The decision I made to hire this company to cater my 260-guest wedding in September of 2016 is one I will always regret. Less than half the staff I contractually paid for actually came to the event, meaning that MY MOTHER HAD TO WORK MY OWN WEDDING. She and many of my uncles, aunts, and cousins missed speeches and first dances.
THE FOOD - UGH: Corners were cut on the quality of food - it was all ice cold (even the chicken, ribs, vegetables and mashed potatoes). In planning for our wedding, I specifically instructed the owner to use real potatoes for the mashed potatoes but my mom, while working for the catering company, saw the owner USE A GARDEN HOSE TO MIX INSTANT MASHED POTATOES. The ribs were gross - they were undercooked and, therefore, way too fatty.
2 days after my wedding, the owner agreed to refunding half our money, which despite talking him to court and having him sign a legally binding agreement, he never has. I don't anticipate we'll ever see a dime from this guy, someone who I really considered a friend before I felt completely SCAMMED by on my wedding day. I sincerely don't want anyone to have the same terrible experience I did. While he seems to be competent with small gatherings. I can attest to his incompetence with large-scale events.
