She made my happiness the priority!!
Sara's organization, efficiency and energy made this process enjoyable and easy for us. We could not have done it without her. Sara took great care in understanding our vision and did a ton of research to make it happen. She was there every step of the way - asking vendors questions that we didn't know to ask, making sure we were informed, and, most of all, she was always available to talk through important decisions and commitments. Sara made it super obvious that my/our happiness was the most critical part of the equation. Truly fantastic!
From our first phone call, it was clear Sara understood our wedding vision and knew just how to bring it to life. She is not only an extremely talented designer but a wonderful person that helped make the planning process a breeze! We were blown away by the beautiful ideas she brought to the table and her willingness to work through any concerns we had. She was an absolute pleasure to communicate with on a regular basis and we'll miss seeing her name pop up in our inbox! Walking into our venue on our wedding day was something we'll never forget. Everything was picture perfect...even better than we thought it would be. We owe that to Sara's attention to detail and creative genius. Ash and I are extremely grateful for the opportunity to get to know you and have you help make our day so special! Amazing Wedding Coordinator!
We hired Sara to help us the month of our wedding, in particular the week of the wedding and day-of. I can't say enough about how wonderful her and her team were the entire time! Sara is based in Los Angeles but she flew to Mexico for our wedding with 1 assistant. About a month before the wedding she met with us at our place to go over details and review our decor we bought. She had a check list and we went through everything for the big day and we left that meeting very excited and really confident everything was going to go well. She had great communication with our vendors before the wedding as well.
Come the wedding week, she was in charge of the rehearsal and did a great job. Our wedding party was really impressed that she made itineraries for the wedding day for everyone so they knew where they needed to be and when! That was super helpful. The day-of the wedding she checked in on us while the guys and girls got ready all day. Her and her assistant made sure everything was set up at the wedding so we could enjoy getting our hair and makeup done and enjoy time with our wedding party. A big thank you to her for helping with the back of my dress as I walked onto the beach down the aisle so my dress didn't get caught on something. She was on top of little details like that which was so helpful. Throughout the wedding she was always right there when we needed her or when it was time to do something (i.e. cut the cake, first dance, etc). She stayed on top of her timeline and it made the entire event run so smoothly.
I would HIGHLY recommend Sara and her team for your wedding. She really made the whole week go so smoothly by taking so much stress off of me and my groom. Couldn't have asked for more
We hired Golden Poppy off of a referral and we could not have asked for more. They were prepared for everything, unfazed by the last minute details and day-of crisis. On top of all that, they are the type of ladies you would like to invite to your wedding had they not been working it. I cannot say enough good things about Sara and Golden Poppy Events. She is absolutely the best. We hired Sara to help us plan our wedding and coordinate all the logistics on the wedding day. And she was simply remarkable. I don't know how we would have been able to have such an amazing wedding without her. She is helpful, patient, caring and extremely professional. Throughout the whole day my newly married wife and I kept telling each other how lucky we were to have Sara. Highly, HIGHLY recommended.I cannot say enough good things about Sara and Golden Poppy Events. She is absolutely the best. Sara planned my 120-person wedding at The London West Hollywood hotel in July 2018. We discovered her through our venue's preferred vendor list and she impressed us from our very first phone interview with her professionalism, quiet confidence, and experience.
For our wedding, Sara took the time to get to know us and listen to our needs, and was always accessible -- not only was she responsive by phone /email, but when we met in person, she always met us at locations convenient to us even though she lives in South Bay. She even met us at our home once to get a sense of our personal style. All of her attentiveness and eye for detail showed in the decor elements of our wedding, which perfectly encapsulated our taste -- understated and refined with a few dramatic flourishes, personal touches, and edgy elements. She was able to take our amorphous vision and transform it into a fully-formed concept, and suggest things that we LOVED that we never would have thought of ourselves, like a giant custom-built picture frame as our ceremony backdrop, or a giant bookcase filled with decorative items that were the statement piece at our reception space.
During the wedding day, Sara and her assistants exuded warmth and calm and checked in with us regularly throughout the day. Not only did the day go extremely smoothly without my having to think about anything, Sara was thoughtful enough to bring us our signature drinks and desserts at the end of the night. She also kicked out a couple of wedding crashers (hotel guests who snuck into our reception -- no harm done as they didn't take anything, so they must've just thought it looked like the great party that it was!).
Because of all of Sara's hard work, my husband and I were able to just enjoy our wedding day and be present at our own party. She's clearly passionate about her work, listens to her client, and is a pleasure to work with. Best money we spent!

I could not be more grateful to have had Sara Beveridge and Golden Poppy Events as my coordinator for my wedding this past February 3rd.
From the first time I met with Sara, I knew we had made the right decision. She asked all the right questions and quickly began working on my timeline, one of the most important things you will have the day of your wedding. She brought things to my attention that I hadn’t thought of, was available to offer her expertise any time I had a question, and was always honest with me. At times, I felt like I was behind on my planning; Sara would either tell me that no, I was right on schedule or she would help me to arrive at a decision and move along to the next item on the itinerary. Sara knew all of the details of my contract better than I did. She would remind me when deposits were due and even offered to pay any balances or handle tips at the end of the night. I cannot explain how much of my stress was relieved in the weeks and days leading up to my wedding because of Sara. Ninety percent of my guests were from out of town and while I was busy welcoming and entertaining relatives, Sara was crossing the T’s and dotting the I’s. The day before our wedding, Sara flawlessly orchestrated our rehearsal so that everyone in my bridal party would know exactly what to do and where to be the following day.
Finally on my wedding day, Sara and her assistant Jenny were phenomenal! They were on hand to help with anything I needed the entire day. A touch up, a mint, to tell my videographer to chill. Haha. They were incredible.
I will close with this: having an excellent coordinator is just as important as having an excellent venue, florist
and photographer.You really need someone to hold it all together and relieve some of the stresses of planning so you can enjoy your wedding. I will forever be grateful. Sara and her team are absolutely amazing. Sara is incredibly professional and organized, and knows all the ins and outs of planning. We thought we had a pretty good idea about the planning process, but learned quickly that we would have been lost without Golden Poppy. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Sara and Golden Poppy Events! She was integral in the planning and day of coordination for our destination wedding at a hacienda in the Mexican jungle.
The venue presented a unique set of challenges that were outside of our control but Sara tackled every issue with complete grace. Prime example: Our ceremony was delayed due to rain (6% chance that day!) and ultimately we had our cocktail hour first, during which we lost power. While I enjoyed a plate of appetizer and cocktails that she hand delivered to me while I waited, she addressed the power and orchestrated the timeline change with all of our vendors. I didn't even know that there was a power issue until the following day! Even better - none of our guests noticed either!
I would highly recommend Golden Poppy to anyone considering a destination wedding. Not only are they able to bring your wedding vision to life, Sara's savvy mind is indispensable for navigating the complexities of destination wedding planning and guiding you through even the finest detail or consideration.
