  Helen Tao is wonderful. She was our florist as well as our Day of Coordinator. Helen was absolutely amazing. She made me and my fiance feel so at ease and comfortable. She is so professional, quick to respond to any questions, flexible to our needs, and she has such great ideas. She listens to what you want your flowers and your wedding day to be like. She then delivers , but she also has great suggestions.
  She ran our wedding day like an absolute pro! My fiance and I had the wedding day of our dreams, due in large part to Helen. She was great with all of our vendors, the venue, the dj, the wait captain and staff. I highly recommend Helen and flowers by helen. You will not be disappointed.

  Helen is amazing, we initially went with her because she was easy to work with, honest and upfront, and quick to respond. She understood what our budget was and was willing to work within it, she never tried to upsell us. She helped us figure out where we could cut costs to stay within our budget. In the end, our flowers came out AMAZING and they look so fabulous in the pictures. I was most concerned about our gazebo and it came out perfect and I know our guests loved it because EVERYONE took a picture in front of it, and several people have that picture as their FB profile picture. I guess in this day and age, that is the true test. :)

  Helen was a wonderful florist and i was so happy she provided the flowers at our wedding. People are still talking about them 2 weeks later. Not only were they gorgeous, but very fresh as well. some flowers stayed alive and beautiful for an entire week after the wedding. Helen was a lovely vendor to work with and because we had similar tastes, she made the table arrangements, bouquets, and everything exactly as i had hoped for. She used unique flowers that i simply loved, purple kale, beautiful unique fringed tulips, and she even threw in the amnesia rose here and there which i love! great communication, sweet gal, easy to work with, accommodating to my schedule, she was even able to make an extra bouquet at the last minute without a problem. Flowers were one of the most important aspects of the wedding, and Helen delivered with flying colors. I wish i could have a beautiful bouquet of her flowers delivered to my place every week!!! My mother was also extremely pleased with Helen's work, and if there's ever an occasion to use her again, i certainly would! THANK YOU SO MUCH HELEN!

  I really love the centerpieces and all the decors Helen did for my wedding. I give her the color scheme and what type of flowers I like and the centerpieces came out beautiful. I would recommended Helen for any types of event especially wedding.

  I can't even begin to express my gratitude for all that Helen did for my daughter's wedding. She was amazing. She was our wedding planner and she made all the beautiful flower arrangements. She exceeded our expectations! Everything was so well coordintated and as a result, everything flowed smoothly. The venue decor was spectacular as well!
  Helen knows this industry and has many connections. She was always available to us and always prompt to take care of any of our concerns.
  Bottom line... she is the best and we were blessed by to have her services!

  She's also super professional. Of all the florists and even vendors that we met with, Helen was the most organized and responsive. She would always quickly answers my endless emails of many questions with a great attitude.
  
  I appreciated how Helen also worked within my budget. She was never pushy in getting me to have more expensive arrangements and would always come up with creative ways for me to stay close to what I was aiming for. Her honest feedback and flexibility were also big pluses.
  
  And on top of all that, the flowers at my wedding were gorgeous. Simply put, Helen is amazing. I hope whoever reads this does themselves a big favor and books Helen for their big day.

She is such a likable person and an absolute pleasure to work with, I couldn't have asked for a better person to do my flowers!   Our wedding was gorgeous and elegant, and it is all thanks to Helen. Her bouquets and centerpieces were exquisite. She did all kinds of bouquets, including nosegays for the grandmothers and mothers, which were just beautiful and added so much to the ceremony. She also did bouquets for our chuppah and then, after checking with me to make sure it was okay, she added some additional floral flourishes to the front of the chuppah which made it even more outstanding. From the petals along the aisle to the flowers on the cake table to my daughter's bridal bouquet, everything was perfect. Even the boutennieres for the men were stunning. We wanted something simple, which she did, but the flowers themselves provided a huge pop of color that made them look terrific. And everything looks wonderful in our pictures. Also, Helen worked within our budget and gave us many options and ideas of how to get everything we wanted while not spending a fortune. But the best thing about working with Helen is that she is a remarkable person. She responded to every call and e-mail. She was a voice of sanity and calm and took an interest in our well-being throughout the process. She has enormous talent, and an even bigger heart. She brings an amazing passion to what she does -- something you can't easily find. It was a pleasure to get to know her, and we're forever grateful.

  I booked Helen to do my flowers for my May 2011 wedding and they turned out absolutely beautiful! Helen really listened to the look I was going for and the results exceeded my expectations. I did not have a huge budget for flowers, but Helen was able to work with me and offered great budget friendly suggestions that didn’t compromise on style for example having a mixture of high and low centerpieces. For budget reasons, I needed my flowers to serve double duty so after the ceremony, Helen came back to the church to move my altar flowers and brought them to the hotel ballroom to decorate my cupcake display. Since I couldn’t afford separate head table flower arrangements, Helen lined all the bridal party bouquets along the head table with roses petals and votives in between and it looked like a million dollars. Helen is also so sweet and very professional. She would always respond so quickly, practically instantly, to all my emails, which I appreciated so much since I was planning my wedding from out the country. I would recommend Helen to everyone and anyone! Book her- you will not be disappointed!

I went to her with just a few very details/ideas on what I wanted and Helen took them and created the most beautiful pieces. Not only does she have an eye for arranging and pulling ideas together but she is also extremely prompt in responding to emails at essentially all hours of the day.   Helen was very easy to work with, was flexible when it came to the design for the bouquets, and showed up on time during the ceremony. I would definitely recommend Helen again!

  Helen was very easy to work with, was flexible when it came to the design for the bouquets, and showed up on time during the ceremony. I would definitely recommend Helen again!

  Helen Tao of Flowers by Helen did a fantastic job on my wedding day florals. She was so easy to work with. Her easy-going personality was helpful throughout the process. Also, I was on a strict budget, and Helen helped me be creative to have a beautiful wedding on a slightly smaller budget than most people. I knew what I wanted, so it made it easier too. Helen added her recommendations and her special touches, which added to the whole experience. The best part about Helen is that she came to San Diego from Orange County to help me with the flowers on my wedding day. She created two medium-large floral arrangements for the altar (3 feet x 3 feet max. in accordance with my church). Helen also made 8 bouquets (including my bridal bouquet), a floral ball out of spray roses, and rose and/or orchid boutonnieres for my immediate family members. She helped us set up our sweetheart table, our orchid and candles center piece for about 18 tables, our cake table, and our escort cards, gifts, and signature table. Her design was more beautiful than I had imagined. I was so ecstatic and impressed! She worked with my day-of coordinator and the restaurant coordinator too. Helen and her assistant were great to work with, easy to communicate with, and were reliable. I highly recommend Flowers by Helen. You won’t be disappointed.
