    BEST wedding food!

Green Fork Food delivered one of the best wedding meals. They brought so many ideas to the planning meetings and I was blown away with their attention to detail and amount of care that goes into their meals. Our guests loved it!

    Couldn't recommend more

They catered our small weddings a few days ago and it was absolutely amazing! They not only did an perfect job for the food and wine pairings but also helped set up our dessert table afterwards.

Would not recommend for wedding caterer

We hired Green Fork, John and Tiphani, to cater our wedding on August 2, 2024. We were amazed with the food when we initially sat down to do the tasting about a year before the wedding. They seemed to understand our vision of "upscale southern cuisine" and tweaked the menu perfectly. We were SO excited to share this food with our guests. I regret to say that this was the only highlight of the entire experience with this company. The communication after this initial interaction was lackluster at best. Based on our budget, we changed the style from plated to buffet. We weren't made aware that this would change the quality of food and overall experience as dramatically as it did. In fact, we didn't know that at all until we were sitting down with our plates on the day of our wedding. We looked at each other with embarrassment that this was what we served our guests after making a SPEECH on the inspiration behind the meal.

The appetizers were cold and tasted like a freezer and no one even knew they were ready during cocktail hour. The steak was extremely overcooked. The vegetables were under seasoned. Some of the agreed upon menu items were missing. There were sauces missing. My scallops were fishy and cold. The cupcakes were not what we agreed upon and were just... on a table somewhere. On the day of the wedding, they apparently had communication issues with our wedding planner and blamed her for the issues with service. We weren't greeted when they arrived, we weren't served a plate as the couple (they told our wedding coordinator that we needed to stand in line with everyone else), and the only interaction we had with them that day was when they told us that they had issues with our wedding planner. Extremely unprofessional.

Leading up to the wedding we wanted to communicate with them much more to ensure that we were all on the same page and were always met with "yep, everything is fine." We weren't made aware that the quality of food would change when switching from plated to buffet. When we reached out to them post-wedding to share our concerns, they didn't try to make it right or offer any kind of apology (except for the omission of one menu item.) The communication from start to finish has been the #1 issue. This could have all been avoided if they would have been more forthcoming and let us know what to expect leading up to the wedding. We would have happily pivoted to make sure that our vision and expectations were still met. It honestly seemed like they were in over their heads. I think they would be great in a small setting, but I cannot recommend them for a wedding.

    Would Not Reccomend

Would not recommend for your catering needs. Period. I hired Green Fork for our wedding. While the tasting was excellent, it was clear on our wedding day that we did not get what was expected and sold to us. Leading up to the wedding, communication was lacking and upon my wife trying to get in touch, she was greeted with an annoyed tone and a “we’re all good to go”. At the wedding, there were menu items that were not discussed, the quality of food was not what was expected based on the tasting (overcooked steak, unseasoned veggies, fishy scallops), and the overall service was not up to par for a wedding or event. Items were cold, and the food was served late. At the end of the wedding, John and Tiphani, approached me and told me they had issues with my coordinator. ON MY WEDDING DAY. This was the first interaction I had with them that day. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism from a company in my life. After addressing all of the issues after the wedding, I was greeted with a “I disagree with 95% of this” and was told there was nothing they could do to make it right. They blamed the poor service on our wedding coordinator and took no responsibility whatsoever. After continued emails to them with hopes of coming to some sort of agreement that worked for both parties, I was ignored and hit with a late fee. Do yourself a favor and shop around. It’s clear that Green Fork does not care about their customers.
