  Jack of All Trades

  Amanda was amazing, she made sure everything was set up on time and made our day feel effortless. We were so happy with her service and how she ensured all of our vendors stayed on the same schedule. When changes and flexibility were needed, she was there. She was there when scissors and bobby pins were needed for wardrobe malfunctions. I cannot recommend Grace in the Details enough.

  Supportive and Experienced Coordinator

  Amanda was the day-of coordinator for my wedding reception at the Fullerton Arboretum Bacon Pavilion in October 2022. She was referred to me by another coordinator who was on the preferred vendors list of the venue but was unavailable for my event date. It was such a blessing to get to have Amanda as our coordinator. She was calm, supportive, and thoughtful throughout the preparation process and the day of our reception. As our day-of coordinator, Amanda handled all of the decor set up and vendor communication on the day of the event. She took such good care of my husband and I during our reception- making sure we knew what was coming up in the timeline, directing us so that we would know where to be for our grand entrance, checking in that we were eating and staying hydrated, and managing any vendor questions or schedule adjustments that came up throughout the night. She also made sure all of the decor, cards/gifts were packed up and taken home by a pre-designated family member at the end of the night.
  During the planning process, Amanda was a helpful resource to go to with my questions or for advice. She was familiar with our venue so she was able to help me when I needed to make decisions about the layout of the space. Amanda sent me a detailed questionnaire/planning guide to help me communicate to her all the details I had planned, so that we would be on the same page when it came time for her to set up the decor. She also created a timeline document and sent it out to all of our vendors so that she would be the contact person on the reception day. In the days leading up to the event, she helped field questions from vendors and had a check-in call with the event lead from the catering team to make sure everyone had the details and schedule information they needed to make our reception a beautifully memorable celebration.
  Amanda's fees were an excellent value for the service she provided. How can you put a price tag on knowing your event is in good hands so that you can just enjoy your big day? Make having Amanda as your coordinator one of your "must haves" for your wedding budget planning. It will be well worth it!

  Does More than just Details!

  Amanda did an amazing job helping support the entire day! She had a great organizational planning guide that helped me think of things that I never would
  have considered. Since I am a newbie to planning a wedding, there were many things that stressed me out like the flow events at the reception. Her timeline guide, which planned every detail to the minute, made the flow of events go smoothly and took a lot of pressure off my plate. She even helped troubleshoot what if scenarios (we did a backyard wedding and it rained throughout the day). If you’re looking for someone to make sure your day runs smoothly, you have fun, and does damage control, Amanda is the person you want in charge. The evening before, she walked the venue at our home and made great suggestions to secure the venue flow for crowd control and table seating. Amanda reached out to our DJ and Catering team and was in constant communication with them throughout the entire night. She is a very calm, collected and reassuring person, a type of personality that helps a bride make it through their BIG day.   The best in the business

  Amanda was absolutely the biggest blessing to us on our wedding day. She was so kind, creative, knowledgeable, and always organized. A true professional in all capacities. She was someone who we could count on to be there for whatever concern or question we had. I am so thankful we were referred to her. She is definitely someone who takes pride in really getting to know the couple and making sure she honors what is most important to them on their day. She was a calming presence for me while getting ready as I knew that she had everything under control. I would most definitely recommend her to any bride. Thank you Amanda!!!!

  Amanda was so great. She helped make sure our wedding day ran smoothly and answered every question we had along the way. She ensures your day is the way you intended and takes care of everything plus things you might have not planned for. Glad I could count on her! Definitely recommend!

  Amanda is a DREAM day of coordinator

  I loved working with Amanda to make our wedding day dreams come to life. She was exactly what I needed. She and I started working together a few weeks before the wedding to make sure things were buttoned-up and that we were on the same page. She made sure to remind our wedding party and family that they needed to come to her and not me for questions on wedding day, which was the BEST. She was always calm, even in frustrating situations (venue miscommunication, frequent interruptions, tardiness, etc). I know she handled way more than I know about, and for that I am VERY grateful. I was able to enjoy every moment of our wedding without worrying. She really thought about everything and asked great questions beforehand. She was a huge blessing to us for sure.

  Amazing to work with!

  Amanda was incredible! She was everything you want and need in a day-of-planner. Amanda was the first vendor we hired and it was always a comfort to know we could ask for her opinion as we sorted out the details of our wedding. We handed off the details of our wedding to Amanda a few weeks before and she made sure everything came through for us on the big day, from the decorations to all of our vendors! She took great care of us on the day of, including finding a time for just the two of us to just sit together with some food and drinks and take in the moment, before we danced the night away. She was so easy to work with and made sure everything we wanted happened!   Wonderful in every way!

  I found Amanda through another wedding planner who was unavailable. She immediately reached out to me and spent time getting to know me and my fiance. She was very professional and courteous, and spent time getting the 'vision' for our wedding, and hearing our story. Our engagement was quick - 3 months! - but Amanda was extremely prompt, professional, detailed, flexible, and kept me very sane and on schedule for the big day. Her name 'Grace in the Details' is perfect for her company; she brought God's grace into all the details of our special season/day by her presence and through her intentional words. She was God's gift to us and would highly recommend her for anyone looking for an all-star wedding planner! Seriously, she is top-notch.

