AMAZING! Immediately after we met with Colby we knew we had to hire the Party Faithful as our wedding band. Just his personality and confidence was enough to convince us (I guess the videos helped too, haha!). He was definitely over our budget but we made other budget cuts to accommodate for it and I am glad we did. The band was phenomenal! I mean the instrumentals and the vocals were seriously out of the world! They did all kinds of music styles. Pop music, country, motown and even rap!! And boy could Colby Rap! How cool?!?!?! I was truly amazed by their talents. And all of my guests are still raving about them. That night all we kept hearing about was how amazing the band was and people are still staying the same thing.
We did have a few frustrations during the whole process with responsiveness. Colby wasn't always the quickest to return phone calls and emails. It was a little frustrating and I had a few moments where I thought to myself, "I sure hope he shows up on the wedding day." However, once he did call back and every time we talked to him or met with him we were back to being confident and happy. While the responsiveness was definitely frustrating, it wouldn't have changed our decision to book with them because they truly are the best band out there! Our wedding was absolutely amazing and so much fun and it wouldn't have been possible without Colby Bessera and the Party Faithful.

Colby Beserra and the Party Faithful (Great Life Music) are incredible. They had our dance floor packed from the moment the wedding began until the wee end of the night. The entire night our guests were coming up to us telling us how amazing our band was. And people are still complimenting us today. As an added bonus, Colby is the nicest, most patient and accommodating band leader out there. He took the time to customize a package for us that suited our needs and saved us money without anyone noticing where we cut costs. Absolutely a five-star find. You will not be disappointed.

Colby Beserra was amazing to work with. We absolutely loved this band (The Party Faithfuls)! They were lively, entertaining and knew how to read the crowd. In fact, they learned a popular Indian song for our intercultural wedding. Highly recommended!!

Colby Beserra and The Party Faithful are amazing!! Would definitely recommend for your upcoming wedding! They played all our songs beautifully and made the whole night! We had a pianist/violin for ceremony/cocktail hour, quartet during dinner and the whole band for the rest of the night. Our guests couldn't stop raving about it!!

We've heard over and over from our guests that ours was "the best wedding [they've] ever been to!" The reason most-often quoted is "that band!" Great Life Music provided the ceremony music, cocktail hour & dinner music, and The Party Faithful for the reception. The ceremony music was gorgeous (they played charts that were transcribed by a friend of mine and worked with an outside musician who played an instrument they weren't able to provide), cocktail/dinner music was perfect, but BY FAR what made the night was The Party Faithful's reception music. They had the dance floor PACKED, and I saw people out there who swore to me they "never dance." Some of what they played even sounded better than the originals, they learned a few new songs at our request that sounded great, and they let me sing a song with them, which was really fun.
So, why not 5 stars? Three reasons:
1) Communication was hit or miss leading up to wedding day. There were times I didn't hear from them for days/even weeks & had to work hard to track them down to get my questions answered. Also, there were details they were asking about soon before the wedding that had already been discussed/decided on.
2) A couple of songs on our "must play" list did not get played. The reason offered for not getting to all of our must-plays was that they were losing the crowd and had to change up the song list to keep the party going, which makes sense. The problem with that explanation is that the most important "must-play" was the YMCA (my husband met most of his close friends/many of the guests while working at the Y), and if that isn't a party song, I'm not sure what is...
3) A song on our "do not play" list got played by the DJ during one of the band's breaks. My husband HATES the Cupid Shuffle and is very upset that it was played. I didn't care, and a whole bunch of the guests got up and started dancing, so they apparently liked it. The point is though, that something got miscommunicated...
