  I was really nervous during the planning process because of having to take our pictures before the ceremony, since we we're having a combined ceremony/reception with not enough time between for pictures. Added to this the logistics of having to take pictures on a rainy afternoon at a venue with only a parking lot as a background. But despite all these concerns you somehow found a backdrop that worked and a way to make the pictures look beautiful and professional. You got great shots of everything and everyone (cake, tables, family, friends, dancing) and you we're so incredibly organized and on top of things the entire time. Thank you, thank you a thousand times, I can't imagine anyone else shooting my wedding. Oh! Thank you as well for the amazing engagement and family photos, your ideas worked out great and we had a blast taking them.

  Our original photographer for our engagement party had to cancel due to illness and we were very lucky to find Gernelle at the last minute to fill in. She did a great job in all areas. She is a calm and very capable professional and I am sure she can do great work in just about any environment. But, she really excels at both capturing the very special personal moments that mean so much...and managing and directing a large amount of people for group and family shots. She also took the time to capture the small details and environment that really set the context of the party. Things we would have never thought of. If you are searching for a photographer for your special moment, you can stop looking...just hire Gernelle. You will not regret it.

  Gernelle served as photographer for my blog's branding shoot. Prior to my shoot, Gernelle met with me to ensure that she had a clear understanding of my vision for the shoot. She was extremely knowledgeable on great locations to shoot, and really took the time to get to know me along with what type of images I'd like to have. Gernelle is a true professional and I was amazed at how great my photos turned out. I couldn't believe that the woman in the photographs was me! I would definitely recommend Gernelle to anyone who is looking for a professional, caring, and talented photographer.

  I did a fashion shoot with Gernelle at the Dallas Arboretum the first time we shot together and a mother/daughter shoot the second time. She was professional, on time, kind and helped me pose to look my best. When I got my photos back they weren't over-edited and didn't need to be because she makes great use of the lighting. She's easy to communicate with both in person and over email. I'd highly recommend her for any style of photography and for any occasion. She's not only wonderful, but so was her assistant.

  Gernelle was very professional and the photos were amazing! From the time I arrived to the time I left, she made sure I was confortable and made me feel so welcomed in her studio. She gave great directions as to how to pose and I loved the results. You won't regret hiring her!