  I worked with Emily for our December 19th wedding, and she helped us so much-she was incredible.

  Emily was so incredibly helpful and sweet! She worked closely with my husband and I to give us the small intimate wedding we wanted. She was so caring before and during the wedding, making sure we were well and had everything we needed. She asked us so many questions to make sure each detail was thought through.   Amanda is so organized and very detail oriented. The timeline of the day that she made for my wedding day was so helpful.   Amanda was so wonderful! My husband and I met her a year before our wedding date and from that moment on we felt that she truly understood our vision for the wedding. We took on a lot of things ourselves and Amanda was a great support and full of helpful ideas. On the day of the wedding I didn’t have to worry or touch anything. She is extremely detailed oriented and listened thouroughly of what I desired for that day, and she truly came through. She’s patient, thoughtful, kind, and truly understood me as a bride.   Amanda is a professional, creative and hardworking planner. This wonderful wedding planner wanted to know what my vision was and I always felt like my wedding vision was supported. Whenever I needed help making decisions on certain aspects of the wedding she would provide amazing advice and input and ultimately would let me decide (which I think as a bride is important because most brides have a very specific vision for their wedding). When it came to the big day Amanda was amazing. She was organized which made me feel less stressed, I honestly knew that she was working on all the details and final touches so I wouldn't have to worry! She cares about your big day and you as a couple and that definitely shows in her quality work!

I had the reception at my church and had to rent or purchase every single thing that we needed for that day, and Amanda was totally up for taking care of all of those details when the big day came (not all of the wedding planners out there will work with you if you have a low budget and do a lot yourself).
  My favorite thing about working with her was how on top of everything she was and how calm and reassuring she was throughout the whole process. From my very first meeting with her I was given a timeline for the 5 months that I had to plan my wedding. She checked in with me to make sure things were moving along smoothly, and had amazing ideas that made the day even more special.   I cannot express enough how valuable Amanda was to ensuring our wedding went off without a hitch. In the planning process she was quick to respond to my questions and inquiries and not only was she receptive to all my instructions and requirements, she also offered many of her own suggestions and ideas that I had not thought of. When I first saw Amanda on the day of the wedding, her smiling face instantly relaxed and calmed me. She informed me of how well the set up went, what the next steps would be, and what she needed from me (to just relax and enjoy!). At the hands of Amanda's amazing decor skills, all rooms at the venue looked amazing. I had a very specific way I wanted everything to look and Amanda executed it better than I could've done myself. Not only did Amanda do a great job helping with the planning and coordinating of our wedding, she was most importantly a friend to us during what can be a very stressful and chaotic time. In each and every one of communications she took the time to reassure and calm me and remind me she was on top of everything and I had no need to worry. She informed me of how well the set up went, what the next steps would be, and what she needed from me (to just relax and enjoy!). At the hands of Amanda's amazing decor skills, all rooms at the venue looked amazing. I had a very specific way I wanted everything to look and Amanda executed it better than I could've done myself. Not only did Amanda do a great job helping with the planning and coordinating of our wedding, she was most importantly a friend to us during what can be a very stressful and chaotic time. In each and every one of communications she took the time to reassure and calm me and remind me she was on top of everything and I had no need to worry.   Amanda was amazing! She went above and beyond her job description to make our wedding the best day of our lives. During the planning process Amanda was easy to work with and was our savior when we became stressed and overwhelmed with the task of planning our wedding. She made sure that everyone’s opinions were heard and steered us in the best direction based on our overall vision of our wedding.
  When we arrived at the venue every detail was right where it was supposed to be and everything looked great. When something was missing, or incorrect, Amanda simply took care of it without bring attention to it or adding more pressure to the bride and groom.
  During the wedding she made sure that we always had whatever we needed, She also made sure that we had a full plate of food waiting ready to go at our table and made sure that no one came up to us to talk until we had something to eat. That was very nice because you never get a second to eat at your own wedding otherwise.
  The most amazing thing about Amanda was her attention to detail. We had a very simple wedding with minimal details. However, our details were very important to us. She made sure that each and every detail was executed to a T. The best part was that we felt that we could relinquish some design to Amanda and she executed beautifully. For example, we gave Amanda 2 dozen extra tea lights to put out around the venue. She placed the tea lights out beautifully.
  For you wedding, having Amanda there for you will make you feel as though you don't have to worry about the fine details because she will be there to make sure everything is executed to your desire!
  I honestly do not know what we would have done if she was not there on our wedding day. I know for sure it would not have gone so smoothly if it weren't for her!   I had the privilege of having Amanda Clarke as the day of coordinator at a wedding we hosted here at our venue in North County San Diego. It was a challenging event as the weather did not cooperate and it rained quite heavily that day. Being the venue manager I was running that day making sure that guests were dry and comfortable and making last minute changes to accommodate the weather issues. Having Amanda as a wedding team member was paramount in making this wedding a huge success despite it's weather challenges. Amanda was attentive to our couple, made sure the set up was just as the Bride had envisioned, coordinated with all the vendors and was a beautiful ray of sunshine where there was none:) I cannot recommend Amanda enough. She is a beautiful soul with a giving heart and just the person any Bride (or venue owner) would want in her corner on her wedding day. Hire her!
