, helped us figure out what we wanted, and designed an absolutely beautiful ring for us, keeping us up to date all the way through. She was very transparent in answering all of our questions on everything from quality of materials to pricing, and was fabulous to work with every step of the way. She even worked with my fiancé to be sure he was able to surprise me with the ring when I wasn't expecting it. We plan to go back to Green Lake Jewelry Works for our wedding bands, and would recommend it in a heartbeat for any type of jewelry!

  Designed my dream ring!

  Had an amazing design experience with Sophia, who created my dream ring. She clearly explained each step of the process to us, from trying on wax models to selecting an antique diamond. We had a lot of fun watching our vision come together, and it only took maybe three or four visits total. Not an inexpensive process, but a terrific value, and it gave us exactly what we wanted.

  My pendant was very special - It involved using two stones I already owned and an antique coin. Pia from Green Lake jewelry was very patient, collaborative and creative - every step of the way. She explained how the pendant could look like; I wanted to be able to use both sides - Pia worked her magic & ensured this was indeed possible. She delivered it much before our agreed timeline! Now I’m the proud owner of the most beautiful pendant in the world - and I get compliments every time I wear it. Big hugs to Pia!!! Highly recommended xx

  We worked with Vinh to have my ring made. It was an overall excellent experience. We did a couple of consultations to try on different looks and select a style, and then we made some customizations to the design we selected and chose a stone. Vinh paid great attention to detail and was very patient in answering all of our questions. Once we chose a stone, a wax was made and cast and the stones were set. We received regular updates via our design page and email. The estimated time to make the ring was about 6 weeks and it was finished within that time frame. The finished ring is absolutely gorgeous and exceeded both of our expectations. The prices for a platinum or gold setting are definitely not cheap, but I feel they are reasonable considering the quality of the piece and the amount of time it takes to craft it. It is not a mass-produced item but rather a piece of art made by trained craftsmen and women. It means so much to me to have a ring that was made especially for our engagement, that is the type of quality I can give to my own daughter or granddaughter one day. I would definitely recommend GLJW to others and we'll probably check out their wedding band selection next :) Thank you Vinh and the Green Lake Jewelry Works team for making this lovely ring for us!

  I looked to Green Lake to create a new custom setting for heirloom diamonds that I inherited from an aunt. Their Instagram posts had piqued my interest month ago with their fresh takes on vintage designs. I worked with Emily J to help design the most perfect setting imaginable for my aunt's stones. She was super responsive and really great at providing suggestions without being overbearing. Emily took my requests to heart and make them work to create a one-of-kind design. I couldn't be happier!

Our designer Sam was fantastic, answered all of our questions and was supportive of all of our picky changes to her drawings. She was even able to rush our rings so my fiancé could surprise me for the proposal. Couldn't recommend it more highly!

  I LOVE my ring! Our designer, Pia, and the GLJW team did such a beautiful job on my semi-custom ring. All of their work is so beautiful. If I ever need any other jewelry, they will be the only place I go. I HIGHLY recommend GLJW!!

  We ended up a with a gorgeous wedding ring set that was exactly what I wanted! They were great about talking to me over what I wanted and tweaking the design as needed.

  If you want incredible custom jewelry created with exceptional customer service and satisfaction, this is definitely the place to go. My fiance and I went here to design my engagement ring, and we will definitely be using them to create our wedding bands as well. Our designer even told us that they do designs for people all over the country, so you don't even need to live in Seattle to use them. The designers are so responsive to your desires and wishes. They communicate with you through a message board on their site, and our designer always got back to any message within a couple hours if she was working. They can also make anything with any budget in mind. When we picked the center diamond for my ring, our designer didn't try to talk us in to any specific one she showed us, and was perfectly fine when we picked the least expensive one; they never try to up-sell you or add stuff on to your piece that you don't want. Take a look at their website for a gallery of amazing pieces they've made. If I ever need any other jewelry piece custom made or altered, I am 100% going back to them.
